Yummy yummy in my tummy coffee oh yeah! Got us a lavender iced coffee and the Honey and Sol which is cinnamon and honey. The BEST! Try the honey and sol latte. We already ate so skipped on food but the French bread breakfast sandwich sounds amazing. The shop has grown since the last time we stopped by. Now there are clothes, soaps, sunglasses, jewlery. It is a true convenient store. Meats, eggs, drinks, snacks, pies, pot pies, and a restaurant. I'd be here every day if I lived out here. ROS (not sure if I spelled it right) works in the cafe and been here since the beginning. She is so friendly and makes the best coffee

Such a cute coffee cafe spot in North Scottsdale. I've been to this location a couple of times when visiting Scottsdale. It is only 20 mins away from the house and is located in a community with homes, sports club, and UPS. The staff is friendly and attentive. I've purchased breakfast before and the breakfast came out hot and fresh. The coffee is also good, but expensive. The ambiance is great outdoors and indoors as well. Very bright, clean and spacious. No pets are allowed besides service animals. Even out on the outdoor patio. The cafe also has a general store for people to purchase groceries and a shopping area. Would highly recommend!

The coffee shop was beautiful and modern, tucked back in Rio verde it's definitely a hidden off the path coffee shop and general store. I wish I was giving it a better review because my iced coffee (NOT cold brew- as I was told) was very good. That being said the woman at the counter was not very welcoming and was very curt. Originally I ordered a cold brew because that's generally what you find these days, and she said "we only had iced coffee" in a very rude voice, I actually prefer iced coffee anyways so I told her I was pleasantly surprised and told her I'd take that. Before I could even order a pastry she punched it into the cash register and walked a way. Another lady came over and pressed total without even looking at me acknowledging me, holding her hand out for the cash. I truly felt unwelcomed. I'm not sure if was because I'm not from the community or if it was just an off day but it sucked since we made the 45 minute trip to try this place.

What a fantastic location!! The concept is apparently a non-profit that benefits the Rio Verde community! It's on trend with its clean contemporary design! It's a combination of a general store, coffeehouse and restaurant! The menu is focused but covers all the basics- and they have options for taking home and baking/warming at home!! The several times I have been there the service is always very kind and helpful. The food is fresh and nicely presented- it wonderful to have an option for residents of Tonto Verde, Trilogy and Rio Verde to have an option closer than Fountain Hills! Kudos!!

Happy to have this little gem so close. This serves as a restaurant, convenience store and gift shop. The dining area is modern and bright. There is a fairly large patio outside with comfortable seating. The salads and quesadillas are tasty. The groceries are reasonably priced and the gift shop offers a large variety of items. Definitely a fun spot!

Tidy cafe with a built-in shopping experience. Food was great - reasonably priced and fresh. Excellent service, too. We'll be back.

It's a very popular spot at 8:00 am on a Wednesday with retirees, many of whom are noticeably regulars. They have your coffee shop basics--muffins (which my kids enjoyed), pastries, oatmeal cups, and some desserts. They also have a variety of burrito offerings from a place called Sergio's I think. I got the bean burrito and it was delicious. As far as coffee, I got a black drip coffee. I am a self-styled coffee connoisseur (I like light roast if I can get it) and their coffee was average. What I didn't like was the service. The lady taking our order haphazardly tossed my kids muffins on the counter and was cold and short with me on my coffee order. She didn't tell me where I could pick up my order and she didn't call it out when it was ready. I was trying to tend to my kids so it would have been nice to know what to do. Eventually I checked what was the likely pick up area and a to go box was there. I wasn't sure if it was mine so I asked the lady making espressos if it was a bean burrito. She looked at me confused and said "[I] don't know, it was the only burrito back there." Good, that makes two of us who don't know. This place did its job for what we needed it for. I wouldn't be a regular if I lived here based on this experience.

I say "mildly suprised" because once we walked up to the actual coffee house we heard the live music on the large back patio. One of our absolutely favorite local artist, Aaron Howard was performing, and he definitely brings in a crowd. It was busy, as I mentioned, but not too crowded, and we found a good table towards the back. As it was the begging of the hot weather this spring, we were very grateful for the generous-sized table umbrellas. But first, we went inside the Bodega to order a Beer and a snack. They have a great selection of Beer and wine! And since we were still 2 hours or so away from dinner, we decided to grab a veggie & cheese board, which had a nice variety of cruditè and humas. It was very satisfying for 2 adults. We spent.a total of about 2 hours there and left there knowing we would be coming back to Janey's. Side note: For those of you who need accessibility, I myself am on an electric scooter for ambulating. The parking lot is dirt and only has a couple of handicap parking spots. But no space is more than approximately 150 ft from the entrance to Janey's. Once you get to the building, it is very easy to get in and out of the main bodega, with wide, level doorways. The doors were propped open when we visited. I did not utilize the restroom on this visit.
