I love the Cheesecake Factory and have been to many locations. I was delighted to find a Cheesecake Factory here in Reno! Easy parking, great location, awesome food. The only thing lacking is good prompt service. Each time it takes a LONG time for the server to arrive and to bring drinks and then food. We like to sit on the outside patio where there is a nice fountain. Maybe that is why the service is slow? I hope this can be improved. read more

I made reservations for 5:45p on a Thursday night. We showed up on time and were promptly seated in a quiet corner. I appreciate this because sometimes the ambience in the Cheesecake Factory is a little energetic. The two hosts who helped us werevery nice, professional and jovial. Our server arrived promptly after we were seated. She was charming. I think she said her name was Anna, but I could be wrong. I apologize if I am. She gave us plenty of time to review the menu and brought us a basket of bread while we were looking at it. She arrived shortly thereafter to take our orders. I had the chicken Madeira and my husband had the grilled salmon. Both dinners arrived after a short period of time. My chicken was delicious. It was warm and juicy and the mashed potatoes and asparagus were also tasty. My husband loved the grilled salmon. He said it was delicious. Anna's continued to come by and check on us and to refill our beverages. She was very attentive and very kind. We were so full from dinner, we didn't order dessert. My friends and I had dinner at Cheesecake Factory. The menu is huge! I had the Thai Chicken salad, which was bursting with so many flavors, "it had my taste buds attention." My friends ordered order the Parmesan chicken and loved how tender the chicken was cooked and she stated it was delicious. Her husband ordered the Ribeye steak and was 100% pleased with his choice. Celebrated GodPaw's birthday and he was tickled that he got a free dessert from the sweet server. I was passing through town and just drove in from a long 8 hour drive. I was tired and just wanted to pick up my dinner and eat at my hotel. Ordered through the app, my order was ready in no time. Walked up to the counter to pick up my order, the staff were friendly and accommodating. They made sure i had all of cutlery, napkins, sauces, etc...the litttle things that sometimes go missed. Our bread was still nice and warm and the butter was at the perfect temp to spread it on smoothly. We ordered fettuccini, skinnylicious chicken pasta, fried zucchini, and truffle fries. The chicken fettuccini Alfredo was disgusting. The sauce was flavorless and the chicken added cost much more for the frozen compressed dark meat chicken that was tossed in and it was truly awful and cost much more just for the chicken added. Wasn't fresh at all. $30 dollars for this dish and I was not at all impressed. I should have sent it back. Even the noodles tasted like they had been frozen and warmed up in the microwave. Wow! It's been years since I've been to the Cheesecake Factory and boy is this place great! I'm on a health and fitness journey at the moment and when looking for somewhere healthy to eat, Cheesecake Factory doesn't usually come to mind. After some research, I found that they actually have a large menu of "skinnylicious" items which are low cal and delicious! What a treat! We were able to sit on their extra large patio on a nice early spring evening. Great for the kids! The interior of this location is huge and though there can be a wait, it's not awful given how large the restaurant is. Our waiter was very attentive. He started us off with drinks (just kids lemonades and a sprite) and he even cut up a complimentary banana for the kids to snack on right away. Winning! Of course there was the free bread basket as well. Wait times were great in between waiter visits and food came out quickly. We ordered the kids spaghetti and meatball, the Asian chicken lettuce wraps, and the new ahi tuna poke bowl. The kids spaghetti and meatball was great. It's a large enough portion for two kids to split it which is what we did. The meatball was surprisingly flavorful. The Asian chicken lettuce wraps are a classic here and my wife ate every bite. They are on the low calorie menu- yet super flavorful and it's a great portion size! The ahi tuna poke bowl is served with rice or lettuce. I went with the lettuce for a total calorie count of just 600. Given the huge portion and savory dressing the entire bowl is coated in, 600 calories is amazing. The bowl feels light and fresh yet very satisfying. While we were so tempted to order multiple desserts, we ended up skipping, but next time I am certainly going with the low licious cheesecake for just under 600 calories a slice. I regretted not ordering it this visit. I am so impressed by the Cheesecake Factory and I cannot believe I've been skipping out on it for so long. 1/28 Decided to meet fam after work and have dinner here at cheesecake factory. We don't come very often but when we do it's good . Our service was excellent and our server was Mia M and she as great . I had the spicy beef tenderloin it was good and meat was nice and tender. Son had the 4 