We've been to many Cheesecake Factories across the US but this was our first time to the Cheesecake Factory in Reno. We came with a large group (10) but was still seated pretty quickly. Being a larger restaurant certainly helps with bigger groups. We had a few appetizers but one that stood out was the Sweet Potatoe Fries. Oh dear God were these delicious. Cooked to perfection, they had a nice snap on the first bite but the inside was soft, warm and just perfect. Seriously, so good. What you gotta love about the Cheesecake Factory, is the menu is HUGE and I mean huge. Our table had everything from Salmon, across 3 different dishes, all prepared differently. Lettuce wrapped taco's for a healthier option. I saw a burger and a Chicken dish. Such variety. I ordered the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl. It starts with Sushi Grade Ahi Tuna topped with Soy, Sesame and Garlic, served Over White Rice with Edamame, Avocado, Cucumber, Carrot, Onion and Ginger. The combination of flavors was so good. You would swear you were being served in a first rate Japanese restaurant. The Ahi was so fresh and delicious. For dessert, a friend ordered the Key Lime Pie with Mango Cheesecake. I grabbed a bite. The cheesecake had a smoother, creamy more delicate texture than their normal Cheesecake, a perfect texture for the Key Lime. The Mango topping was a perfect accompanient to the Key Lime. I gotta be honest, this would probably not have been my first choice but I am so glad that we ordered it. It was different, light and utterly delicious. Over the years I've been to Cheesecake Factory several times, with some amazing food and service and some mediocre. The cheesecake has always been consistently fantastic. The last few times feels like they've really stepped up their culinary game, elevating their food and beverage options. We went last Friday as part of my friend and I celebrating our shared birthdays starting with their Italian sodas, a great non-alcoholic drink option which we both enjoyed as our affordable cocktails. One of the things I've never really liked about Cheesecake Factory is that their menu is so large that it can feel a little overwhelming so it took us some time to narrow down what we were going to get and share. We opted for the spinach dip which was consistent and familiar. We also opted for the Honey Truffle Butter Brie appetizer... and wow! I am not ashamed to say that both of us made sure that the plate was completely clean when it was picked up. It has such a unique and delightful flavor! My only criticism is that there are only three pieces and that is clearly not enough! You definitely need to order two. The marmalade has a delicate flavor that almost doesn't feel like a citrus and the truffle butter has a bit of a garlic kick. We have already discussed going back to only order those and this time in duplicate or triplicate! We also ordered the chicken Madeira which we shared. There's a reason why it's a favorite with tender chicken, a flavorful sauce full of mushrooms and asparagus. There really are so many new options on the menu that I can't really say this is better than they what they had before but I know that I like this enough to actually write this review. We finished it off with my birthday slice, (she had already redeemed hers while I was out of town) and even if you don't think it's something you might enjoy, I highly recommend the white chocolate raspberry. It might surprise you! All in all, for a chain restaurant they're pretty good. If you go, do not skip the honey truffle Brie bites. If you do? Then make sure you just buy them for me! read more

I love the Cheesecake Factory and have been to many locations. I was delighted to find a Cheesecake Factory here in Reno! Easy parking, great location, awesome food. The only thing lacking is good prompt service. Each time it takes a LONG time for the server to arrive and to bring drinks and then food. We like to sit on the outside patio where there is a nice fountain. Maybe that is why the service is slow? I hope this can be improved. read more

The food was incredible, the service was amazing and the place was incredible. It was a beautiful location inside of Meadowood Mall. I'm not sure why the ratings have been so tough, but our experience was incredible. Our server was very nice and attentive! The price had gotten a little out of hand I will say, but it's not the employees fault. The food was great and the place was extremely clean and tidy. I came here around lunchtime on international cheesecake day and was thinking that there would be a long line but was pleasantly surprised when we got seated outside immediately. The seating outside was very cool given it was almost 100° out which was amazing. I ordered the lunch portion of the Sheila salad and it was humongous - enough for leftovers. The Cheesecake Factory is a favorite place for me and my friend