Swinging by on a winter's eve, I was lured by the friendliness and overall good rep of this place. Thrilled that the franchise has finally added a skinnier menu, and a generous one at that. I ordered the pear endive salad and paired it with mint tea. My other guests ordered chicken teriyaki and the other stuffed mushrooms. Wasn't thrilled with the butterflied uncut chicken breast on the teriyaki dish. The mushrooms were 5 to a plate, small but tasty. Be careful on the floors, even in my sneakers they were slippery. The refill of our iced teas was done wrong. We got the regular iced teas instead of mint. Also, the servers rush around, not exactly giving you room to maneuver. We were seated near the kitchen, so this did not make for a pleasant experience. Also, we overheard the servers conversations and they said some negative things about guests--obviously not aware that they were in earshot of guests. First of all, the menu at Cheesecake Factory is mind-boggling. So many great foods to choose from, but including things that are healthy and lunch sized. Decor is classic Cheesecake Factory, with wide aisles and spacious ceilings, the only downside being the level of noise. I chose a green salad followed by the shrimp with angel hair pasta. Both were absolutely excellent! The large unsweetened iced tea was nicely made and clear, so different from the murky made from mix drinks at other eateries. Service was outstanding, and attentive but never intrusive. I just wished that Cheesecake Factory weren't so noisy. read more

Okay for dinner / lunch, but will NEVER be back for brunch. Was there today around noon for brunch. The waitress and manager were dealing with an upset table if 8 next to us so it took us 15 minutes for anyone to even come take our order. Once our order was taken (an omelette and pancakes), it took an HOUR for the omelette to come out. They made some excuse about burning the pancakes and said they were making new ones. 20 minutes later, we told them to forget it and asked for the check. At this point, the manager came over and apologized and said he would remove the pancakes from the check. I told him "considering we didn't get the pancakes, why WOULD they be on the check?" After prompting him to do more by telling him removing something from the check that we didn't get anyway was not fixing the issue, he said he would take the omelette off as well. Oh wow, thank you so much kind sir - I'm glad I came up with that brilliant idea. Also, our omelette was gross and clearly made with powdered eggs. The omelette came out as just that - on omelette. The food was absolutely horrendous. Chicken tasted weird, rice was uncooked. Found pasta in my food, bugs flying around.

Salmon was cooked well but herbs were burnt, the lemon sauce on it was way to lemony and unbalanced. Chicken was dry and sauce was really sweet. Mash potatoes would have been good if they put ANY salt or if they were warm. The filet was ordered medium and came damn near beef jerky. No flavor at all. Just burnt which made it really bitter. The dynamite shrimp werent bad but nothing special. The drinks had way too much sour and were unbalanced as well. 135 bucks for disgusting food and drinks. Highly disappointed. Only giving two stars because our waiter was super nice and attentive. Also the drinks and food came out quick. Will never come back EVER. The only reason we keep coming back in Kendall. He is a best waiter. He brought me the hottest bread in the kitchen. He gave me a warm smile and love every time our eyes met. Ten minutes was the wait we were estimated by the host and were given the little hand held that buzzes when the table available. We literally stepped out less than 4 minutes to drop off our shopping bags. We ended up waiting 30 minutes because their handheld didn't buzz. Started off with the warm bread they provide. Highly prefer the brown bread, I just love it with some butter. I got the veggie melt sandwhich with French fries and a side of mayo. The waiter mistakenly brought white rice as my side instead of the fries but had no problem bring my the fries I ordered. He also accommodated me when I asked for some olives and mushrooms in my sandwich. This is a 'new item' on the menu so the chefs are still getting adjusted apparently. We were a party of seven. Some came from experiencing the Hackensack Cheesecake Factory and the Hackensack franchise was much better. Food came undercooked and cold in the middle. We went to have a quick bite and came back at 5PM to find out that they opened at 4:30 and there would be a 40 minute wait. When asked to speak to the manager he matter of factly said that even though one of his employees gave the wrong info there was nothing he could do with the wait and walked away. What happened to customer service? So sad when small mom and pops who really care about customers are going out of business while this establishment who has loyal customers couldn't care less. Seating was available almost immediately. Our server was okay. He tried to joke a little at the end but was not very attentive at the beginning and during the meal. I aske for water with no lemon and he brought it back with lemon. The water tasted a little funny to me so I got a strawberry lemonade with lite ice. When that came back it was a ton of ice. Wow you might need a part time job to afford a meal here! Prices were very high for the type of food and service we received last night. Plan was to just order app then some cheesecake. Most apps were 12-18 bucks. Most of them were 16.95. At that price point I choose a good dish I have gotten before orange chicken. I was the last plate of food to a 4 tip and received ice cold rock hard chicken with no sauce. Zero taste of orange. I took one bite and the plate sat there. I just planed you take home and not make a scene. I had some sauce at home to save the dish. Waiter noticed and I did not say anything to him. Next a manager arrived. (Did not ask for one) and gave me every excuse in the book. Never offering me once to Change my dish. One other dish at the table was described very spicy dish. This busy and noisy restaurant offers a wide variety of options for those who are willing to wait. I had the Jamaican Black Pepper Shrimp. As advertised, it is vey spicy but not very tasty. Another successful trip to the Cheesecake Factory, this time in anew state. We arrived late night and were immediately seated. We were celebrating a birthday. Our server, David, was the absolute best. Joked playfully with my kids and was on point making sure we had everything we needed including refills and correcting an order when it came out wrong. By the end of it all we were too stuffed to even order cake but we had a good time and I'm happy that The Cheesecake Factory upholds it's standards across state lines. read more

The wait to be seated was an hour. The server was super nice and was constantly coming over to check on us. We ordered nachos with chicken. They were delicious however they could use more chicken especially for the price. The food took a while to come out and some of the dishes were cold. I had the baby baby chicken & shrimp...was not impressed. The rice was hard and dry and the sauce was to sweet. It was loaded with coconut. The steak and salmon was on the small side. I went there for a quick bite with my friends to catch up and have great food. I had been meaning to go to Cheesecake Factory for awhile and did not regret it. I am still thinking about those tacos! Honestly the only reason I am leaving a review was because the server was awesome! It's rare you get exceptional service especially at a chain resturant but I was very pleased with this young man attentiveness! It was about 10pm when the wife and I decided to order food from Cheesecake Factory. We usually eat in but becuz it was so late we decided to order out. We called to order and the woman on the phone said 25 mins. I got there 35 min later and it turned out they just put my order in. I waited over an hr for my food. Instead of being apologetic for her mishap she was angry and rude with me. Her explanation was that a bunch of orders came in at same time and I forgot to put yours in. Tried to make a reservation online. I DO NOT want to be a Rewards Member... I just want to go eat. I have previously made a reservation online and it worked fine. The week before that fine. I called the restaurant and said I just want to make a reservation not buy a gift card not become a rewards or anything else and it will no longer allow you to make an online reservation without joining. I ordered the orange chicken. It came out cold. I waited ten minutes for the waitress to come back to the table so that I could ask her to heat it up. She took it to the back and five minutes later came back and it was still cold. I just left it. Then we ordered a tiramisu and she brought out a tiramisu cheese cake.
