    Molcajete
    Brian M.

The Salted Lime came through with the Molcajete -- a sizzling hot tub of shrimp, carne asada, chicken, and all the fajita fixings you could hope for. It was like fajitas got an upgrade and decided to move into a lava rock bowl. Everything was simmering away in a tangy green sauce that honestly slapped. Definitely flavorful, definitely messy, and definitely the kind of meal that makes you lean back halfway through and question your life choices -- in a good way. Is it the best Mexican food I've ever had? Nah. But it's solid, satisfying, and totally serviceable if you're in the area and your stomach's yelling at you. Would I go back? Sure. Would I wear pants with a stretchy waistband next time? Absolutely.

This place has been hit or miss. The food has gotten better but service seems to have gotten slower. There is also no way to make a reservation so you might be waiting for awhile if there's an event in the showroom, however there is walkup dining in the bar area. The dining area is very open and has about 20+ tables. The bar has high top and bar dining as well as gaming, smoking, great drinks and good bartenders.

It's rare that I write a 1 star review, and I've thought about this one for awhile, thinking that two weeks passing between my experience and this review might temper my thoughts. But no, this experience was just overall horrible, and I feel it's my Yelpy duty to call attention to it in order to save others who might be considering eating here. We were a group of 8 family members on a Friday evening; I called down from my parents' room about an hour ahead, and asked if they could accommodate us. No problem, they reassured me. When we arrived, our table was ready. And that's about the only thing that went well the entire TWO HOURS that we were there. First, the service was just slow. And not because they were busy (they weren't). Our server simply seemed not at all present. From waiting forever for her to take our drink orders, and forever again to take our dinner orders, to apparently even forgetting to submit them to the kitchen (causing our food not to arrive until 90+ minutes after we sat down), I really can't think of a worse server in recent memory. To compound the issue, when we inquired of the restaurant manager about the delay in receiving our dinners, she said the slowness was because they shared a kitchen with the adjacent TGI Fridays restaurant. Except, oops, TGI Fridays went out of business and WASN'T EVEN OPEN AT THE TIME. As for the food, it was low end "Mexican food" at best. My chopped salad (which wasn't even chopped) was okay, but others at the table reported everything from "meh" to being simply inedible. In hindsight, we probably should have seen it as a red flag when, just after we arrived, 10+ Domino's pizzas were delivered to the kitchen. Maybe that's why they weren't doing much cooking that evening. Or, worse, maybe it was an indication that even they didn't want to eat their own restaurant's food. The only other positive experience here was that the beer was cold. Even if it took 30 minutes to arrive.

Went to the Salted Lime last night (8/30/2025) just my husband and I. The service was amazing!!! Our waitress Miranda was on point with her service. Nice, friendly and very attentive. She made us feel very comfortable. I always appreciate good service. The food was good. The only thing I would've changed was the meat on my Chopped Mexican Steak salad. The meat was tender and tasted good but the meat was COLD. And a very SMALL portion of meat with lots of salad. BUT I did enjoy my food. Love to sit in bar area over looking the casino. It's a great spot for us. We had a great dinner!! Thank you to your team for a job well done!!

Really good food and I like the decor a lot. Minimal but with touches of whimsy! The Mexican rice tastes really good and has been pretty consistent quality. Taco Tuesday has alot of options including some veggie ones. The chicken fajitas are super yummy too and you get a generous portion size. (And if you want a great server, ask for Miranda!)

Salted Lime at Aliante Casino: Where Tacos and Slot Machines Collide! If you've ever wanted to eat tacos and pretend you're on vacation in Cabo while sitting just steps away from a roulette table, Salted Lime is your dream come true. Inside the Aliante Casino, this Mexican restaurant delivers big flavor without taking itself too seriously--kind of like me after my second margarita. The chips and salsa come out fast . The guac? Creamy, fresh, and the only green thing I trust in a casino. The service? Friendly and efficient. Lyla was friendly and answered all the questions we had when we ordered our meals. . Whether you're fueling up before hitting the slots or just getting a tasty Mexican meal Salted Lime is a solid bet, it's a win. The food was delicious. I especially loved their chicken tamales.

I went to a show at Aliante Casino. I wasn't sure which of the limited choices I'd make so I decided on Salted Lime for something different. I've only eaten at the buffet (now closed) or MRKT at Aliante so I was unfamiliar with their restaurants. There was no wait as the restaurant was quiet this Thursday evening. I was seated in the bar area quickly. There is a larger dining room behind the bar, but there weren't enough customers to open that area. Besides, I got to stare at their chandelier made from tequila bottles. It's quite interesting, and I didn't notice it at first but then realized they were bottles and not plastic hangings. Not wanting standard Mexican fare, I ordered the shrimp ceviche salad. The menu describes it as diced shrimp, cucumber, avocado, cilantro, pico de gallo, lime juice, and special spices. It was not diced shrimp but whole shrimp which was fine! The salad was very refreshing. There was a side of dressing that I added for extra flavor. There was a fair amount of liquid in the bottom which gave the salad its ceviche flavor. For dessert, I had the flan de leche--rich creamy vanilla custard, caramel sauce, and whipped cream as per the menu. The flan came with fresh strawberries and it was a good ending to the meal. Judy was my server and I think the only one for the small number of people eating there. She was very pleasant and was attentive. I'm glad I made this choice. It was a good meal prior to the show and it's very close to the showroom.