groups to meet for lunch! I've been here many times since my last review and it's always very good. I habitually always order the miso-glazed salmon entree because it's my favorite healthy dish that they offer. The miso-glazed salmon was perfectly prepared and it's so tasty with the white rice and the snow peas (4.5/5). I asked for extra snow peas this time (usually there's only 3 or 4 on the plate), but it didn't happen so maybe next time. BUT there were 5 snow peas on the plate so maybe they did give me 1 extra! The prices are kind of high even for lunch, but the food is always consistent and delicious. Our server was great and very attentive. Everyone else also liked the dishes they chose too...vegan Cobb, lettuce tacos and chicken in a biscuit. The dining area is a pleasant atmosphere and we could have a conversation and hear each other at our table---which was very much appreciated. The four of us had a great lunch together. I made reservations for 5:45p on a Thursday night. We showed up on time and were promptly seated in a quiet corner. I appreciate this because sometimes the ambience in the Cheesecake Factory is a little energetic. The two hosts who helped us werevery nice, professional and jovial. Our server arrived promptly after we were seated. She was charming. I think she said her name was Anna, but I could be wrong. I apologize if I am. She gave us plenty of time to review the menu and brought us a basket of bread while we were looking at it. She arrived shortly thereafter to take our orders. I had the chicken Madeira and my husband had the grilled salmon. Both dinners arrived after a short period of time. My chicken was delicious. It was warm and juicy and the mashed potatoes and asparagus were also tasty. My husband loved the grilled salmon. He said it was delicious. Anna's continued to come by and check on us and to refill our beverages. She was very attentive and very kind. We were so full from dinner, we didn't order dessert. I was passing through town and just drove in from a long 8 hour drive. I was tired and just wanted to pick up my dinner and eat at my hotel. Ordered through the app, my order was ready in no time. Walked up to the counter to pick up my order, the staff were friendly and accommodating. They made sure i had all of cutlery, napkins, sauces, etc...the litttle things that sometimes go missed. Our bread was still nice and warm and the butter was at the perfect temp to spread it on smoothly. We ordered fettuccini, skinnylicious chicken pasta, fried zucchini, and truffle fries. My only complaint was that the penne for the chicken pasta was a little hard..i love Al dente...but this was a little too al dente. Maybe just me. Otherwise, everything was great! Menu is like thumbing through a short novel because it's so extensive. But I like that the meals that are served is consistent. Celebrated GodPaw's birthday and he was tickled that he got a free dessert from the sweet server. One weird thing that happened was we were patiently waiting at seating area then the host told us that our table is ready and to follow them. 1/28 Decided to meet fam after work and have dinner here at cheesecake factory. We don't come very often but when we do it's good . Our service was excellent and our server was Mia M and she as great . I had the spicy beef tenderloin it was good and meat was nice and tender. Son had the 4 cheese pasta and he enjoyed it. Asked for some extra marinara sauce on the side and they gave it to us no problem. Wife had the Korean fried chicken and she enjoyed it. Wife and son got a cheesecake to go. Wow! It's been years since I've been to the Cheesecake Factory and boy is this place great! I'm on a health and fitness journey at the moment and when looking for somewhere healthy to eat, Cheesecake Factory doesn't usually come to mind. After some research, I found that they actually have a large menu of "skinnylicious" items which are low cal and delicious! What a treat! We were able to sit on their extra large patio on a nice early spring evening. Great for the kids! The interior of this location is huge and though there can be a wait, it's not awful given how large the restaurant is. Our waiter was very attentive. He started us off with drinks (just kids lemonades and a sprite) and he even cut up a complimentary banana for the kids to snack on right away. Winning! Of course there was the free bread basket as well. Wait times were great in between waiter visits and food came out quickly. We ordered the kids spaghetti and meatball, the Asian chicken lettuce wraps, and the new ahi tuna poke bowl. The kids spaghetti and meatball was great. It's a large enough portion for two kids to split it which is what we did. The meatball was surprisingly flavorful. The Asian chicken lettuce wraps are a classic here and my wife ate every bite. They are on the low calorie menu- yet super flavorful and it's a great portion