Over priced, under whelming bar food. Live music was ok but just overall very dirty feeling. Old sticky tables, dark environment. Service was ok after I was seated although, I stood around entrance area for 15 mins waiting to be acknowledged & seated. Easy walk from the Marriott Allen hotel, located in nice shopping area with multiple other restaurants and shops. Service was pretty good, as dual waiters were attentive and consistently checked on our table. In on a Thursday as we went here for some NFL game watching. I usually don't write bad reviews about anywhere but I was ask to leave this establishment for no reason and was discriminated against bc of my disability. I got off a 3 hour flight from Las Vegas with my service animal and went to this place for a snack because I was hungry and waiting for my friend to get off work. The manager or owner (he didn't introduce himself) came up to me and told me my dog wasn't a service animal and asked me to leave. I told him my diagnoses and showed him my medication to which he replied, that's not a service animal. We were just on a flight where he was a service animal. I had ordered food and told the bartender that I would pay and leave as the manager told me I was not welcome in their establishment. He gave a bill for food I never received and when I told him I didn't receive the food he told me he could make it to go. I don't live here and I cannot take to go food to nowhere. Unfortunately for the person who was the manager/owner I am well aware of my rights as a personal living with a disability. I am also an attorney and he will be hearing from my personal counsel to request the video surveillance where my dog was laying at my feet, in a service vest, and doing nothing to indicate he was anything other than a trained service animal. read more

Fried 5 sampler, $20: Curly fries, onion rings, fried pickles, fried jalapenos & mini corn dogs. its a big plate, but just a bunch of frozen stuff that is deep fried. It was ok, good for a big group. I would not get it for an individual meal. Whole 9 yards burger, $13: It was fine. I honestly did not read the entire list of ingredients which does list chili as part of the part of burger. I was a bit surprised when I took a bite and found Chili with beans on the burger. I ended up scraping off all the chili. not a fan of chili with beans. In general it was ok, but would not recommend because of the chili. Drinks: The beer menu is large. I had a beer, but several at the table got signature cocktails. In general the drinks were not very good. In the end, its a bar and if just getting a drink in that area its ok. but if looking for a nice dinner I would look at the other options in the area. Why do I keep coming here? Well, Allen doesn't have a ton of dive bars for one, and this only qualifies because it is dingy AF. They have a large selection of drinks available. Secondly when you are shopping or playing a long day of Pokemon Go you just need a beer bad and this is your only real option. They have the best location to snag a table on the patio green for a drink. Inside is a bit depressing so head out to patio overlooking the green space, or for the events put on by Watters Creek mgmt. Also, they have some live music inside as well. My friend & I went there for lunch for their British food. Immediately upon entering we were taken aback by the sewer smell. Not pleasant. There were only 2 other tables of people at noon. Definitely not the lunch place. Our server was nice. The tea was horrible and tasted like instant lemon tea, but he kindly replaced it with a Sprite. Our food was good, but my friend wished there had been some veggies in her Beef & Guinness Pie as there were none. She didn't even finish off the desert, Bread Pudding, saying it wasn't all that great. Overall, don't think we'll go back, especially because of the smell of sewer in the air! read more

Laura Lee is honestly the most amazing bartender ever. She is so kind and has ALWAYS so attentive to the bar's needs. No drink goes un-filled. Not only was this since day one, but every time I've been here. I really enjoy the French onion soup every single time as a side and they make sure to compliment not only my beverage with the entree they recommend, but a main to go with it. Had the olde English pork roast sandwich with aus jus ...delicious. they add fresh mushrooms and sautees onions in the aus jus which added to the sandwich takes it to the next level. The food was actually OK but the service is weak, no "hi how are you guys" when being waited on just straight to the point of ordering. The servers are mostly all young ladies, wearing baggy sweats, crop tops. To each their own but I wasn't very comfortable with everything. I wish we had left to be honest but my mother in law and son were hungry and we were already there. The tables are dirty, I had beer spilled on my menu and it just reeked. Obviously, more of a bar and if you're looking to have fun with your friends it's a great place but I will personally never be coming back. They definitely need to clean the place up, you can just see the walls are filthy. Dirt, crumbs and grime in the corners of the tables and the fabric on the chairs are just nasty. I wish I had taken photos, just so gross. I've worked in restaurants and I would never be okay with working at an establishment that is okay representing itself like that. read more

I stopped by this place around 4:00 pm. It's a bar so it was open seating so l took a seat at the bar. My friend told me the ranch chicken sandwich was really good here but l opted for fish n chip. I had to get my pint of beer to go along with it. The fish and chip wasn't big like many places I've had it but it was nicely battered and the house sauce was really flavorful.
