Came in for a cold beer and the Irish options met my criteria. Not English pumps but whatever.

Came out to celebrate St. Patty's day. They were super busy, as expected, but that did not affect the service at it. It was topnotch! The food was pretty good and the drinks were even better. I love the look and feel of this Irish pub. We really picked the best place to celebrate this year.

It's cute inside. A pool game costs a dollar, not bad at all. Wife and I both had the Irish Bee Sting and it was tasty, great jalapeño flavor but not very strong. I had fun!

I had so much fun here. Friendly crowd, drinks, chicken tenders and fries were all good. Outdoor patio and upstairs seating and bar are all good for watching games

Great spot this was the second spot we went to for our Christmas beer crawl had a great band playing. It was packed, but we still got good service didn't get to try the food but will definitely be back.

We love coming here for Sunday morning brunch! It's hard to find blood sausage and their brunch knocks it out of the park with the full Irish fry up!! We also love the fully embraced Irish decor of the bar itself. Will continue to visit!!!!

only upstairs was open the monday afternoon we went. good, cold beer. somewhat noisy pool game going on behind us and no food. had a good time overall and servee was friendly

The service and ambiance are decent--nothing exceptional but perfectly fine. However, the food itself is pretty average and didn't stand out. That said, the beer selection looked impressive, so next time, I might stop by just to enjoy a drink.

Located on the main square of downtown McKinney is this Irish pub. We entered and could see that all of the booths and tables downstairs were filled, so we followed the music upstairs. There was a live band playing easy listening, folksy music from the late 60s and 70s like Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville and Elton John's Daniel. The band members were probably in their heyday during those years. The crowd bellied up to the bar was much younger but spanned the ages of 20 somethings all the way into the 50s. It was crowded, but a barrel table with two high chairs opened up, so we nabbed them. A waitress came by to clear the table of the plates from the previous party and told us we would have to go to the bar to order. I went to the bar and tried to get the bartender's attention without success. I then went to the end of the bar where two waitresses were hanging out and asked if they could take my order. They sent me to the other end of the bar where there was a cashier station, and then they promptly went back to gossiping instead of working. I was put off by this and turned the task over to my husband. He found a different waitress near the cashier and was able to order drinks and food in no time. While he was doing that, a completely different waitress actually stopped by our table and asked for my order. I told her my husband was at the bar ordering. She gave me a look of death, threw up her hands in anger, and backed a way without hearing my protest that another waitress had directed us to the bar. The staff there obviously need to communicate with one another and get on the same page. This was a frustrating experience and really made me not want to stay, and I definitely don't want to return. The fish and chips were actually quite good. The two pieces of cod were huge, fluffy and tender with a delicious, light, crispy beer batter fry enveloping the outside of each piece. I wish we had come here earlier or at a time when the service had been better. I doubt we will return to this bar. It was a mixed bag of good, bad, and mediocre experiences. If you live in McKinney, you might not have much of a choice. There seems to be quite a few other late night spots to check out.

Service was excellent we had the opportunity to do a Whiskey testing. The food was testy and portions was fabulous we can't finish all the food. I totally recommend.

Yes I've only given it 3 stars - yes I liked the place - yes I will go back - yes i will recommend it to others. However the food quality and taste was disappointing. Very pleased to say that it felt more like an authentic Irish pub than an American version of what someone thinks an Irish pub should look like. The selection of beers from the UK and Ireland is amazing! My favorite beer when in Ireland is Guinness and a true test of any pub this side of the pond is how their Guinness compares. Happy to report that their Guinness is a solid 8/10 on my taste scale As for the food - we ordered a few wide range of items and apart from the corned beef and cabbage spring rolls - nothing stood out as being stellar. The full Irish fry up was okay but the black pudding was powdery and inedible - the beans tasted okay but they were not traditional Heinz - and no offering of any HP (brown) sauce. The fish in the fish and chips was covered in a batter that was too bready and heavy and there were no mushy peas. The scotch eggs did not have enough pork sausage around the egg. Just a few simple menu tweaks and this pub could be the perfect spot for a homesick person from the motherland

    Keep sharing....

