My friend reccomended this joint to me saying the food is flavorful and at a great price. I went for the shawarma over rice and got the beef over rice. It was very generous for the price. I spent about 14 dollars but got plenty of proteins, which so many restaurants seem to skimp on! It came with plenty of rice and a little bit of salad. A hidden location is no big deal for a delivery restaurant. But I recommend eating their stuff straight off the grill right in their restaurant. So you actually want to find this place and go inside. It will be totally worth the effort. * * * Cheesy Bite is a halal re-think of both American and Pakistani snack food. Halal is automatically a good thing in a fun food place ... Because that means the meat is of superior quality. But it is the originality of the chef's recipes that make this a mega-winner. You will find pizza combinations you have never had before Burger combinations you have never had before Intriguing looking paratha rolls And all sorts of things on French Fries that you don't usually see put on French Fries. * * * Nachos are stuck over on one side of the menu. I personally recommend that you give those nachos a serious look. Cheesy Bite literally has the most interesting nachos in Central Texas. They start with halal meat. Add to that the fact that this dish is absolutely positively massive. You could feed four people with this one tray of nachos. As I write this, I want to go back and order it again. * * * They also do a lot of "on rice"s which is literally whatever meat they have in the house, sauced and on rice. Marinated vegetables on the side. I've had the lamb gyro version. I could eat that dish all day and all night. * * * I have not had their pizzas - which is the house claim to fierce originality. I did a pick up order at Cheesy Bite. Don't fight me because I forgot to get photos. The kids dove into the pizza as soon as it arrived. I ordered one Detroit style pizza with pepperoni and pineapple. One medium pan with pepperoni. I also ordered the lamb Shawarma Wrap. The wrap was so big, I was able to save some for later. Again, I'm kicking myself for no photos, because everything was amazing. The customer service was great as well. I opted to call the order in and they were very helpful explaining and answering all of my questions. The food was done on time, I was able to walk in and pick. The most unique pizza I have ever had. I'll start with the different crust options. You can get every pizza, thin, gluten-free, regular, deep dish, or puff pastry! We tried the garlic, shrimp, the barbecue meats, the chicken, tikka masala, and the cheesy bite pizzas. They were all excellent! The puff pastry crust was so light and airy. It was a cross between a croissant and a crispy wafer. My favorite part of the dining experience was that I had no idea what the pizza was going to taste like until I tried it. Ordered: sweet chili wings, honey bbq wings, garlic cheese bread and fries. First the good: the food was made quickly, ready to go when we got there. The fries got a little soggy by the time we got home (which was expected) but after putting in the air fryer and then they were perfect, the wings were meaty and very good. The bad: we didn't get the ranch we paid for (my mom ordered from her phone and I picked it up so I didn't realize it should have been included). Second the honey bbq didn't taste like bbq at all and was spicier than the sweet chili. Maybe they made the wrong kind (they didn't look like a bbq sauce) or what we expected was just different. It was good but not what we wanted flavor wise. Overall the food was good. I'd order wings and fries again. The quality and price were both good. I think we'll try pizza next time too. read more

This place has so much potential, but falls flat at least when it comes to the pizzas. If I was to guess, the pizza dough that they use is a pre-made frozen dough from a company called Rich's which is just a horrible product. None the less, the dough is terrible.....Then you get to the toppings and none of the flavors pop. The flavors are very one dimensional and just end up being very bland. Crust mimicked Pizza Hut's pan pizza but wasn't as greasy. Pizza sauce was flavorful and the pizza was just good overall. We also ordered chicken wings (sweet chili and buffalo) and they were hot (just cooked) and very saucy. They tasted wonderful. We were gifted the chicken over rice and gyro over rice and OMG we will be going back for more. It was amazing!!! The Cheesy Bite is a new, unassuming spot in Pflugerville that is actually legit. It's hidden behind a large car wash business that unfortunately obscures the view