Went here after Northeastern University graduation ceremony at Fenway. Food was good. I had the fish tacos and my wife had Thai noodles. My low rating was based on the lack of servers, server attitude and food availability. For as busy as it was there were very few waiters. Our large area which covered some 30+ people had 1 waiter who complained loudly about being the only one and that it's his bosses fault for not staffing properly. One person from our party ordered 3 different dishes and each time the waiter came back saying they were out. Again sharing how poorly management has maintained their inventory. Look I get it your understaffed and options may be limited but the way the waiter bad mouthed the restaurant leadership to the customers, I didn't feel it was appropriate. read more

My friends and I had the Korean fried cauliflower. Too sweet for my liking. I ended up having the spicy rigatoni with vodka sauce and my friends had the four cheese and a veggie burger. The restaurant is huge, and was surprisingly empty for a Friday night. They were considerate in pushing our reservation a bit as some of our party was running late, no problems with that. We started off with drinks - my roommate a mojito, her boyfriend a Sam Adams, and my girlfriend and I each Shirley temples. My shirley temple was not mixed well, it was super watered down and tasted like it had seltzer as the base instead of soda. The grenadine was not mixed in well. I asked them to remake it and open second try it was better, but too grenadine-y. Off ratios. But it was not a huge deal, I kept my drink. For an appetizer, we ordered the Factory Nachos, which were an absolute giant portion, but were so delicious. It was more than enough to feed 4 people- it had deep fried chips, melted cheese, queso, salsa, guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo, and jalapeños. So delicious. Honestly, we easily could've all filled up on the nachos. Delicious appetizer. For our mains my roommate ordered the carbonara, my girlfriend ordered a chicken stir fry rice dish, my roommate's boyfriend got fish n chips, and I ordered the macaroni & cheese burger. My burger was absolutely delicious, the macaroni ball also cooked to perfection. My fries were just OK- which was a little weird because my roommate's boyfriend's fries were much better, and our dishes all came out at the same time. My roommate's carbonara was delicious, but the portion was too big. She had leftovers for 3 days. My girlfriend's chicken and rice dish was really good, a great healthy option. The service throughout the experience was decent - the waiter seemed annoyed at times when we needed more time to order, and responded with phrases like "what?" when he couldn't hear what we were saying, the food also took a long time to come out even though we were one of the only tables in the restaurant. We ended up spending about 2 hours here, but the food was pretty delicious and the company was great so I didn't mind. read more

Whoever is there regularly tends to act like I am interrupting them in their conversations amongst each other almost every time. I only get a nice greeting from a gentlemen that works there sometimes as well as one specific woman, but I don't see her often. The women that are there regularly are always busy chitchatting. I have wait for them to stop talking for me to tell them why I am standing there waiting. They usually do not greet me nor with any warmth. You shouldn't feel like you did something to them just for asking for your order. If you do dine in, any waiter I've had in the past has been great! The experience at the bar tonight was extremely disappointing. A woman sitting at the bar repeatedly accused a man standing nearby of being "in her space" and even claimed he assaulted her. I was seated at a nearby table and witnessed the entire interaction, and that was absolutely not what happened. The man was simply standing at the bar like many others. She asked for a manager, who then made the man move. Shortly after, another person stood at the end of the bar and the same woman again demanded a manager and insisted the man be removed for being in her space. Eventually the police were called. Several of us nearby told the manager that the accusations were not accurate and that nothing inappropriate had occurred. Instead of asking other guests what they had witnessed, the manager chose to rely solely on the woman's claims. Meanwhile, the woman began filming other guests who were simply trying to explain what actually happened. It was frustrating to watch a situation escalate unnecessarily while management ignored multiple witnesses. A better approach would have been to calmly assess the situation and speak with others nearby before taking such serious accusations at face value. This was not the level of professionalism I would expect. read more