cheese pasta and he enjoyed it. Asked for some extra marinara sauce on the side and they gave it to us no problem. Wife had the Korean fried chicken and she enjoyed it. Wife and son got a cheesecake to go. Our visit to Cheesecake Factory started off well, but one of our meals came out missing the chicken. Thankfully, the manager was very kind, quickly fixed the mistake, checked on us, and even handled our bill. Unfortunately, our server, Briana, never checked on our table after the food arrived. Our drinks stayed empty, we were never asked if everything was okay, and it was difficult to get her attention. We just walked in and sat immediately. The waiter, Andrew, though he had a few tables, came over to our table immediately, introduced himself and asked us if we wanted cocktails. I did tell him that alcohol was the most important part of my visit lol. What we ordered: Mai Tai JW's pink lemonade Ribeye steak Sausage, mushroom rigatoni Keylime cheesecake The Grace arrived fairly quickly, and they were delicious. While we were waiting for dinner, they served us a nice bread basket. Bread was fresh and good. Andrew, our server was very attentive and checking on us until the food arrived. Contrary to the name, I typically don't go for the cheesecake. I usually drop in when I'm in the area and want something tasty. Service has always been prompt and the food comes out within a respectable amount of time, even when they are busy. You can tell they promote a team mentality, because a member of management, Dawn, filled in for a bartender to give him a break. Now the food. I know this sounds strange, but they have some of the best Orange Chicken! It's sauced enough to inject a ton of flavor without being drowned in the typical gelatinous mixture. And each piece is super crispy and juicy! Another go-to is the Factory Chopped Salad! It's flavored with a vinaigrette dressing and won't weigh you down. First time trying the chicken taquitos and they did not disappoint! The one thing that bugs me is the lighting. The dark amber color distorts colors and shifts how you view things. One thing I will note is there is a slippery floor situation on the main area and not sure why. I know it wasn't just me as I overheard someone mention the same. I usually get the Factory combo with a portion of salmon and Madeira chicken option and was so bummed to learn they no longer offered it. My second go to is usually the chicken bellagio but opted out for the full order of Chicken Madeira instead. It was ok - came out a bit dry on the sauce so had to ask for more on the side . Our server graciously brought more and in supper grateful for it as it made the meal more bearable - but for $27.95? Nah. Despite the huge plate and pretty presentation, there isn't a lot on these chips. I wish there were some beans or meat protein - crab cakes - these were the worst. The creaminess of the possibly mayo base overpowered the crab in taste, texture and temperature. The whole thing was cold. It sogged up supposedly crispy rice cracker in the bottom. Plus you only get these 3 cream puffs sized bites - yet we still didn't finish them. Hard do not recommend! DRINKS - HAPY HOUR - Whiskey smash was tasty. Happy New Year! For my first review, it goes to Cheesecake Factory. A go to for great American cuisine and some tasty recipes taken from various cultures across the world. Per usual the service was great. Promptly seated in a nice booth. The place was thumping this evening, lots of patrons from the bar to the back of the restaurant. A word of caution however: be careful walking in there with wet shoes, their floor is terribly slippery. During my our visit I had their Spicy Ginger Beef and Fritzie had the Chicken Madeira. The Spicy Ginger Beef was underwhelming. Mostly soaking in a soy based sauced the beef tips were cooked a little too well. Some pieces were burnt and the vegetables lacked hardiness, a fullness as they felt overcooked, while Fritzie's Chicken Madeira was delicious as wells as the mashed potatoes that accompanied it. Her thought was--maybe leaving the oriental based foods which require soy sauces and certain techniques alone and stick to the tried and true. I do enjoy a good Chicken Bellagio. I may play around with the idea of getting their Chicken and Shrimp gumbo next time, but I'm not sure how that's going to go. I'd be tremendously disappointed if the seasoning and flavors of the gumbo didn't hit every note I'd expect but I digress. Just--expectations. Of course we had to go home with a slice of Tiramisu Cheesecake. Delicious. Period. Overall I'm willing to give the location another shot, just, not this dish. Maybe not during a busy evening rush where the cooks just want to get the play out. Maybe, not at all. Be sure to leave a review about your experience. We went to Cheesecake Factory for my granddaughter's ninth birthday. This is a tradition and she loves to go there. For appetizers, we ordered the fried zucchini and the crispy fried cheese. Both were amazing. The planks of zucchini are very big. and breaded very well, and the crispy fried cheese, which is mozzarella cheese, and fontina cheese, is a wedge, and you cut