Every time I go in, they never have apple danish rings left but this time I was in luck. Absolutely delicious. I also tried 3 different sandwiches this time. The typical Italian sub w ham, salami and provolone. I did want banana peppers on it but they said they don't carry those. I chose it on the semolina bread. It was fantastic. I also ordered the hot roast beef sub. It came with mushrooms onions and cheese topped with gravy. The gravy was absolutely delicious but the roast beef was ok. I also ordered the chicken parm with the vodka arrabiata sauce. It was absolutely amazing. The only thing I don't love about that place is the way the lines are set up. When it's busy, you can't just place your order and keep going down the line to add it all onto one order. I had to pay 3 separate times, which is annoying. There didn't seem to be a flow with the direction of the lines. They were a little bit all over the place.

She was highly recommended from an acquaintence. The theme was "2 sweet" I had sent her 2 photos for inspiration for an idea of what I wanted. I felt like I was an easy customer. I picked up the cake and I remember her finger nails looked dirty but I just thought it was from the cakes. At my initial first look of the cake, I liked it. I left it out in the shade, it was an outside party. When I looked at the cake, my daughter's name looked like it was slapped on by a child and the top fondant swirl on top was uneven. No big deal... When I finally cut into the cake, it was very hard and seemed very dry right away. Not a typical moist cake. I honestly had no desire to even taste it and felt bad distributing it out. I had asked a few people how they liked it and they even said it was dry but the icing and everything else was good. I think they tried to be nice. I messaged SJ telling her I was not happy with it and even my guests felt the same. She was speechless and her feelings were hurt that I didn't like the cake. When she asked what she can do, I told her I wanted 50% off. Since most of it went in the garbage too. She eventually became very defensive and blamed me and saying something about the butter and how it didn't melt in the shade or how I should've left it out longer..? Which I never heard of and also saying she uses fresh ingredients and all her cakes are fresh and she puts in a lot of time into each of her cakes. I do believe her so I don't understand why I felt my cake was so hard and dry. Her husband even messaged me too. I even showed her screen shots of what my guests said and how they agreed that the cake was very dry. She didn't like that I sent her what my guests said. Brownie was not particularly dense or chocolatey despite the inclusion of chocolate chips. It was a brownie, not cake, but my mom and I can both bake like this just fine. Not worth it. * Cake cup: I got the vanilla one. Maybe I should have done Oreo, but this was also rather light and expensive for what you get. I never felt like I had a solid base - more cream than cake, or just cake too fluffy to establish itself. The taste was mostly frosting, and I can't say icing because it wasn't all that dense. Verdict: For $10 I will hold my money and get better value at any number of other places. Oh well.