of the other shops in the plaza...which aside from Cheesy Bite and a donut shop are empty and for lease atm. Yes, the interior and their website could use some work and better design choices, but their food...it's actually pretty great! They offer a TON of items on their menu...from creative pizzas to shawarma to desserts and other offerings. I'd describe the place as a Mediterranean Indian fusion restaurant that specializes in unique pizzas lol. Generally it's a red flag when you see a place with such a vast plethora on the menu, but Cheesy Bite actually delivers! Our food was ready for pickup in 20min; service was friendly. We got their lemon pepper wings and a premium Chicken and Pineapple Pizza on puff pastry--yes puff pastry! The wings were good, but definitely would have benefitted if eaten fresh rather than sitting in the to-go box on the drive back for 15 minutes. 50% of the crisp was still there, but the other half was lost. The pizza was the real star though! It's a loaded one; packed with fresh, delicious toppings! And that puff pastry crust...wow didn't realize this would be a thing, but it is in fact, the real deal...an unexpected match made in heaven! I'm local, so I keep coming back. Hear me out, the food is good, it's not bad at all. Here's the problem: fire all of your staff and figure out how to track orders. I don't even know how to tell you to have a successful, timely order. If you call, they can't hear you or speak English very well. So it is a bad time. If you order online, like I did last time ,the site is trash, the pictures don't reflect the items. You also, cannot select a 2 liter of soda, from the website. It seems that, every time someone orders, the order gets lost in cyber space. Every time I come in, it's like they are hearing about your order for the first time, and then.. they make it on the spot! My last order (#670) on Friday night, I ordered $73 worth of food on the website. I came in, and it was such a shit show I just sat down and stared at my phone. Eventually someone asked "what did you order?" And I showed them on my phone, the order that (never changed status by the way. Always said pending) and he sounded like it was the first time they ever saw my order. Many folks wandered in and stood at the register confused, confused why there is so many people sitting down and not getting their orders taken care of. I ordered at 8:24pm, I walked out with my food at 9:15pm. Almost 60 minutes. I genuinely don't know how to tell you to order, to have a better experience. Website sucks, phone calls bad, in person also a nightmare. When you eventually get to the food though, it's great. The only item I have been disappointed so far, is the "zinger burger" which is just a sloppy chicken sandwich. It was rubbery? When I went to leave, I said yes I got a sprite.. it was $1.75. He tried handing me a can.. I said no dude, I wanted a 2 liter but your website wouldn't let me. Why would I spend $73 online and then get a can of soda? Figure it out guys. This new pizza place is next to L&L donuts in Pflugerville. I ordered a large cheese pizza ($9.99) a large pepperoni pizza ($9.99) and a medium puff pastry pepperoni pizza ($5-$6). The large pizza crust (pan I think) reminded me of gattis pizza but a little better. Same thickness. The puff pastry pizza...I didn't try it until a few hours after I brought it home. It was ok. Not something that I'd buy again. It's a super flaky crust. Kind of like baklava. I wasn't a fan but my kiddos were. The pizza was decent overall. I also bought the Jeni's ice cream once I went in to pick up my order. The ice cream was pretty good. My kids loved it. We tried two flavors. The gooey butter cake and honey vanilla bean. They were a bit on the sweet, rich side. I like the place for the price. It's not the best pizza but they made them with a good amount of cheese and less sauce which is my preference. I'd definitely go back. The service was lacking luster. No one greeted me. I stood there for a few minutes before anyone really initiated a conversation on why I was there. That was disappointing. A woman in front of me was being helped, signing her payment receipt. A family was walking out when I walked in. There were more staff members on the floor working then customers in the restaurant at that time. They weren't busy at all! After helping the lady in front of me they walked off from the register and gathered to go orders at the end of the cabinet. I thought I was invisible for a moment. The place looked clean and organized. I didn't see a fountain for drinks. They did have a fridge with drinks, your common sodas. Nothing fancy. I'd visit again.