    High Roller Margarita, get it
    Jennifer C.

The 4 is specifically for the High Roller Margarita and the Service. Checked into the hotel and starving, I landed on this spot to avoid fried food. The High Roller Margarita had a Grand Marnier float, so it was a no brainer to order it. So good that I ordered a 2nd one in a to go cup. Griselda was assigned to my table and she was awesome! Friendly, quick and attentive. Chips and salsa were tasty. For the meal, I ordered the Chicken Tacos with Black Beans and Rice. I'll admit, the presentation wasn't the best because the beans and juice were on the plate with the tacos and the tacos got soggy. I asked for a side plate to transfer the tacos over. Flavor wise, everything tasted good. No complaints. This place is open late and is a decent alternative to the food court and TGI Fridays that is also located in this casino.

Fajitas and queso fundido, which is melted cheese with chorizo. Delicious!
    Shelie C.

Food is always pretty tasty. Servers are always friendly. Ambiance is calm, the decor it's really cool. They lose one star because the cigarette smoke from the casino is a little much at times.

The Salted Lime is an average Mexican Restaurant with gaming and average service located in the Aliante Casino/Hotel. They insisted that we sit in the bar instead of one of the several dining rooms so we did. They also accidentally sat a minor in the bar that latter moved into one of the dining rooms. We tried different margaritas and they both have a real strong sour taste to them. (Cadillac & da house) Instead of our server saying something like I'll bring chips and salsa to you she said, "Do you want the chips and salsa?" I was going to get the fish of the day plate until I heard the fish of the day was swai.............ANYWAYS I go with a taco salad. My taco salad came out without the chicken......I said something to my server about it and she said, Oh we don't top the salad until it's served so it doesn't get soggy but the food runners run the salads out without checking. BTW- All three salad dressings they offer are ranch (ranch, chipotle ranch, & jalapeno ranch) My husband had the carnitas burrito and the Chile relleno and he thought they were ok. I saw a robot running food to a table here. Average food and average service. I was planning to go to Bistro 57 (also here) but there was no mention on the website that they are closed until December 22 2023. So we gave Salted Lime a try.

    Amrin K.

Really nice ambiance, very modern. The food was tasty for the most part. We went for taco Tuesday and they had great taco specials. The chicken with pico was my favorite out of the 4 I tried. The zucchini and bean one could use some more flavor as it was quite bland, my least favorite. Our server was really friendly and patient as we made our decisions.

Since then it has steadily declined in quality and service. Tonight was the last night we will ever go. My wife and I ordered some drinks (old fashioned and long island) and the ribeye steak for myself, the nachos with chicken for her. We should have left when we got the drinks. They both tasted like they were made with the cheapest possible spirits. I had asked for Makers and it tasted like rubbing alcohol. My wife said her long island tasted like that cheap pre-made stuff you can get for $10 a bottle. When the food arrived we realized we forgot to ask for guacamole for her nachos and asked for it then. It never came. The steak was overdone, but I couldn't send it back because the staff never came by to check on us until 45 minutes later. They were laughing and joking with each other, some watching TV and serving drinks to other customers. One looked over 4 times at my steak that I pushed away from me, made eye contact with me and then would immediately turn and walk away. When the bartender that took our order finally came by and asked how everything was, I explained the problem with the steak, the fact that it had been 35 minutes since we ordered guac for the nachos and that we just wanted to leave and find somewhere else to eat. She apologized, went and printed the check and told me she removed the steak. Not the cold nachos that didn't get eaten since we never got the guac for them. I lined through the nachos and deducted that from the check and paid for the drinks and appetizer that did arrive. I wouldn't waste your time here. It looks nice, but it's just lipstick on a pig.

The chef acceded to my request, and presented me with a large avocado-laced and bacon strip-filled sandwich that was a delight to eat, accompanied by very good slightly crispy French Fries. Prior to receipt of my sandwich, I polished off six very tasty crispy Potstickers. Their taste was further enhanced after being dipped in Soy Chili Dipping Sauce. And Diane mainly ate an appetizer of Fried Shrimp and Calamari. While the Potstickers were as large and numerous as before, the Fried Shrimp and Calamari were much smaller in size and number than we had been served on previous locations. I also enjoyed a Cup of Chili that packed a lot of heat. Diane received French Fries that were very seasoned after she had specifically asked for no seasoning. But our server informed her that the French Fries in issue were received by the restaurant the way they were served to her. She was allowed to substitute a very good batch of really good golden Tater Tots instead.

Nearly all the seating here are high tops. Also I can imagine nobody would be able to get a wheelchair into the entrance with that too close fence. They offer a nice variety of items on their menu. I thought the five different salads they offer seemed just right for lunch so I tried the Asian Chopped Salad. Our server was very helpful and asked if I wanted the dressing tossed into it or on the side. I received a nice large fresh salad. The chicken in it seemed freshly made and was OK. The major problem with the salad were the Fresno Chilies because they were unusually BURNING HOT. And I didn't notice it at the time but my salad was missing the cilantro and the scallions. But it still was a good salad. My husband really wanted a burger but here YOU CAN'T GET A MEDIUM-RARE BURGER because they only cook them medium-well. He went with the grilled Italian sandwich with fries. He said that the fries were very tasty. The sandwich was ok but not the best quality meats. Also the roll was grilled but still cold. If Yelp would allow me to give 3.5 stars that would be my rating for today. I rounded up because of nice service and my salad was still pretty good.
