This review is my first visit when it originally opened a few weeks prior to my second visit. The Service was as expected for a new restaurant which we all expect. All the appetizers were delicious. (Salad & Crab Cake). The Branzinos were cooked at two different temperatures. Mine was barely cooked. The other was cooked well. It's a beautiful new restaurant and we hope all future meals will be perfectly cooked.

A group of us went for dinner at the Chas. for their grand opening, and it was a wonderful experience. Upon entering, the decor is beautiful. It's modern, yet vintage and gives an almost Speakeasy feel. We were seated and ordered drinks. The drink menu is diverse with a blend of unique and classic titles. I opted for a mocktail, as I was the driver, and ordered the Junior Member. It was so delicious! It wasn't overly sweet and was filled with fresh strawberries. I've seen people writing about this place leading up to their opening and describing it as a steakhouse, and while there is steak on the menu, I'd categorize it more as upscale American food. The menu is pretty diverse. We ordered some apps and a Sushi roll to share at the table. Everything was delicious. I would absolutely recommend the crab and lobster cake. It was phenomenal--both the cake and the corn salsa on the plate. The kung pow shrimp and calamari was a close 2nd. We also ordered the burrata and the duck bao buns. I didn't try the buns, but everyone at my table was happy with them. And you can't go wrong with burrata, although I wish it has a crustini or something to go with it along with the tomatoes. The sushi was fresh and delicious as well. We ordered the Hampton Roll. For my meal, I ordered the tuna with a side of creamed spinach. The tuna was delicious, and the sautéed cabbage and boc choy went really well with it. I loved the cream spinach. It was a great addition to my meal. I ordered the nutella cake for dessert. It was so good, and a great way to end the night. The staff was wonderful and attentive and it was a cool experience being one of the first to eat there. I know I'll be back to try more of their menu, and I wish them success as they navigate their opening stages.

First time at this place, very open atmosphere and nice lighting. We got there early before our reservation so we sat at the bar waiting with a drink. They said they would come get us but never did and we had to go up and ask again. That was probably the biggest issue for me other than having to ask for a refill of water, most of the evening the service was fine. Food was great, shared the Hampton roll with my husband and they were able to tweak what I wanted for the salmon. They put the glaze on the side and substituted the spinach for the broccolini for me. Then dessert! My husband and a I shared the cookies and milk. It came with two huge cookies so definitely a good dish to share. The only other thing I'd recommend is that if you are prone to be cold, bring a light sweater or jacket. Also, it was a little hard to have a conversation so if you want a more intimate place, this wouldn't be it. Overall, was a good meal with some minor things but nothing crazy. I'd be back some time, maybe for happy hour as they had a very big bar area.

Great steakhouse with fresh caviar and a decent size wine menu for pairings. The service is top notch and the foie gras is a must try! Looking forward to my next visit!

Had an incredible dinner here! The service was exceptional, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere was beautiful and inviting. We had such a great experience and can't wait to come back!

We had a really nice dinner sitting at the bar, comfortable seats, great service and well prepared meals. Very well done Chas.

    Seasoned butter was so good.

Date night was great here! We went to the bar very early, hoping they could seat us early and waited at the bar. We didn't end up getting seated earlier, but the bar was a fun way to kill time. The drinks were fantastic and strong. The atmosphere was perfect. We had to try the chicken nugget and caviar while we were having cocktails. We loved the taste, but both agreed that a few smaller pieces even if we had to assemble it ourselves would have been better than having to cut a huge chicken cake. The chicken was also a little dry; just another reason smaller pieces would work better. The sushi was great. I would come here just for sushi and drinks. I liked the bluefin tuna entree but found the wasabi sauce all around the plate to be overpowering and probably should have been listed in the menu description. The pork chop was tasty but a little over cooked when we asked for it to be prepared medium. Since it was so late and it took a while to come out, we did not send it back. Overall, the drinks, apps, and sushi are worth returning for, but we will probably skip the entrees.

