It was placed in a lovely toasted bun which was filled with beans (pinto-not refried) and topped with onion, tomato, mayo and spicy jalapeno sauce. It was served with a roasted Hungarian yellow pepper. I never could have imagined how well this all works together at all! But boy, oh boy, it works!!!!!!!!!! I think we got 3 Sonoran dogs, 2 Mexican cokes for under ten dollars. He even mentioned he does a lot of catering for big parties. Two different hot sauces were on the table. Plenty of napkins, plastic silverware, horchata, Mexican bottled beverages, chips, etc. There was a language barrier which made me wonder if I missed out on some menu items like the yellow bacon chili previously mentioned. And the mushroom and cheese that was on a fellow diners order. I need to get down with my ordering protocol.
