This was definitely an impromptu trip as we were viewing a home in Goshen,NY and ran into this place. It's a bit on the pricey side. All rides are priced at a set price per person and it's loaded on to a card. No wrist bands or specials but that's okay the kids and hubby absolutely enjoyed it. My daughter and hubby enjoyed the zip line. It goes up fast but comes down slow at 30mph so they said it's not as scary as it looks. Definitely try that out for an immaculate view. We stopped inside for some Rock Climbing, arcade games and food. They have a decent menu inside with decent prices for food. Overall we had an amazing time even in the heat.

Ok - let's talk about the 800 lb elephant in the room ... COVID! They had people at every level, every ride who were so hyper focused on cleaning / disinfecting, from the seats and steering wheels at the Go-Carts to the Joysticks and buttons at the Arcade and everything in between. Temperature checks, hand sanitizer everywhere ... they got their act together - NO WORRIES! p.s I work with the Dept of Public Health so I say this all with a healthy degree of confidence! Now the fun stuff ... all of it! OMG so glad to have them back open. Decided to have a fun day with both my kids and did #AllTheThings; Zip Line, Go-Carts, Slick Carts, Rock Wall, Lazer Tag (a few times), Lazer Maze and about $60 on Mrs.PacMan alone The cafe was the best though - the nicest people (with killer hair) and SOOOOO happy to be back open for all of us. If you can go - GO, and leave your covid concerns in the car, this place is spot on and worth the time and money if not just for the fun then for the "normal" again with the family! Thanks everyone - can't wait to come back!

I had the pleasure of having my sons birthday yesterday at the castle fun center. We were celebrating his 10th birthday and it was the best party yet! The staff were all super attentive , the venue was clean and most importantly there was SOO much fun to be had! We rented the glow room which was SOO cool. We had about 45 people and there was still so much room in this party room. The kids did the bounce houses, arcade and laser tag. Every single guest was raving about the whole event, even the adults. OH MY the food was unbelievable. We ordered platters of mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders, French fries and boneless wings . All in all I would give this party 5 stars and more thank you castle for providing the party of my sons dreams and making it the best party yet!

    Axe throwing
    Amanda L.

My husband and I wanted to do axe throwing and after doing a couple google searches we found this place. It's about 45 minutes from our house and it was relatively cheap at $20 per person for an hour. The axe throwing is located in the pub area of the center, away from the children which was nice. We were able to order a few drinks and appetizers when we got there to enjoy while we threw axes. The young gentleman manning the axe throwing was so nice and showed us how to stand and throw since were beginners, it looks a lot easier than it is! There were 3 lanes and 2 other couples there throwing so we had to share a lane, this wasn't ideal since we both paid $20 for the hour. However, the kid overseeing us decided to get everyone involved and started a competition between us all. My husband rocked it! We had so much fun and will definitely do it again.

Most of the rides are pretty short, including the roller coasters. It is a nice place to visit at least once. The ticket prices are fairly reasonable. My friends and I took the bus from Port Authority. It was about 1.5 to 2 hours from the city to Upstate NY. The park was very clean and well managed. The workers were friendly and attentive to visitors. One of my favorite parts was seeing the Lego architecture and landscape throughout the park. It's amazing what you can build with Lego! I definitely would love to come back and visit again.

We went for 2 days and the first warning sign was at the driving school where they no longer give out paper card licenses to the children. Small thing, no big deal. but it was noted. Then we go to the coast guard academy to drive the boats and I was told that I couldn't drive my own boat b/c they prefer to keep people in groups to keep the line moving. Every paying customer should have the right to have the full experience of a ride. That shouldn't even be a conversation. And to add insult to injury, that day was gray and rainy and there were literally 20 people behind us. The dragon rollercoaster was broken for over 3 hours. Then when it was up and running, they didn't allow you to wait for the first car (something all theme parks always allow) The ninja kitchen ninja kiosk had a broken computer and they couldn't take orders. The app doesn't work unless you refresh it constantly. It tells you that "wait times are not available" and / or that you can only view live wait times when "you are at lego land". Even though you're there. This makes it nearly impossible to plan your day accordingly. But the worst part, and the reason I'm ultimately writing this review is the waterpark. They only allow you to go in for 20 minutes otherwise you have to book ahead and pay per person for a total of 50 minutes. Scam, but ok. I tried to book the water park on July 30 for July 31 - but it didn't allow me to. So at 7:30am on July 31, I went to book the waterpark for 1pm ideally but only 3pm was available. More eye rolls, but ok. The final straw is when we show up to finally have our 50 minutes of glory - we were told that they closed it and didn't know when or if it would re-open that day and that was the final straw. Add another $40 per day to park as well. Never. Again.

The smaller kid was limited in rides though. No roller coasters for the little one which was disappointing for her. I loved the 90s Nickelodeon nostalgia. Still had a bunch of Paw Patrol for current littles. There's also an arcade but luckily I was able to avoid that. We went to the food court for lunch and returned after. There are also character appearances-we got pics with Marshall and Rafael. I'd love to return when my little is just a little bigger!

The namesake slide was closed all morning, which was a bummer, but I'm also not sure my kids would have actually done it. We used a Groupon and had no issues redeeming when visiting on a Friday morning. We were instructed to complete the waivers at the kiosks near the entrance. We did have to purchase the mandatory socks which was $18 for three (3) pairs. Before proceeding to the play areas, we put our things in the little cubes they have for storage...i.e. shoes, bags, etc. Keep in mind these are open cubes which anyone can access. I never felt unsafe in leaving our things there...but as always, there is a risk. It was not very crowded on a Friday morning at around 10:30am (they open at 10) so it was a pleasure navigating the space with minimal crowds. There are lots of areas to enjoy for both adults and children. The main area has trampolines as well as some interactive areas where you jump to tap buttons and two video screens where you mimic the movements on screen...both area great. There are a few obstacle courses: ninja, balance beam, and swing pit. The basketball area is also great with a cushioned surface, two hoops, and targets where you can throw balls at. There are two huge slides in the center which are fun. Finally, there a "rock climbing" area with a few different climbing options. You must have the "climb" option added to your pass in order to use it though. You will be belayed during the climb. Be mindful that the gripped socks provided do NOT offer the best grip while climbing in my opinion...climbing was much more difficult that I experience in traditional rock climbing places that provide rock climbing shoes...then again, maybe it is just me. There is a food area which sells some snacks: soft drinks, chips, candy. There are also a few tables nearby where you can eat. Overall we had a great time here...the space was very clean and well-maintained. All staff we encountered were very nice. Be sure to check ahead if visiting with toddlers as there are some restrictions on which areas they are able to visit.

The met life stadium is right across the road along with a hotel super close. That all being said they struggle with quality. They made the halls look beautiful the array of options immense but unfortunately quality is slipping through the cracks. Still an epic experience but starting to go down a smidge in comparison to previous years. The food options need help and the easily accessible food court with typical fast food was overrun there was not enough seating and no way for cleaning crew to keep up so expect a dirty table if you choose the third floor cafeteria. The restaurants were ok but overpriced immensely considering what you get. Is it worth visiting? Absolutely. It's a fun experience walking the halls seeing the art and everything they offer. Would I go there regularly? Absolutely not. For reference a family of four attempting to go to the water park on a weekend should expect roughly $100 a person just to get in. Almost every place we went the beginning price for a family of four was minimum $100. I'd use that as the gauge to budget and plan. Their website sucks and lagged endlessly and glitched multiple times which made it hard to research so I ended up just googling each activity along with the location to get to the right pages. Plan a whole day and know you won't see it all in a day, they will be adding a movie theater and I believe go carts soon!
