Stopped in for the lunch buffet and thought it was a pretty good value, especially with the included salad bar. I was impressed by the variety of greens, veggies, toppings, and dressings, and it was a nice surprise to see desserts like pudding and fruit available too. (plus a dessert pizza) The biggest downside was the pizza selection. There weren't many options out, and I was disappointed by how long it took for a pepperoni pizza to make it to the buffet, even after asking about it. Since there was still close to an hour left before the buffet ended, I expected the selection to be a little more consistent. As for the food itself, everything was solid and satisfying. Customer service was great, food was not good :/ We had an issue where we ordered delivery, the delivery charge was moderate. It took over an hour and we called, they told us that they don't have the staff to do their own deliveries so it's through door dash. They had just picked up the order and should be delivering any minute is what they said. Another 30 mins go by so we called again and even tho we understand it's out of their hands, at that point they didn't know what was going on, our food was still not delivered, no way to reach the driver. I asked them to remake it and we can come pick it up ourselves. And they did that for us and were very understanding! The food it's self: we ordered 2 flavors of boneless wings and wedges. The wedges were good, but the boneless wings were cold and chewy in the middle :/. So all in all I wouldn't eat here again, and wouldn't really recommend it others according to our experience, but they had great customer service which is why they got 3 stars! read more

But alas, the Reno community is lucky that Pizza Factory on Lakeside is still offering the lunch deal... for $12.50! Meet Vera and George, owners of this storefront and another in Spanish Springs. Friendly smiles, helpful attitudes and watch him throw that dough! There is a Kids Korner Arcade area, a separate section with several bar-height tables for adults to enjoy beverages and watch the game and a Private Room with seating for about 30 to use for special occasions. This place has finally convinced me to never ever pre tip on an order and also taught me to always check the food at a buffet BEFORE you spend 20 bucks on food/drink/pre tip. This place is next to the Ben's on Lakeside. I was looking for a quick bite for lunch and hey, a pizza buffet means not waiting for pizza....usually. Anyway, 3 people in the whole place and 3 employees. Still had to wait 5 minutes to get my order taken. Then we get to the buffet. I was greeted by 2 half eaten old pizzas, one of which was a Hawaiian pizza where someone didn't care for the pineapple and left a nice pile of them on the pan. Pizza was dry, warm and just a tad overcooked. Lovely Attempted the salad bar, which gave me some nostalgia because I haven't seen such a mess of a salad bar since maybe back when Wendy's was still in business, they even had the Reysers potato salad. I went simple with just some lettuce, cucumber and tomato because the rest of it looked very sketchy and I didn't want to add a possible food borne illness to my day. Even then, I couldn't manage more than 2 bites because the cucumber was at least 2 days old and bitter. They did manage to push out one more pizza just as I was leaving. I can't imagine how bad it must be in there when it is actually busy. This place is now in my top 3 worst places to eat in Reno. No easy feat. read more

2/8/26 Ordered a simple pepperoni pizza with extra cheese and cooked well done. The pizza came out doughy, not even close cooked well done and no extra cheese on it like I asked. The owner, who I presumed made and cooked it, asked if it was cooked long enough. I said no and there was no extra cheese like I asked. He just said sorry and walked away, like oh well I still got your money. I'll find a place to eat since they can't follow simple directions. My fiance and I really do enjoy there pizza. However, due to the service that has been received five times out of the six that we have been there in the last two years, we will not be returning back. We do not live close to this location. When we order pizza, we order in advance. Five out of the six times that either myself or my fiance picked up from this location, the pizza is never ready by the time that is stated in our emails. Even on several occasions where we have been later than the time expressed in the email, the pizza still was not ready. Today however is where I even drew the line. I understand that things happen (pizza ends up burnt, lack of staff, oven goes down, etc.). It is however not acceptable that the crew on the evening of 11/26/25 after 5:54 PM, not only asked my fiance if he could wait ten additional minutes but after the ten minutes, was asked to wait longer. On top of it (and the reason we will not be returning) is that there staff had to ask my fiance what was ordered because the receipt for the order was in the garbage. A tall, dark haired employee with a brown headband with teddy bear ears pulled the receipt with our order out of the garbage, brought it over to my fiance and confirmed that it was our order. For an order that was supposed to be ready by 5:54 pm, my fiance did not walk out of the building till 6:32 pm. Unprofessional, unappreciated, unhygienic and due to our orders constantly being late is the reason why this location has lost our business. read more

