We were quickly seated Sunday night around 6pm even though there were a lot of people walking in to the restaurant. They usually have great daily specials but also their regular menu has alot of variety from salads, sandwiches, noodles, pasta, burgers. This time I ordered their daily burger special and it was mouthwatering delicious! It was topped with bacon and cooked perfectly! My boyfriend got their fish and chips which I noticed alot of people were ordering. The service is always fast and great and the waiters are very friendly. Leona recommended the Brussels and they did not disappoint with a perfect combo of roasted small Brussel sprouts with crispy prosciutto, goat cheese mousse and pickled red onions. What a great combo!! We also split the spinach salad which was perfect for winter with dried cherries, blue cheese, candied pecans and apples. We also had the artichoke fritters which had a subtle taste of artichoke and bits of tangy lemon. We split the ginger pork meatloaf and it was a creative, delicious take on traditional meatloaf. The flavor was reminiscent of the inside of a superb Peking dumpling. The dining room was decorated with beautiful area photos and there was beautiful display of custom designed knives that could be seen in a show case on the way to the restrooms. I took a photo because it may come in handy for a future gift for some aspiring chefs in my family! Excited to add Thyme to our list of stops in between our travels to and from MA to VT.