it open, and the cheese is just melting everywhere. Very good. For our entrees, I ordered the Chicken Katsu bowl, which is a new item. It is crispy chicken with teriyaki glaze, edamame, mushrooms, cucumber, and sesame seeds. You can also choose white or brown rice. This was very good. The sauce had a little bit of a bite, but it just added flavor. Another person ordered the carnitas bowl, which is pork with rice, beans, poblano chili, roasted corn salsa, sour cream, guacamole, and tortillas. This was extremely spicy, and the person that ordered it likes spice, but could not eat it. So we did have that remove from our bill, unfortunately. The kids shared a regular serving of bowtie pasta with alfredo sauce and chicken. As usual, they clean the plate. We split it between 2 children, and it is plenty for them. My daughter ordered the chicken Romano, which is a breast of chicken with Romano, Parmesan, cheese crust, and it's served with pasta in a light tomato sauce. This is one of her favorite dishes, and she orders it quite frequently as it's very good. For dessert, we ordered strawberry shortcake, and key lime cheesecake. The key lime cheesecake was for the birthday girl, and she finished it probably within three minutes. It went very quickly. I ordered a slice of carrot cake to go, and I have that sitting in the refrigerator, just taking a few bites here and there, trying to savor it. Overall, it was a great experience with a very good server. And, of course, it was busy, even for a Sunday evening at about 7:30. read more

I normally despise chain restaurants, but Cheesecake Factory really surprised me with the consistency and yumminess of their dishes! The fried mac and cheese balls were so cheesy and had the perfect crust to cheese ratio. My mushroom appetizers were juicy and flavorful, with a delicious mushroom sauce I used to dip some bread in. I enjoyed my thai chicken salad, it was such a big salad I had leftovers for the next day. I tried my partners pasta dish and I really liked the sauce it surprised me with some flavor. The only issues were the service was incredibly slow and the drinks were not creative or interesting (but I don't drink much so not a big issue for me mainly for the people I was with). I never expected to be wowed, but if you're looking for big hearty portions and good consistency (while nothing we had was the best thing I've ever eaten or particularly interesting, nothing was bad it was all solid and well cooked) then this is your spot! We hit up the Cheesecake Factory for lunch. We were seated at one of their two-seat tables and it was a bit tight for my husband. Their were larger ones available since it was middle of the week so we ask for one of those. My suggestion for the hostess: if you have tall people come in give them a larger table, they need the leg room. I understand they prefer to fill the smaller tables first but it is not comfortable for taller patrons. The Server was very nice and polite, I wish I would have got her name but she was running around doing her job. My husband got the Shepherds Pie and I got the Fish Tacos. I was very happy that she allowed me to get a different side, so I got a small salad. For that reason, I would eat here again. I saw several reviews on under-cooked chicken that I was afraid to order it. And the bad thing was, most of the menu included chicken. Both of our orders were good. My tacos were cold and that was not the best. We enjoyed the bread basket too. We did not get the cheesecake but we can always pick up a slice when at the mall. The food came out shortly after we ordered so the wait was not that long. Overall we were happy with out meals. Hope to try something else next time. Went for a lunch with friends and we had a great meal there and we had a nice, pleasant time! They have such a huge offering of items on their menu, so many choices. I ordered the lunch miso salmon and it was a healthy and tasty entree. The salmon was cooked perfectly, as was the rice. Just wish there were more snow peas given as I love veggies and there weren't very many on the plated dish. Only 5 snow pea pieces that would cost so little, compared to the $20 dish price. Though the miso sauce flavor makes it truly one of my favorites there. My friends enjoyed the fish tacos, mac and cheese and veggie burger that they ordered. Had a bite of the Mac and cheese and it was velvety cheesy and delicious. The service was nice and attentive too. And also one of us order the Korean cauliflower. That was definitely tasty. I didn't expect such flavorful cauliflower. I might order that next time. I had the happy hour burger. It was a regular size burger with lettuce and pickles on the side. Not a pizza burger. But it was a burger. They could've added a couple of fries or two or three or four. Since fries do not cost anything. Maybe a little tomato, and onion, and one of us ordered sliders, which he got four pretty good size sliders, but it was just the beef and the bun. Lettuce and pickles were on the side. Which that is what sliders are actually. I do love their happy hour. They do have a variety of small bites and other items on their happy hour, which