size! The ahi tuna poke bowl is served with rice or lettuce. I went with the lettuce for a total calorie count of just 600. Given the huge portion and savory dressing the entire bowl is coated in, 600 calories is amazing. The bowl feels light and fresh yet very satisfying. While we were so tempted to order multiple desserts, we ended up skipping, but next time I am certainly going with the low licious cheesecake for just under 600 calories a slice. I regretted not ordering it this visit. I am so impressed by the Cheesecake Factory and I cannot believe I've been skipping out on it for so long. While I still would prefer to support local, this is a great spot to keep in my back pocket for when I'm looking for a nice spot to eat out in Reno that still offers flexibility and truly caters to everyone in your party. read more

I wanted cheesecake slices to go. Someone came and asked if I'd preordered. When I said "no", she said someone would be by shortly to help me. 5 minutes, 3 employees and a manager later, someone finally took my order and walked away. Several minutes later she came back with my order. No friendliness except for the first person. I love their cheesecake and get it a couple times a year as a treat. 12/1/2025- Had an old gift card that needed to be redeemed.. I am always impressed with their menus.. Loved the new bowl entree menu that came out a few months ago.. Options, and prices are sooo reasonable.. Plus their lunch menu goes until 5 pm.. Wasn't too hungry and I went with the happy hour burger and added fries- Omg!!! Normally, we just get cheesecake to go from here. It's a little on the expensive side, but my wife prays it and it is actually the best cheesecake around. Tonight we decided to have dinner. We just walked in and sat immediately. The waiter, Andrew, though he had a few tables, came over to our table immediately, introduced himself and asked us if we wanted cocktails. I did tell him that alcohol was the most important part of my visit lol. What we ordered: Mai Tai JW's pink lemonade Ribeye steak Sausage, mushroom rigatoni Keylime cheesecake The Grace arrived fairly quickly, and they were delicious. While we were waiting for dinner, they served us a nice bread basket. Bread was fresh and good. Andrew, our server was very attentive and checking on us until the food arrived. Ribeye was perfect, my wife really loved the rigatoni. She had to take about 2/3 of at home. There was so much of it. It was a perfect date night dinner. Contrary to the name, I typically don't go for the cheesecake. I usually drop in when I'm in the area and want something tasty. Service has always been prompt and the food comes out within a respectable amount of time, even when they are busy. You can tell they promote a team mentality, because a member of management, Dawn, filled in for a bartender to give him a break. Now the food. I know this sounds strange, but they have some of the best Orange Chicken! It's sauced enough to inject a ton of flavor without being drowned in the typical gelatinous mixture. And each piece is super crispy and juicy! Another go-to is the Factory Chopped Salad! It's flavored with a vinaigrette dressing and won't weigh you down. First time trying the chicken taquitos and they did not disappoint! The one thing that bugs me is the lighting. The dark amber color distorts colors and shifts how you view things. One thing I will note is there is a slippery floor situation on the main area and not sure why. I know it wasn't just me as I overheard someone mention the same. I usually get the Factory combo with a portion of salmon and Madeira chicken option and was so bummed to learn they no longer offered it. My second go to is usually the chicken bellagio but opted out for the full order of Chicken Madeira instead. It was ok - came out a bit dry on the sauce so had to ask for more on the side . Hard to explain but very tasty. Tons of protein. No bones! - the happy hour burgers were huge! Double smash patties, grilled onions, pickles on the side. We ordered two! - nachos. Despite the huge plate and pretty presentation, there isn't a lot on these chips. I wish there were some beans or meat protein - crab cakes - these were the worst. The creaminess of the possibly mayo base overpowered the crab in taste, texture and temperature. The whole thing was cold. It sogged up supposedly crispy rice cracker in the bottom. Plus you only get these 3 cream puffs sized bites - yet we still didn't finish them. Hard do not recommend! DRINKS - HAPY HOUR - Whiskey smash was tasty. The whiskey was decent and the orange twist cut wonderfully - margarita - came with a fully loaded rim of salt (yay!) and lime but was missing alcohol - the IPA on tap was good We were so stuffed, we took a good deal of leftovers home. The place is well lit clean and well decorated as always. Tried the Rene's special i believe thats what it was called. Came with