Canyon Crown has long been a staple of our week. Used to love grabbing a mid week drink, watching sports on their numerous TVs, and participating in Thursday night Geeks Who Drink trivia. We stopped going to restaurants due to Covid, and being high risk, haven't really resumed yet. But, with a dedicated take out area, Canyon Crown was one of the first places we got take out from once we settled into a new normal. And, they are very well organized, so we've even eaten in on the patio a few times. Food and service are as great as ever. Can't recommend more, whether you are grabbing a beer (love the new QR code beer list) or getting comfort food to gobble up at home. read more

My son had a cheeseburger, which he enjoyed. I had Bangers n mash, not exciting. Sausages were over cooked and baked, probably reheated. Beans were definitely reheated as mushy. Mash was okay. Service was decent. Venue, ambience etc was nice. read more

Went for lunch and didn't want anything heavy so I ordered the half sandwich and soup combo. Got the French onion soup and half grilled cheese. Let me start by saying the French onion is very delicious with a nice depth of flavor in the broth. A fairly thick amount of melted cheese and slice of bread on top with a good amount of cooked onion in the soup. On to the grilled cheese. I mean you can't mess up a grilled cheese sandwich, right ? Wrong!! I managed to take a few bites out of the middle where it was a little more pliable. But the rest of the sandwich....was like a brick. It also had a thick layer of cooked cheese on the outside of the bread. I think they were going for a little pizzazz but it was just too hard to bite through unless you have razors for teeth. We tried this place on a Thursday evening. They have happy hour which lead us to try a new place. We had the pretzels which were so soft and had great dipping sauces. Also had the Scottish eggs which had great flavor. Lastly we tried the fish and chips, which were the best out of all three. The fish was so flaky and cooked perfectly. The fries were delicious too. They make their own tartar sauce which we both really enjoyed. I also had an Irish coffee which was a nice afternoon pick me up. The service was great and no one sat anywhere close to us. Went to Canyon's Crown Pub for a dinner with our friends on a Friday evening. It was packed - good thing we had a reservation ! The restaurant is not too big - a combination of bar and restaurant. We had ice tea and a "black & tan" beer - combination of Guinness and Bass beers. For food - we ordered a pot pie and chicken tenders - both were great ! Service was great and the food came out quickly and hot. Prices were a little on the high side, but the food was worth it. I would definitely return to try something else on the menu. read more

Just WOW !!!! I really love the English Pub charm of this Restaurant. Being so far from the ocean one would think that all the fish and chips would be usual frozen fried fritters in Tucson. Not here though, this place uses fresh fish with an in house batter. The in house fish batter was made with a fitting beer named Bass Special Ale. The staff was super nice and kept my tea topped off. The restaurant is exceptionally clean with all safety protocols in place. My family and I felt vert comfortable dining here. What a hidden gem !! read more

Ordered wings and they came out raw; visible blood. Our server took them back and brought out a "new" order. We ate a couple of them, but we bit into another raw wing with visible blood. We showed our server who said "well at least you got a few good ones". Our bill came and we were charged for our raw wings. Poor customer service. My fiancé and I decided to grab some beers and food here and watch the UA basketball game. The inside is warm and cozy and definitely has a pub vibe. We grabbed seats at the end of the bar and ordered a couple of beers. They have a lot of good options On tap and they even have a couple of all day happy hour specials that were $3. Great deal! For food, I went with the chicken salad, which is one of my all time favorite dishes. And this place does it right! The chicken salad was delicious and the celery and nuts added great texture to the perfect flavor. It was accompanied by fresh fruit like grapes, cantaloupe, pineapple, and watermelon. It also comes with a little loaf of bread. It was the perfect amount for me and very good! My fiancé got the chicken pot pie and you get a lot of food! My fiancé loved it and from the bites I had, it was really good, especially the crust. Service was efficient, friendly, and no nonsense. It definitely has a neighborhood bar feeling with regulars, so that's always a good sign. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised! I'm also sure they'll have a great St. Patrick's day party! read more

Last night my wife and I dined (if that is what you could call it) at this location. The food was way under par. The meat in my sandwich was tough and chewy. I'd have to say the bread was that main portion of the sandwich as it contained only one slice of cheese and a few skimpy pieces of shoe leather. My wife's sandwich was tasteless and very unappealing. The wine was fine as was the beer, but wine and beer are something that this establishment would have no control of. read more

We had not been to the restaurant/bar in years even though we live just around the corner but our local watering hole closed. This local business is well maintained with an English pub theme that is delightfully comfortable. They have dozens of beer on tap which makes for a beer lovers delight! I tried the Irish Mary which was a spin on a Bloody Mary add Guinness beer. It was out of this world!! My new favorite drink! Then our food came all very generous portions. We tried the fish and chips, curry chicken and the bacon cheeseburger. Everything was delicious. I would highly recommend this place to anyone! The corned beef and cabbage an Irish staple most delicious. The burger was juicy and delicious with guacamole and grilled jalapeños just the right amount of spice! king of clubs a very generous portion and presented nicely loaded with meats and just the right dressings. The mac-n-cheese had three cheeses and cooked perfectly. The fries were fresh hot and just a bit crispy perfect as I like them. But oh my the bread pudding, cooked in the dish it's served in so all sides are a bit crispy, toffee sauce and ice cream all make for an awesome desert. Stopped by for New Year's Eve, as the 5pm toast (when UK hit midnight) appealed to tired, jet-lagged me and we love beer from the Isles. The place was packed and lots of fun - big old party happening, while watching the Ravens get robbed by the Bengals at the last minute (but I digress). The taps do not disappoint! I'm a lightweight and got a half pint of Guinness on request (not on the menu), appropriately priced at half of the full pint fee. They also feature Smithwick's, several Sam Smith's varieties in bottles, and numerous fine local brews, plus the requisite Guinness and others. Hubs and I each found plenty to love here. Food: kids seemed thrilled with their fish and chips and fishwich, and at least as thrilled to find malt vinegar on the table. (What can I say - they're well-traveled and know how to enjoy their fish and chips properly!) Prime rib was a bit past medium rare, but good. The only "meh" was the shepherd's pie. Some may love it, but I found it too sweet (is that brown sugar in there?) and thin on the meat, heavy on the potatoes. The sweetness threw it for me; wish I had gone with the chicken curry or Guinness steak pie, which hopefully wouldn't be as sweet. We were too full for dessert, but it sounded good. Service was good and the atmosphere just rocks. We're likely to come back again soon - it's a great neighborhood hangout and a lot of fun! read more

Awesome place for soccer. Many Europeans drink as a community better than we do in the States. A few examples, the Irish and English drink in a communal way we don't in the States. This bar seems to be a good place to encourage such behavior. I came in on a Friday for the US women's World Cup game and this was a great bar for it. The menu was extensive for a modest British pub fare. The draft beer selection here is good enough for an average beer fan. Overall solid place. read more

So like a UK pub that you wouldn't know you were in a Tucson. All staff were friendly and efficient. Fish and chips were very good! Guinea's pie was equally excellent. Great place to watch sports but the sports did not over power the pub environment. Great food, beer and wine/liquor choices. HH from 3-6, including Sunday. 20 oz beers for $8.