The environment is Irish pub, duh! Wood, brick, etc. It's cool. The service was on task and ready to work. Thanks! The food was better than you'd think. Seriously! Great options. We tried jalapeno chorizo - winning! Chicken Tiki masala, voodoo pasta cabbage egg rolls.... it was all wonderfully tasty. This was a fun spot! Oh, they have beer too.

You have to seat yourself - there were enough vacant tables to pick from. Within a few minutes, our server was over and helped us narrow down on what we wanted to order. I went for a Crushed Velvet Mule in addition to Cali, Buffalo (both grilled versions) and Burg B Q. We told our server that between me and my wife, we will be sharing the chicken sandwich and hence requested that it be sliced into 2. Not only were the burgers sliced, it was served in separate plates with sides as well - that was a really nice touch. Cali was a bit bland, Buffalo and Burg B Q were both really nice. The drink was nice as well. There was live music but we were seated near a table that was pretty boisterous, could hardly hear anything. The outdoor seating overlooking greenery and events they do at the restaurant make the place quite different - we will definitely be back soon to try other options on the menu.

My husband got a flight and liked every single beer, I couldn't decide between a beer or a cocktail so I got both. The espresso martini and a vanilla bourbon aged stout. We love their new venue, we would love to come back during one of the many evening events they host but we're so glad we tried it out! My only complaint is I wish they had more board games, card games, etc. They do have some but the pieces are scattered across the entire building or missing all together. I wish people respected other companies property and I understand why big places like this don't invest a lot in games when it gets treated like this. They do have an old Nintendo set up which I thought was cool! We didn't play so I hope it works but that was fun to see.

We've tried a wide variety of items on the menu over the years, and everything has been consistently fresh, flavorful, and high quality. Whether we're stopping in for a quick bite or staying to watch a game, the food never disappoints. The beer selection is outstanding, with an impressive variety of draft and bottled options ranging from crisp lagers and wheat beers to IPAs, porters, and stouts. Fun tip - if you order a German beer, it's served in a traditional 0.5-liter glass, which adds to the experience. The atmosphere is exactly what you're looking for in a neighborhood sports bar. There are TVs everywhere, plenty of seating, and a lively but comfortable vibe that's perfect for catching a game with friends or family. They also host a variety of events throughout the year, making every visit a little different. One of my favorite nights is Pint Night, where you receive a complimentary pint glass featuring the selected beer with your purchase. It's a great promotion and just another reason we keep coming back. If you're looking for great food, an incredible beer selection, and a welcoming atmosphere, this place is hard to beat. So, we thought - why not, it's close- let's go and see if we like it better this time. Let's start with the positives. We arrived shortly after 5pm and the place was pretty empty so we were seated right away. The server was friendly and immediately took our drink orders. She was attentive and service was fast. No complaints with her service at all. It seemed pretty chill and low key. A few people trickled in but nothing crazy for a Saturday night. We ordered the pretzel appetizer and I was pleasantly surprised. The color of the pretzel had me fooled. It was pretty dark in color which usually indicates overdone and hard so when it was amazingly soft inside - wow! So good! We loved the mustard and cheese sauce that came with it. My husband and son ordered a burger and said they were tasty, my other son ordered the chicken strips and said they were good. Negative for the meal, I ordered the blackened cod tacos and subbed the chips and salsa for the Gilroy Garlic Fries. I was very excited for the garlic fries since we are originally from that area and are very knowledgeable about the famous Gilroy Garlic Festival and all things Garlic. Here's where this dish wasn't exciting - the tacos were pretty bland. I took the coleslaw from my son's chicken tenders to try and add more flavor and make the taco more palatable. I only ate 1 of the 2 because there really was just zero flavor. The fries were probably an even greater disappointment. In the center, was a very small amount of cheese and maybe garlic? It had virtually zero garlic taste - I was searching for it. It was a sad version of garlic fries. I would not order that again unless they were improved upon. I went back and forth on 3 stars versus 4 stars because while service was great and fast, I can't confidently say I'd recommend it to someone. I may say it's a great place to chill for a beer and an appetizer but definitely NOT a meal. I think if your expectations are to stick with the appetizer list then you're probably going to like it. They have a large beer selection and plenty of screens for your favorite games.