they're seating is in the bar for happy hour. Then of course there's always a slice of cheesecake at $11-$13 a slice. A friend of ours chose one slice to go. Overall, it was a nice experience since I was able to spend it with my friends. Our waitress Carley was fabulous. Very attentive, always smiling, great personality, and just a joy to have as our server. And so cute. Celebrating three birthdays so we of course chose the Cheesecake Factory. I called for a reservation but this evening it would not have been needed as it was not very busy. We were happy to be seated in the bar area because we were there during happy hour and enjoyed the happy hour menu. We ordered the chicken nacho platter and my gosh we almost ordered two but one was more than enough for eight people. Big chunks of chicken and chips, sour cream, salsa, guacamole, absolutely mouth watering. We had a multitude of drinks and dishes but the favorite I think was a fettuccine Alfredo, a heaping pile of pasta and sauce which can be purchased with chicken or shrimp added. The chicken potstickers were beautifully arranged, a bit salty but I believe that is normal and very garlicky. We also tried the buffalo chicken sandwich which is very, very tasty, the margarita pizza, the massive happy hour cheeseburger and the chicken sandwich. We received complimentary Sundaes for the birthday celebrators and had a piece of salted caramel cheesecake to share. The food was delicious, the service was good, we enjoyed the quieter atmosphere so we could talk, the basketball game was on so it was a very delightful evening. We will go back sooner than later. Great food and a good server. We sat outside on a beautiful day. The only reason not 5 stars is this place is expensive... but they are so consistent I am not mad about it. Cocktails should not cost as much or more than a main dish tho. read more

This is a regular restaurant that I frequent . I find the service very personable, hostess are very friendly and usually table is ready with reservations. Servers Ray, Chad, Myra, Mia, and Clayton are always spot on. Though all of the staff is really good at what they do. Eating light I enjoyed the Bee Sting flatbread and Sweet corn Tamale Cakes. Then shared a piece of amazing Tuxedo Cheesecake. Great place for casual and special occasions. Taste-full and comfortable seating. Great happy hour menu Monday thru Friday between 4-6pm read more

We had a pretty good experience! Came on a Tuesday evening and we were seated promptly. Our server was very busy. He made sure we were taken care of with drinks and food but didn't check on us much. My husband and I split the jambalaya pasta and our daughter had the orange chicken. Everything was alright! The orange chicken was just barely warm and the pasta was actually lacking a bit of zest and flavor. The pasta is my favorite dish so I'm pretty accustomed to how it normally tastes. We also had the Oreo cheesecake as well as the traditional with strawberry's. Those were great! Restaurant was busy but not too loud. Overall, not a bad experience.. but we've had slightly better. It won't keep us away though, we'll be back and I would take friends or family as well. read more

On December 21st, 2025, our whole family headed to Cheesecake Factory for brunch. When we arrived at the restaurant, it was surprisingly slow, so our 5-person party was immediately at one of their larger booths. Our server appeared soon to take our drink and appetizer orders (fried calamari and the Thai Chili shrimp). For our entrees, we ordered Chicken-and-Waffles, Cinnamon roll pancake, The Club sandwich and 2 separate orders of their Cuban sandwich (one with regular fries, one with sweet potato fries). The wait time was very minimal, our appetizers arrived at our table, and when we were half-way through our appetizers, our entrees were delivered to our table. I copied my brother-in-law's order and ordered the Cuban sandwich; it is undoubtedly one of the best items on their menu. The carnitas in the Cuban sandwich was exceptional! I would like to request that they create a plain carnitas Cuban sandwich because the way they cooked that pork was money! I'd order that every time I go there. My other table-mates enjoyed their meals except for my niece who ordered the cinnamon roll pancake; she didn't like it s and could only eat a few bites because she found the dish too sweet. Aside from that, the hostesses, busser, our server were all pleasant and attentive (but I forgot our server's name). One criticism we have is with the attendant at the cheesecake counter; we stopped by after our meal, intending to buy a gift card but the heavy-set woman behind the counter just ignored us, so we left empty-handed-- that employee needs to be retrained, if she is busy doing another task, she should have acknowledged us and let us know it'll be a minute because she's doing something else; manage customer's expectations. Most of us have had customer-facing work experience and yes, I understand you don't feel like dealing with people sometimes; if that was the case, then she should have asked a supervisor for help, there were a few of them at nearby stations.