Pizza is a real treat for our family, and always been happy to drive a short way to pick up a good pizza. This is not ment as a bad review, however more of a review in which I'm sure the new owners would benefit from. I ordered on line 3 pizzas on line. Two large and one small. My order would be ready by 12:10 PM. When I arrived a few min early, I waited for quite some time at the front register with no acknowledgement or a nod for along time with another woman waiting anxiously. When the gentleman owner came to the register and looked into my order and said it would be another 10-15 min. Ok. I went out and walked my dog, hung out a good 20 min to go back in and wait another 20ish min. I'm not an impatient person I do not get upset easily, Owner #2, wife, apologized and offered me something to drink while I waited and checked on my order. I declined a drink, but that was thoughtful of her. A few minutes pass I then see her run past me to what looked like an office and brought me a coupon for a free pizza with 3 toppings. Wow, I never expected that. Very kind of her. Pizza is done and I drive home and feed two large pizzas for lunch to workers at my home. The 3rd small pizza was for my husband after his long day out. Close to 5:00 I open the small pizza and discover a medium pizza entirely a different order . Of which we would not choose this sort of combination. I call Pizza Factory and explained, I took a photo of the pizza, they offered to make my pizza in 15 min so I went down to pick it up for my starving husband who would be home shortly. The order was correct. So someone didn't get their order. While the gentleman owner apologized again to me on my return , I felt so bad for all 6 people working so hard and to be in such overwhelm. I did leave them a $10 tip. I do agree the pizza needs a bit longer to cook. I know they are working really hard and they are overworked in their new adventure. I wish them the best and hope maybe they can seek help from someone experienced in the business. They deserve to have a good run with their new business. So let's all be patient with them and offer support and kind suggestions. Everyone deserves a chance. Lessoned learned here....staff can open each pizza to confirm the order, as should I. Their AYCE Pizza Buffet sign is what caught my eye when I was driving around the neighborhood. I called to inquire about pricing and I happened to spoke to Vera, the owner. She was pleasant to talk to on the phone and she informed me that it was $10.99 per person and it includes pizza, salad, fries, and dessert. Fast forward to a week later my husband, 3yr old son, and myself popped by to check it out. The food was very enjoyable. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. I really like their pizza selection and it had a great variety of choices. I liked their crust on the pizza and it was definitely loaded with cheese and other ingredients. Their salad bar was also clean and the veggies looked bright and fresh. I also very much enjoyed their dessert which was a cinnamon glazed breadsticks. It's also cool that they have automated beer dispensers. What I also liked about this place is that the owner goes to every single table and talks to them. I had the pleasure to meet Vera in person. She had told me that she recently bought this place about a month ago and her goal was to create a place where the community can come enjoy themselves. She also told me that everything they make in house is fresh and made from scratch and that she only buys quality ingredients in which it definitely shows in their pizzas! I was visiting from the Bay Area and decided to stop by Pizza Factory with my 2- and 6-year-old after reading their Yelp reviews and seeing that they've been around for over 40 years. Their "heart of your hometown" message made it sound like a warm, family-friendly spot, exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, my experience didn't live up to that promise. I waited about 30 minutes before checking on my order, only to be told they were just about to start making it. The place wasn't busy, so I can only assume my order was forgotten. After another 10+ minutes, the pizza finally came out (to go), even though it was clear my kids and I were sitting at a booth waiting to eat there. They did offer a chocolate chip cookie as an apology, which I appreciated, but it didn't make up for the long delay. The pizza itself was okay, nothing special, and definitely not worth the wait. I really wanted to like this place, but next time I'll probably just stick with Round Table. read more

We just had our daughters 6th birthday here. What a fun experience. The kids were each given a mini pizza dough and got to decorate their own pizza. The pizzas were baked and then the kids ate them. We ordered a small cheese pizza and bread sticks for the girls and chicken wings and a medium thick-crust meat pizza for us ($62). Our order was takeout. The issue was we ordered a thick-crust pizza with extra sauce. I was a little concerned since the cashier didn't write anything down. I restated what I wanted and she nodded. I came walking from an internship I had while exhausted and starving, and just wandered in seeing what they had. they have a salad bar, deals everyday, and buffets for only 13$!! I got a mini BBQ chicken pizza and cinnamon bread sticks and the lady that served me was so kind!! She even wrote nice messages on my boxes and allowed me to have as much icing as I wanted and didn't judge at all :,) I am definitely coming back and recommend this place way more than others. read more

We arrived for the weekday buffet. At first the pizza was stale and old but the manager offered to make new pizza in place of our choice we asked for a white sauce pizza and it was fantastic. The service seems to be slow at times but it matches the amount of people in the restaurant since there wasn't much. The manager was extremely kind and tried her best to help the best she could. I have to comment on the service for Pizza Factory...Junior absolutely exceeded our service experience. Our DoorDash driver could not find our location so he gave up. Junior went ahead and took over by remaking our pizza and delivering it himself. and gave us a complimentary pizza cookie. This boy deserves a raise! read more

I had a major craving for spaghetti with meatballs and it just doesn't hit the same when I make it at home. The challenge was finding a place that doesn't make it with pork. I called Pizza Factory ahead of time and they told me they didn't so I figured why not try it. I ordered that and the Greek salad over the phone and was told it would be ready in 25 minutes. I arrived after 15 figuring I might have to wait in the restaurant a little bit. The cashier was super nice and welcoming and my food was already done! It was super fresh because I could feel the heat emanating from the bag that contained the spaghetti. It was still warm by the time I got home which was a 20 minute drive. Everything was delicious. The spaghetti satisfied my craving and the Greek salad was excellent. The portions were appropriate given the price and I even had some leftover spaghetti. I obviously can't speak for the pizza but if the spaghetti and salad were good I can only imagine their main dish is just as good if not better. I saw a sign outside that said the restaurant was under new management. I don't know what it was like before but they're currently well on their way to being great! I'll definitely be back, if not for the pizza, then definitely the spaghetti the next time I get a hankering for it. read more

The staff was very accommodating.. We were fortunate enough to also meet the owners who were extremely pleasant and welcoming. I was pleased they had gluten free options which is rare in rural areas.
