By far the biggest waste of time I have ever experienced in my life!!!! I am currently in the market for a new gym and came across this gym during my search. I filled out a request on line to be contacted to get more information. A few days later I received a follow up call and the lady I spoke to asked me to set up a time to come in for a "tour" I asked how long it would take she told me 15 minutes so I scheduled a time before work. The next morning I wake up early and drove over only to be greeted by a young lady at the desk who simply went over pricing with me. There was no offer of a tour so that I can see the facility and what they offer. Had I known all that was going to be discussed was pricing without the ability to see the facility I would have just asked for that over the phone rather than wasting my time and gas. Based on the small glimpse I saw it does not look as though the amount they are charging matches the experience they offer. I'd pay a little extra and go to Orange Theory. read more

I joined The Camp 6 week/20 pound challenge because of the progress I saw from my sister. She had a great experience from the location in Richardson, so I wanted to give it a try myself for my wedding. This program did not disappoint! I have joined other gyms and never saw changes until I had the support from the Camp. I love that my clothes are fitting better, I feel better, but the best part of my experience is the support that I get from everyone here. I am now a member because they trainers plan your workout for you from start to finish. I am so happy with my progress and results so far. The Camp is truly the best gym that I have experienced. The people are great, the daily motivation and encouragement that is given to their clients makes a huge difference. There are so many gyms on every corner but this one is different. They care, they encourage you to make goals and help you to meet them. You aren't just paying a monthly fee and going in and halfway working, you are working to accomplish something and they get the job done. A meal plan is given and encouraged so that you can meet your goals and keep the wait off. It's a life changing experience and I recommend The Camp in Mesquite. It's a great place to be. read more

I would not hesitate to leave a zero star rating but unfortunately that is not an option so 1 star will have to do. I was having a wonderful experience at this facility until a couple months ago when a new hire (as well as new ownership) had to ruin it all. I met many people at this gym so they know the kind of individual I am, and I would not speak upon false pretenses. My fellow member at the time truly was harassed and targeted as I myself, along with other people were witnesses to the matter. Clearly it was of no importance to The Camp how this may affected her emotional state on many occasions. I myself was also being targeted due to the simple association I had with her or other people. I was told by other members that things were being said about me by one of the staff members and this matter was never addressed. The environment became toxic and I no longer felt welcome at this facility. For a place that considered themselves to be "drama free", this was not the case. It was quite ironic given the fact that the drama started due to a staff member. The owner was quick to take the side of this new so called assistant director who herself was the cause of all these unfortunate events. I understand that he should look out for his team but he was quick to jump to conclusions without ever knowing the REAL story. I know many other places of business that would have taken the time to look into things and handled them the correct way. Needless to say, I was informed that my membership was terminated which at no point was I NEVER spoken to directly beforehand nor issued any type of "warning". Now, I do not expect a response to this review nor do I need one. (Although there may be one where he "defends" his place of business against the so-called "false" statements). The point of this review is not to be malicious or prevent people from going to the Camp. The trainers are absolutely great individuals and this review is not for them. This is for the rest of the staff, both new assistant director and owner himself, who handled things in the upmost unprofessional matter. I will not stand for harassment, defamation, emotional, distress, and limitations in a setting where I was meant to be free in terms of working out. I truly could not believe the lack of professionalism present, but at the end of the day I do believe this was done as a favor to myself. There was no point in continuing to pour money into a place the treated my with such disrespect. I am also aware that I may take legal measures if I please to do so, but that'll just be time and effort that I can use at a new location where I am sure they will take care of there members. I do hope no one else endures such maltreatment but I did want to make people aware of what truly goes on behind the scenes. read more

Awesome place to workout and push yourself! Staff is great, workouts are intense if you push yourself and let the trainers push you. Put some money down and if you meet your goal you get your money back. It's like placing a bet, if you don't have any motivation let that money be your motivation. Get your money back by reaching your goal, no gym does this, You have a certified trainer showing you work outs and nutrition plans. I recommend this to anyone who's trying to get to a specific weight or just get in shape, this is the place to do it! read more

So I went in with the expectation that "investing" in this was going to be the best thing for my life. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!! I took the tour was wowed by Johnny and even "guaranteed" that if I worked hard and followed their plan. I was not only going to lose weight but start living different..well I signed the contract. Next thing you know COVID hits. Everyone closes, I get it, but what bothered me the most about this place is the LIES and the LACK OF ACCOUNTABILITY THEY PROMISED. This place cares about MONEY/ monthly payment and they don't care about YOU! When Business could open again, The Camp Mesquite opened and I showed up. They didn't follow through , I went 3 weeks straight and every time I would ask for Johnny so I could weigh in and get the book or eating plan they told me about, I'd get a "we will do it next class". I'd call, no answer. I'd email no answer but the moment I didn't have enough funds in my account to pay because I didn't have a job, GUESS WHAT??? They'd call!!!!! asking that I need to follo up with them and how they had issued retrieving the owed funds. SMH, this place is TRASH... DO NOT COME HERE.
