My daughter had an appointment next door with the orthodontist so while we were waiting we decided to try Tea Tango. We ordered a Thai iced coffee strawberry milk tea w/ boba, strawberry banana smoothie , a chocolate shake, spam masubi and the dumplings. Our drinks were tasty but the smoothie and milkshake were a little thin. Next time I'll probably just ask for them to be made extra thick. The spam masubi was really tasty but fell apart when my daughter tried to pick it up. She ended up eating it with a fork and knife. The steamed dumplings were just ok for my taste but my daughter liked them. The girl behind the counter was friendly and gave us good service. There's a lot to choose from and the prices are pretty reasonable. I like that they provide little googly eyes to decorate your cups too! Haha. We'll be back. read more

Very disappointed, I went today for a açaí bowl, I added some toppings and the young lady who helped me was very very kind. $13 dollars for it and it was complete garbage. the berries on top supposed to be FRESH... they were frozen and the "bowl" was so small... it was a big disappointment. This is a new boba spot in the MTZ shopping center. I like how close it is and convenient to order. There's plenty of parking and I went around lunchtime and it wasn't too busy. When I looked up the menu I noticed they had a variety of fruit teas, smoothies, coffees, and slushies. They also have food items you can order as well as sweets! The store was clean, and had books and games you could use while you enjoyed your drink/food. They have plenty of seating inside which is nice. I decided to try the strawberry horchata drink with Boba. I had to mix it really well because the strawberry syrup was sitting at the bottom. The syrup made the drink taste sweet, but once mixed it wasn't as sweet. I don't think I would get it again, or if I do I'd probably do a smaller size because it's really filling! I got it in a M sized cup and it was pretty big. This place gives kaiser employees a discount! So if you are an employee and are craving a delicious drink, or snack, definitely stop by here! Ordered the mango + chamoy slushie and it was spicy and refreshing. They also seem to have reasonable prices for their mealboxes ($9.99) which includes a curry selection or chicken teriyaki with rice, naan, and steamed broccoli. I will try this the next time I am in the area. read more

Just got the Tango Tropical Tango. It was OK. I do love the real fruit in it, and how it's not overly sweet (I can taste the tea). I did ask/pay for boba and did not get it. I didn't want to wait for another one since I had one in the chamber ready to go. I may be back to try a milk tea, but mostly due to proximity and my wanting of this place to be good. read more

