Me & my husband split a combo boil 2lbs snow crab legs & 1 lb clams, we added extra corn and got a side of hush puppies. We chose the Cajun sauce and made it medium- delicious and a nice kick! They do provide bibs, gloves & wet napkins for easy cleanup. We had a young lady as our waitress, very friendly & took good care of us. The restaurant is nicely decorated & there is plenty of seating - they also offer a big round table for larger parties. Checked out this seafood steamer pot place in York! The ambience was cool, nice ocean decor, cool paintings throughout the restaurant. The server we had was awesome! He brought us Cheesecake with a firework candle for my wife's birthday! The steamer pot was delicious with 1lb of crab legs. Came with corn and potatos too! On par with most seafood boil places in regards to price. Nice being able to choose your flavor and how spicy you would like it! Lemon pepper wings were very good, the wings were HUGE! The hush puppies were okay, they were served with Butter. They were not the best part of the meal. Overall we would love to go back sometime! Great seafood boil! This is my sister and I favorite spot to eat when I go down to visit her in PA. This place never disappoints, the food is always hot and seafood always the freshest. The fried chicken is soooo good, it's well seasoned and comes out piping hot so when trying to get that first bite out of the freshly fried wingettes beware . I loved the big poufy bag of stuff all swimming around in the garlicky, buttery sauce. My seafood was really fresh and tasty. I had snow crab, shrimp, clams and sausage. I even loved the corn and potatoes that were included. I was appreciative of the bib but my hands were a gross mess by the time I was done. I wish they had handwashing stations in the dining room. This is my go to place right now. I really love the food here. Never have to wait. I come here about 2 to 3 times a month. I like the server Matthew. He is very intensive to one's needs. My daughter and I usually share a meal. The shrimp, the broccoli, potatoes, corn on the cob and crab legs in garlic butter is truly wonderful. They give you a bib and gloves, but I don't use them. Ok..so if you visit The Captin Krab, be sure to learn their menu methods...and not to mention your foods brought out in a plastic bag which you had to cut yourself (two side dishes...soggy corn on the cob and notice, a small , plain, uncut baked potato..i had the sushi which I had to also ask for ginger and wasabi!! I drowned them in condiments because it tasted like how a bathroom smells!! Plus the condiments were dirty and sticky!OOMYYGOSH...it's a "Kluster" F**k! I wasn't sure what to expect after reading reviews on Yelp. One said it was terrible and they're never going back. Another said it was great and they can't wait to go back. When all reviews are similar you have a pretty good idea but when you have both ends of the scale you have it try it and make your own decision. We loved it. We were greeted by a very pleasant host who took us to the table. Our server got our drinks immediately and asked if we had any questions about the menu. We ordered the headless shrimp and crab legs combination and a pound of black muscles. They came with corn, red potatoes and broccoli. We can both put a pretty good hurting on seafood but ended up taking 8 large shrimp and two redskin potatoes home. The price of seafood has gone up everywhere. Our bill was $71 which I thought was reasonable for 1lb each of crab legs, shrimp and muscles plus the sides. It's not cheap but not outrageously expensive either.
