Stopped here for a day while hubby worked a shift at air evac so kids and I wanted a place with views of the river and craft beer. The Camp was even better than expected. Tekala was a wonderful server. We started with loaded fries with a jalapeno aoili on top and with home made fries was delicious. I had the sumpin fishy catfish sandwich and it was on a home made bun - perfect. My daughter tried their broccoli cheese beer soup and it was very tasty. Can't go wrong here. The southern pecan beer I tried was refreshing and the perfect amber. Great location and easy parking. Give it a try! read more

Decided to check the place out after one of the manager's told me about it at this art event. Me and my guest had a guacamole burger. It was delicious!. The fries smelled great, my guest loved them. They didn't agree with me, but I believe It was whatever they fried them with. Don't let that stop you from ordering them though. My guest loved them and they were the perfect texture. Love this place and the location is super cool. Located "under the hill" in Natchez right on the river where apparently there's a lot of interesting history. Restaurant had great food and huge beer selection. We had the nachos, hen-rietta sandwich and shrimp tacos. Everything was very good. I was in the area for work and the locals suggested this place to me. I can say they didn't disappoint. The Slow Burn satisfied my every sauce desire. I got a side of slow burn sauce and a side of roasted habenero ketchup for my house fries. The burger was great as well as the fries. I was pleased with the service as well. I arrived 10 minutes before they closed (I didn't know) but was still made to feel welcome by the host and waitress. Definitely give this place a try if in the area! read more

Found this place on Google. We walked down from the Hampton Inn. A busy Saturday night, but we got two seats at the bar and spent the evening there. Very friendly service from the bar lady, despite her working furiously the two hours we were there. We drank the local Natchez beer - I stuck to the German Amber. The fried pickles were tasty. The Hen-rietta sandwich had an enormous amount of fried chicken in it. Really good. The fried chicken salad was also a good choice. A huge amount of schnitzeled chicken on top. Amazing portions for us foreigners. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit. And the location, right on the river. read more

The atmosphere is really nice. Old building with brick and chalk board walls and hardwood floors. Waitress was very friendly and lively. Had a view out to the Mississippi River out of a large wood framed shuttered window. I had Dip Sandwich. It is a beef brisket sandwich with a mild horseradish mayo sauce on a slightly sweeten bun. I had mac and cheese as a side. It is macaroni pasta with a delicious cheese sauce. The dipping sauce was AMAZING!!! It has a slow cooked wood chip flavor to die for. The place is racist. My friends and I arrived right before the lunch rush. It was like us and one other table that already had there food. After ordering our food, ppl that came after us, all around us, are getting they're food first. The server was rude. On our 4th day at natchez, we were going back to magnolia grill, they were closed, we went to the camp, great choice. We were there at 4pm quiet atmosphere. This is a fun place, right on the river in a historic building - with a lot of great food. I'd go there just for the Guacamole and chips - but they have a lot of other great things on the menu too. I was suggested to visit here by a co-worker. Loved the location and the view. Really nice. The food however was average. Not great, not horrible. We both had burgers with fries and the fried pickles. The pickles were pretty good. Good taste and a mix of dills slices and jalapenos (about 1/2 and 1/2). It did come with what tasted like bottled ranch dressing for dipping. The burgers were a tad on the dry side. I thought mine was good, my partner did not like his. Maybe I was expecting more but it was an average, run of the mill, burger (Like Chili's or Ruby Tuesdays). Kinda disappointed. Our next visit to Natchez will not include The Camp. read more

This place is right on the Mississippi River. We honestly only went here after we found out that the Magnolia Grill had a 45 minute wait but I am so glad we did. This place had a great vibe and awesome service. Our waiter Tom was killing it even with all of his tables. He also had great recommendations. The owner was also walking around the entire time making sure everyone was doing well. We did try a bit of everything and it's all delicious! The pulled pork nachos are amazing and the jalapeños are super fresh and spicy. They are also very filling. They also have super local beers which is nice. I had the dip and my husband had the brisket melt. Both were amazing and made to perfection. It just tasted like someone cared when they were making your food. Finally, we ended with cheesecake bites. We tried all three they were offering at the time (S'mores, raspberry white chocolate and chocolate peanut butter) they were all so good. I came to The Camp because Thai food was closed. I had never tried it before. It's located on the river. We came on a Saturday afternoon to find it very full. I ordered the patty melt with a side salad. My wife got the Delta Blues premium slider with fries. We also got the fried cauliflower. The beef patties were unreal. The bread was fabulous. Most everything is made in house. I've eaten all over Natchez and all over the U.S. This is probably in the top 2 in Natchez. Come try it! read more

After riding all day on The Natchez Trace Parkway, I can't think of a better place to plop my tired butt than The Camp. I started with a local Black IPA called Delta Shadow. Loved it. Taylor tries to sell me on the quesadillas but I went with The Camp burger. It was killer! House mayo was a nice touch, but what out this burger over the top was the just crunchy crust that added texture and flavor. Fries with house ketchup were great. I let Taylor talk me into the house made bread pudding and did not regret it. Not too sweet, flavorful, delish. After another Delta Shadow I headed back up the hill full and happy. Came here on a Monday night. Not too crowded and a laid back atmosphere with tv's on walls playing sports and a variety of beers. Wine selection is lacking. Ordered the fried cauliflower as an appetizer--don't. Soggy, flavorless and greasy. I had the chicken tacos for dinner and they came with chips and salsa. I visited The Camp on a recent road trip. The location is fantastic and the view was beautiful. We chose to sit instead to escape the heat but there is a lovely looking porch where you can sit out front. The bar and restaurant look great and the staff were super friendly. I order a burger and my wife ordered steak quesadillas and we were not disappointed. The steak in the quesadillas was delicious and the burger was probably the best burger I ate on the road trip.