This place is an awful tourist trap. It used to be fun back in the day to eat 4000 calories until you're sick. The last time I went, they served us the wrong food, the waiter literally took my partner's burnt chicken pasta (not burnt in a good way) away from him without saying anything when he was in the middle of eating it. Look I love Cheesecake Factory but this location needs to die. It needs to be taken to the farm upstate. Sitting at the bar you'll make eye contact, do a courteous little wave, everything and they won't take your order. One of the first and few times I've tipped 0 and not felt guilty as a chronic 30-40% tipper usually. The spring rolls were charcoal. Literally chrispy crumbly black coal. I took the 3 good bites there were but idk how that made it out of the kitchen and no one ever checked on me. I had originally gone for an app, entree, and dessert with some drinks but left immediately after my app. The bartender just chatted in the corner. That was a few days ago Also came for a table today. Unfortunately it's close and easy so it's a lazy pick. You have to ask for bread now!! Brown bread remains great but they caught on to the way their white bread is average and give you two white to one brown. Lousy choice. And I'm still blown I away I needed to ask lolllll but I will say my server (his name started with T and he had round glasses?) was actually so sweet and the only decent server I've had here. He has good energy good vibes. The pasta I got was my fav the Cajun jambalaya. The chicken and shrimp were standardly delish but the pasta was mush. 4.5* Went to the happy hour and am surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I've never had a cosmo before but it was so good, not too sweet and just strong enough. The Asian chicken lettuce wrap tacos were weirdly so flavorful- I could have eaten a dozen of them. The sauces they come with are refreshing and complement the tacos perfectly. The fried Mac and cheese balls were just okay though. They've got to be eaten hot, they aren't good cold and definitely not good as takeout/reheated. The service is just okay, the staff weren't very enthusiastic, but that's fine given it's a chain establishment. Worst service I ever experienced at any restaurant I've ever been. I went to this location for lunch, I ordered an overpriced salad and it literally took over an hour for the salad to come out. The restaurant was quite empty, So there's no reason to take over an hour to make a salad. and on top of it, they messed up my order. How could you possibly messed up an order of a salad. The Bartender would place a linen napkin down as a placemat, give you rolled up silverware in a linen napkin, a glass of ice water, a bread and butter plate and then ask you if you wanted bread. Ask you what you wanted to drink and then placed menu's in front of you.None of this happens anymore. The bartenders used to have more social skills and a little flair! Tonight I didn't think it was that busy, but service was slow. I understand he was making drinks for all the servers who were waiting on tables, maybe you need to put on a service bartender. Went here for a date. Ordered a steak and omelette, both orders were served incorrectly. They brought back the steak but didn't replace or even heat the veggies. They didn't even ask if my omelette could be refreshed so I could finish the meal with my date. Then comes the cheesecake which was stale. The waitress did the best she could. The steak is halved into 2 so it was super thin and we asked for medium rare but it was well done. The mashed potatos were better than the steak to be honest. Avocado egg rolls 8/10 and is definitely a popular favorite. There is something about these egg rolls because they're sooo addicting. However, the sauce is not a perfect match for the egg rolls.. but it was good. Overall, I like Cheesecake Factory and you really have to pick a favorite and stick to it because not everything on the menu is good. I decided on the fettuccine Alfredo w chicken for my meal - great flavor, sauce, creamy, chicken wasn't dry, and it was surely filling, wicked good. My girlfriend got the fish n chips and my bite of it was delicious - crispy batter and tasted light. Tip - you can switch out the chicken for shrimp. Only reason I'm giving 3/5 stars because service isn't always the best... when asked for certain things like condiments, it always take them 15-20 minutes to bring it. By the time it comes, you're already done with your food. For example, I asked for red chili flakes for my pasta. I'm half way in already and then it comes. But overall, I come for the food. Basic Cheese Cake Factory nothing special. However, the service was much worse. Sat at the bar and only talked to the bartender twice. Once to place my order and once to pay. Never asked me how I was, if I needed anything, if I wanted another drink. I had to flag him down to get my check. Meanwhile, 4 of the 10 Barton seats were filled. So basically empty and easy for 1 bartender to handle. The food was over cooked and my orange chicken was super dry. I can tell it sat under the heat lamp for at least 15-20mins before they brought it out. Not to mention I didn't even get standard bread. For a big chain restaurant that's about 50% full to have this terrible service and food is really sad. Thanks to the horrible service at the bar, complaints of Costello A. Very busy location! Waiting times for dining room can be extensive and the bar area is typically pretty busy. Easy access from Marriott. We just had cheesecake and drinks.