sandwich, salad and soup. Happy New Year! For my first review, it goes to Cheesecake Factory. A go to for great American cuisine and some tasty recipes taken from various cultures across the world. Per usual the service was great. Promptly seated in a nice booth. The place was thumping this evening, lots of patrons from the bar to the back of the restaurant. A word of caution however: be careful walking in there with wet shoes, their floor is terribly slippery. During my our visit I had their Spicy Ginger Beef and Fritzie had the Chicken Madeira. The Spicy Ginger Beef was underwhelming. Mostly soaking in a soy based sauced the beef tips were cooked a little too well. Some pieces were burnt and the vegetables lacked hardiness, a fullness as they felt overcooked, while Fritzie's Chicken Madeira was delicious as wells as the mashed potatoes that accompanied it. Her thought was--maybe leaving the oriental based foods which require soy sauces and certain techniques alone and stick to the tried and true. I do enjoy a good Chicken Bellagio. I may play around with the idea of getting their Chicken and Shrimp gumbo next time, but I'm not sure how that's going to go. I'd be tremendously disappointed if the seasoning and flavors of the gumbo didn't hit every note I'd expect but I digress. Just--expectations. Of course we had to go home with a slice of Tiramisu Cheesecake. Delicious. Period. Overall I'm willing to give the location another shot, just, not this dish. We went to Cheesecake Factory for my granddaughter's ninth birthday. This is a tradition and she loves to go there. For appetizers, we ordered the fried zucchini and the crispy fried cheese. Both were amazing. The planks of zucchini are very big. and breaded very well, and the crispy fried cheese, which is mozzarella cheese, and fontina cheese, is a wedge, and you cut it open, and the cheese is just melting everywhere. Very good. For our entrees, I ordered the Chicken Katsu bowl, which is a new item. It is crispy chicken with teriyaki glaze, edamame, mushrooms, cucumber, and sesame seeds. You can also choose white or brown rice. This was very good. The sauce had a little bit of a bite, but it just added flavor. Another person ordered the carnitas bowl, which is pork with rice, beans, poblano chili, roasted corn salsa, sour cream, guacamole, and tortillas. This was extremely spicy, and the person that ordered it likes spice, but could not eat it. So we did have that remove from our bill, unfortunately. The kids shared a regular serving of bowtie pasta with alfredo sauce and chicken. As usual, they clean the plate. We split it between 2 children, and it is plenty for them. My daughter ordered the chicken Romano, which is a breast of chicken with Romano, Parmesan, cheese crust, and it's served with pasta in a light tomato sauce. This is one of her favorite dishes, and she orders it quite frequently as it's very good. For dessert, we ordered strawberry shortcake, and key lime cheesecake. The key lime cheesecake was for the birthday girl, and she finished it probably within three minutes. It went very quickly. I ordered a slice of carrot cake to go, and I have that sitting in the refrigerator, just taking a few bites here and there, trying to savor it. Overall, it was a great experience with a very good server. And, of course, it was busy, even for a Sunday evening at about 7:30. read more

We have been to The Cheesecake Factory a handful of times. The food is decent but has that franchise-y taste (the kind of taste where few things taste made from scratch). The cheesecake is always delicious of course. It can get busy so not the most romantic atmosphere, but it is usually clean. Servers are typically decent here. I normally despise chain restaurants, but Cheesecake Factory really surprised me with the consistency and yumminess of their dishes! The fried mac and cheese balls were so cheesy and had the perfect crust to cheese ratio. My mushroom appetizers were juicy and flavorful, with a delicious mushroom sauce I used to dip some bread in. I enjoyed my thai chicken salad, it was such a big salad I had leftovers for the next day. I tried my partners pasta dish and I really liked the sauce it surprised me with some flavor. The only issues were the service was incredibly slow and the drinks were not creative or interesting (but I don't drink much so not a big issue for me mainly for the people I was with). The restaurant was clean and inviting. Our server, Ashley V, was friendly and attentive. I had baked Brie with Truffle sauce and marmalade topping. I also had the Buffalo Blast. It's boned Buffalo wings, chopped with wing sauce and deep fried in a wrap. It came with celery, carrots and Blue cheese and ranch dressing. It was excellent. The burger was absolutely amazing and unique take on comfort food. The fries were nice and hot but also crunchy. The atmosphere is quite dark though but very classy.
