Stopped in here after watching Top Gun at the cineplex next door. We were a party of 8. The service started off good. We were attended to right away but that's when it stopped. I had asked for my own separate bill with mine and my moms drinks prior to ordering. At some point our server just never came back to our table. We were seated right beside the bar and had little service. I eventually flagged a server down to get my bill (a beer and a caeser) and that didn't get done. The server brought one bill and didn't ask us how everything was and most of us wanted a second round but never got asked again for any service. On the positive side my beer was good and there was a soccer game on and people were cheering and having a great time. read more

I really enjoyed this place. I tried the Buffalo Cauliflower, Dover Poutine and Brisket Poutine. I loved the Cauliflower and really enjoyed the Doner Poutine. The Brisket Poutine could have done without the BBQ sauce. Either do it with all BBQ sauce or all gravy but not both. The service was great and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. The prices were on par for similar businesses and products in the area. read more

This is a very busy place, and it is very loud. If you are a big sports fan, this is a great place, because the sports games are on big televisions in almost every direction, and the volume of the games are cranked up.. to the point you are barely able to hear people across the table from you. The food is typical expected bar / lounge foods, with minimal options for people with dietary restrictions (such as gluten free / lactose free). They do have a really cool feature that I have not seen anywhere else as of yet; a wireless phone charger with a digital advertisement that dubs as a menu that has a waiter call button on it, located on the tables. The service was friendly; but as it was busy while we were there, it wasn'tthe fastest. For the washrooms, they have individual stalls with a toilet and sink; which is a unique idea... but they were not clean at all; they were actually quiet a disaster during my visit. read more

UPDATE After having a not-so-great first experience at CBH Windermere and then posting about it on Yelp, I'm happy to report that the manager reached out and asked if we'd be willing to go back and give them another try. She maintained that they strive for excellent customer service, and the standard we received was simply not right. We went back today, and our service was much better, the food was great, and overall we had "the typical experience" that is expected at the Brewhouse which is really all you can ask for. It's normal for any and everyone to have an "off day", but making up for it is incredibly important especially when it comes to the food/beverage industry during COVID. I'm happy to say that I would now go back to Canadian Brewhouse Windermere since they made it right. read more

Windermere location SW Edmonton. I love how there is individual bathroom stalls for Men and Women at this location. With vacant/ occupied lock telling you when stall is in use. Staff are good at refilling pop drinks before you ask. read more

With a tearful goodbye to Red Robyn came the trepidation and anxiety associated with a major life change. Where would I go for a beer and a burger now? My tears have yet to dry but a worthy contender opened recently in The Canadian Brewhouse. A frosty tankard of the finest ale for me and a perfectly spiced Caesar for the missus started us off perfectly. The typically timid missus even had a second, a rarity for her. Kudos to the bar staff! Nostalgic for the mile high tower of onion rings from RR, I was driven to open my meal with the missus with an order of onion rings. Although allayed gracefully in a wax paper lined bowl instead of stacked up high, their flavour, crunch, and subtly salty seasoning more than made up for the slight presentation deficiency. The sauce was also more than sufficient in flavour, although a tad watery, but I will always miss RR's onion ring dip. Our special priced individual pizzas were excellent and may become a Sunday routine. Service was friendly and attentive with their modern call button tech followed by friendly smiles and ample patience for my standard pestering banter. Overall, I'm pleased with their contribution to the seemingly congested but bustling Windermere bar scene. Give them a try! read more

Went here tonight for dinner with some family. All four of us enjoyed our food and the amazing service. We also got free garlic bread for signing up on their app which I didn't even know existed until seeing the advertisement at the table. Cannot day enough how great my experience was. This brewhouse is by far the best one I've been to. Brewhouse has always been good, but this one has especially great service! Our server Meghan B was super fun, and made the experience memorable! The food was great, the drinks were great, and the service was impeccable. Pretty great experience here! Little bit of of wait to get in and to get our drinks no more than 5 minutes! Waitress was super friendly and kept making sure things were good, but not so often that it was annoying! Very very happy with the night and service overall!
