Muwife had a grilled shrimp salad Bunch of lettuce and 4 grilled shrimp on top for 9.99 no drink I had a po boy catfish. Was pleasantly surprised. Not much of a fried food person but tried the fried catfish and fried shrimp plate. It was fresh and had a lite batter which made the fried portion not so bad and was good. I would skip the coleslaw unless you love mayonnaise (I hate mayonnaise) and it was like a jar was poured on top of it. The fried okra however was good. I am a frequent crawfish eater, so I believe I have some credibility in writing this review. The catch is a basic and dull fried seafood restaurant and the food lacks flavor. I tried the crawfish, hush puppies, and fish and all three did not have any remarkable flavor. The crawfish was simply boiled and bland. I do have to mention that my server was very friendly and tended to any needs I had. Will not return because of the food. There are better crawfish/seafood restaurants nearby. read more

So I will start off by saying that the food was very good. It was quiet with good music playing and a pretty decent atmosphere. I have high expectations for seafood since I grew up on the east coast and this was a good representation of how seafood should be served. However, I do not agree with the prices. My husband and I paid 10.99 for the shrimp and catfish combo. We paid $11 for a mediocre sized piece of catfish and 3 whole shrimp... now to me that's a little crazy. It's pretty good. The customer service was lacking when we ordered it to be delivered though. The didn't put our hush puppies, tarter sauce, or cocktail sauce in the bag. When we called the lady said "sometimes we forget" and then hung up. The best part about fish is the tarter sauce and who eats shrimp with no cocktail sauce? HORRIBLE!! Seriously don't waste your money!! Snow crab shells were so tough you couldn't break them, they didn't offer something to crack them with either. When you did finally get them open, the legs were so tiny you maybe got 3 bites out of 1/2lb of crab!! No joke!! Fried jalapeños had no batter so you might as well be eating raw fresh ones. The ice in the coke machine was broke so even the soda was hot. Will NEVER return!!! read more

I was a little disappointed that the catfish basket for $7.99 only came with one piece of catfish (maybe that's to be expected for the price though.) This was one of the worst experiences I've had with The Catch franchise. I have always received incredible service with the location near Penn Square Mall. The new location in Moore has terrible customer service. Staff was very unfriendly and the atmosphere was not comfortable. The organization was terrible. Good afternoon to all , I was eating today for lunch 9/13 with my significant other , I'm thinking it a full out seafood place, but it not they have oysters and fish and shrimp that about it. They don't have a house sauce , they serve all these tacos with ranch and a lot of cabbage. The place and the atmosphere was nice but the food was not that great. The Moore location has a lot of kinks. First, the line and wait to order is very long. The AC was either broken or just not working well enough. The same with the ice machine. We intended to order the $1 wine/beer but only found out they weren't available, at all, until we were at the register to order. As of this review, they are still advertising the $1 drink deal. The crawfish advertised price changed $1 per pound more, according to the girl taking our order, while we were standing in line? I drive from Norman both for dine-in and take-out. Tonight was a disappointing take-out. I always order the same - fried shrimp and oysters. I will admit I previously never counted the number of shrimp nor oysters, but tonight only three shrimp and three extremely small oysters. I remember more on previous orders. This restaurant was a big disappointment. We were expecting fresh seafood and a good restaurant experience. We got neither. The crawfish was tough and tasteless. We've never been to a restaurant serving crawfish where everything was a la cart. So we had to order potatoes (didn't have any ) and corn separately. The raw oysters were also pretty tasteless and we had to ask for horseradish and red sauce. Otherwise we were eating them plain. Some packed you can do that because they have taste. These didn't. Well I relented and came to the catch with the family. I am the only non-seafood eater, so I was apprehensive to see what I would find. The blackened chicken with veggies was delicious. The vegetables were really good, which surprised me. I could go either way with the coke slaw. One of the better meals I have had at a seafood place when not eating seafood. The family had a little bit of everything. Catfish, I am told, was amazing. The boil is good (I did try the sausage and it was good). The oysters were gigantic and good. Shrimp is reported to be good also. Gumbo could use a little more heat, but was said to be good. We were pleased. read more

We've tried this restaurant a few times hoping it would get better since we love seafood. I have ordered the shrimp poboy twice and it only has four shrimp on it for $12. The first time I said something to the manager and he agreed with me and brought out three more shrimp, but said it's usually only four. With so many new seafood restaurants popping up in Moore and Norman we probably won't be back. Please look at your competition and see how full there sandwiches are. We came here on a Friday night and they were super busy. Figured since I had heard some good things, I wasn't worried about waiting. The decor was nice and the restaurant was clean. We ordered the jalapeno chips, crawfish boil, kids fish, catfish and tenders and grilled shrimp with red beans and slaw. Let's start with the positive. Everything was fried nice and golden brown, the fish was cooked great, and the shrimp were grilled perfectly. Redbeans, fries and slaw were good. Now on the flip side, the batters that were used for the fish and jalapenos lacked seasoning. Like, I don't even know of they were seasoned at all. The crawfish had the most basic, boiled in water taste and it was served with drawn butter, so that was disappointing. I feel like this place could be great but until they can work out the seasoning issues I will stick with Catfish and Po'boys for catfish and Pier 88 for crawfish. read more

I looked up the menu on the restaurants website and it warned me that the menus may vary by location. I went to the counter to order and asked if they had grilled white fish. She went into a long explanation on how they prepare the white fish and catfish and the difference is the coating they use before they fry it. I tried to smile and tell her that is not what I am asking. Another lady spoke up and said they use the same filet for both. IN OTHER WORDS, YOU ARE NOT GETTING WHAT YOU ARE ORDERING. True, catfish can be classified as a white fish, but the taste is distinct and preparation is important. I ordered grilled whitefish and grilled shrimp, both with double vegetable and no rice. I received soggy looking, over cooked vegetables that were not edible. The fish...I can't explain what the heck it was....soggy, not flakey, and no taste. For $12.99....I received 5, yes 5 small to medium grilled shrimp that tasted like fish! Oh and they placed it on rice that I asked them to leave out. So, they do not know how to cook, they don't know the difference between fishes, and they don't follow directions. Save your money and go somewhere else. I can't foresee this particular location being around for a long time. read more

The food is amazing! So good that we ate there twice in 24 hours; talk about obsessed!! We had the fried pickles, clam chowder, shrimp basket and crab legs. The fried pickles come with a side of ranch dressing. They were very crunchy. If anything, I wished they were a bit more juicy but still very good. The clam chowder, fried shrimp (not the popcorn size) and crab legs were amazing and all the quality of a very expensive seafood restaurant. The portions were dinner size. The french fries were seasoned and very crunchy. The cole slaw was consistent with the type you would expect. The hush puppies were delicious and addicting. There is a condiment section where you can get cocktail sauce and tartar sauce in small cups. The manager and staff were present throughout the dining room making sure that their customers were happy. We will be regular customers here every time we pass through Oklahoma. read more