Wow. What an experience... the food was delicious and the staff was friendly and the location is beautiful. The ice cream sundae was a real standout. They also had a few specials that sounded delicious. Overall for a new restaurant the experience was fantastic

Visited the Chas other night, the 4 of us, came in exactly 5:03pm in 3 minutes the bar was completely full. Luckily the hostess so nice, had a table next to the bar available. Started with the lamb chops only 3 and tiny! We try them in all restaurants to compare but for $28.00 need at least 4 and should be a decent size (not lollipop lamb chops). Had the ribs, branzino and porterhouse. All the food was fresh and cooked well. Saw the manager coming around & told him about the portion size not only with the lamb but the porterhouse was also small for $156.00. Didn't have much to say. Being they are new, will give them another try in a few months to get the kinks out. Competing now with Paces & Insignia they will have to up the portion sizes on their meats. Would recommend them.

The garlic & oil wing sauce is a dry toss and tastes super bland, I do not recommend that one! The honey garlic was great! Loved the southwest eggrolls. Onto the negatives.... The waitress was absolutely horrific. It took 25-30 minutes for her to even realize we were there. You'd think after that mistake she'd be more attentive.... Nope. The table next to us was also getting a little irritated. I ordered the special spicy rigatoni and chicken cutlet. The sauce was very good and mildly spicy but the chicken was tough and not good. Actually tasted old. My husband had the skirt steak and said it was a bit fatty and just OK. Ordered a second margarita but it never came... they didn't charge for it but still annoying. It was pretty busy in there but by the time we left it emptied out. They charge 4% fee if you use a credit card which I found a bit steep compared to other establishments. All in all, I'd try them again for just drinks and apps and maybe check out the bar area. The outside looks super nice to enjoy weather depending. They open at 10am and happy hour is 10am-5pm.

As expected, it was a casual pub style spot with a bar and a small dining area in the back. For this Friday afternoon, it was quite busy. I've been here on numerous occasions hoping that maybe this would finally be the visit where everything clicked. Unfortunately, it just hasn't happened. My experiences have been so-so, and more often than not they've been slightly disappointing. My biggest complaint has always been the food. My take has been it's been bland or uninspired. The French onion soup was just ok, and seemed like no effort putting this together. No provolone cheese option when I've ordered which is crazy. The Caesar salad tasted diluted, with lettuce that seemed waterlogged rather than crisp and fresh. Just overall underwhelming. The food is not necessarily terrible, but just mediocre and forgettable. Portion size is another problem. For what you're paying, the plates often feel surprisingly small. One example of this was the "Big C Burger," which was honestly a huge letdown. With a name like that you'd expect something substantial. Instead, the burger was tiny--maybe 4-5 ounces at most. At first glance you could barely even see the meat because the bun swallowed it. I ordered it medium and it came out completely overcooked, cooked to death really. The bun didn't help either--dense, dry, and overpowering the already small patty. The whole thing just felt poorly executed. Even the little details were off. I asked for olive oil on the side for a salad and what came out was clearly some generic vegetable oil. It felt like a lazy substitution, the kind of thing that makes you question how much care is going into the kitchen overall. To be fair, the one thing Faraday's consistently gets right is the atmosphere. The restaurant is has a cozy charming space with a warm pub feel. The indoor dining area although small has character and a comfortable vibe. The outdoor area is really nice too, and perfect for setting for a nice meal on a comfortable day. Service is good. I've not had any issues with any servers ever being inattentive. Occasionally some order mixups but quickly rectified. Unfortunately, that inviting setting hasn't translated to memorable meals. After several attempts over the years, Faraday's has remained one of those places that seems like it should be good--but for me, it just never quite hits.

Initially we had ordered two rolls and was told no we ordered three so we shrugged it off. I'd also like to note we were paying with a debit card and it's slightly cheapest with cash. The black and white cookie looked delicious so I opted to get one of those. When being rung up we had sticker shock. $9.31 for 1 large black and white cookie. When I said something about it the girl said she'd put it back but we felt bad so we said "no that's okay." because we both felt awkward and it must be pretty special. The apple turnover was $5.20 and lacking apples. We actually threw it in the garbage after 2 bites. All in all the items were not good and not very fresh tasting in our opinion but to each is their own. I honestly with all due respect feel some places are really price gouging since the pandemic. I get that people lost businesses and all but this place is less than a year old and the prices were not justified and not worth it might I add. I wish them all the luck in the world but don't have high expectations for this place. Sorry.