My husband and I, made a last minute decision in coming here. I've been having this cafe saved in my "Collection's", I have taken a look at the menu, before dinning in , they have a variety of different Boba's , smoothies, food options & more. It is a new cafe, still has a grand opening sign. However we ordered quite a bit. My husband had ordered two drinks. One strawberry Horchata, & also a mango and Chamoy smoothie, French fries, Mac & cheese & chicken tempura bowl. I ordered a cappuccino, vegetarian curry plate & an egg Macha waffle. It's a small cozy cafe where you can get a quick bite to eat. It's kid friendly, fun board games, books , Its a family owned cafe, Great customer service skills, super hospitable, friendly environment, sweet customer service , helpful, dignity for their clientele. My husband had mentioned their strawberry Horchata is going to be a winner on their menu. I agree ! Five stars for awesome customer service. Although the reason for the four stars and not five, they can improve on their egg Matcha waffle, it was dry and overdone. Good drink. Worst spam masubi I've ever had. Thin, over cooked spam, with a huge thick slab of the driest rice you ever had, then make it a bit dryer. Unbelievable gross. I customize a drink with. Black tea, almond milk, mango, dragon fruit, bobas, lychee jellies. That was delicious. Customer service was decent. Would only come back for the drinks. Food quality control could be very helpful. I ordered a black tea, no sweetener, half and half with double boba. It was awful. So thin, I doubt it was half and half. And there' was NO black tea flavor. It tasted like dirty water. The boba had a weird sour taste to them, as if they were fermenting and out too long. I have never had a worse boba tea. Yes I told the cashier and her respond was "you didn't get a sweetener!" No, I never do at boba places and do not go to those that automatically sweeten. Sweetener doesn't make it take like tea. A waste of $8 with a tip included. Ran into this new place here in our hometown of Martinez and I have to say that we had such a great experience. I had the coffee Horchata and it was delicious. The ambience is a little quiet which I love and the Customer service was awesome. We were greeted with a nice hello and recommendations on the drinks were given as it was our first time. On this sunny Wednesday morning before errands, I was craving a cup of spicy chai. Seeing a grand opening banner above TT, I popped in hoping to cure my thirst. I was delightfully greeted by a wonderful Indian lady, the owner I presume, so I mentioned this was my first time visiting and what she would recommend. I ordered a chai, it took a few minutes so while waiting, we chatted lightly. Upon receiving my drink, she had previously offered to tweet it to my liking. She kindly added more spice to my chai twice and I'm so thankful for her hospitality--it was perfect! Heck, I'd take it spicier if I wasn't on a time crunch. This business is new and small but is happy to take their time to grow to be loved in this small Martinez community. Their hospitality shows so much care taken to produce each order. New place opened up recently and we were excited to try it out. Unbeknownst to me after I paid $9 for my daughter's boba I realized once we got home that the cup was filled half way with big ice cubes and had very little boba. We will not be going back :/ This is the first boba we've had that has used this much ice and added little boba for the price that you're paying. This is more than a fancy drink from Starbucks! I do not recommend this place for boba drinks. I've gone twice since the reopened and they messed drink up both times. First time they added something called chamoy, which was too spicy for my palette. The 2nd time, today, my mango only boba had no boba. When I asked to add it, she said it would be another 15 minutes before it was ready (assuming she meant the boba pearls). I had tipped both times only to get drinks I could not enjoy. Very sad. And both times I asked for the watermelon version, to no avail. Don't go there! read more

The service here is great! I usually go to the dentist right next door, and I ordered a Thai tea. I accidentally dropped the drink on the floor while in the dentist before I even got to drink it! I went back to purchase another one(since the prices are such a great deal!) but the young lady working was super kind and sweet and remade my drink for me. I will definitely be coming back! I was looking for a place to hang out for an hour or so and came across this cafe. Service was good though a little slow as there was only a single employee working (though it was understandable as I was there on a Wednesday morning and was the only patron for a bit). I got an iced americano and a caprese toast, both of which were good quality, tasty, and reasonably priced. The ambience was nice as well and I felt comfortable working there. Overall, I had a great experience and if I'm ever in town, I would come here again! read more

I work close to Tea Tango. It was previously a different boba place and my coworkers and I went there frequently. It is now Tea Tango and I'm so glad. It's so much better than the previous establishment. They have food options here, coffee, smoothies, teas. I tried the House Milk Tea with boba and it was sooo good! New bubble tea. I have to say the customer service was very good. The tea was delicious too. I got the strawberry lemon but I needed caffeine so they mixed it with green tea. If you get it by itself it's one of the two teas on the menu that do not come with caffeine. Also I found out the strawberry lemon and the mango green tea are the only ones with real fruit. That's was cool I hope they have more real fruit in the future but that lead me to my choice. The ambiance was very clean and nice. I have to say I saw they cooked Indian food and found that surprising for a bubble tea place but I believe the owner is Indian. And the food was good! The extra $1.50 for the small piece of nan isn't worth it so I wouldn't do that again. But it had a good portion of butter chicken which seemed to be chicken breast cut up in small pieces, rice and broccoli. I actually love the fact they gave me broccoli, first off it went well with the meal second it made it better and I wouldn't think of that. I will return here again to try the mango green tea. Nice new place for Martinez! Also the drinks come in 16 oz or 20 oz and it's only a 50 cent difference so why not! Lol I loved the fact my drink didn't seem overly sweet either.
