    Cheezy Birria Tacos

I usually always get the Sonoran Dog or cheesy tacos, but I tried the ugly quesadilla on my last visit and it was fantastic. The quesadilla was stuffed with birria and cheese (delicious, and the onions, cilantro and sour cream were the perfect toppings. I'll definitely be adding this to my Monster rotation.

I stumbled upon this place while visiting a different establishment within the American eatery company and it did not disappoint. I ended up just ordering a hotdog to go and I absolutely loved it. It was so full of taste and freshly made taste very authentic. You might think it's spicy because the hotdog bread is I believe made out of hot Cheetos. It is not spicy. It's perfect. A must. I can't wait to try all the other items on their menu. Staff is super friendly which is always a plus. And well like i mention it's inside AEC So its a very pleasant place

Food was great, service was too. The cashier was nice and brought us our food. I ordered the ugly quesadilla, which had birria and cheese, topped with drizzled sour cream, onions, and cilantro. At first, I was disappointed with the size, but it was actually perfect. The price matched as well.

This place is located inside the shared space of American Eat Co. as I walked in I saw a table with some amazing looking tots. I asked where they got it and they said Monster Sonoran Hot Dogs. I ordered the monster tots, my friend ordered the monster fries and Arizona Twinkie. The food was fresh and tasty. I will be back!

We've been coming to Monster Sonoran Hot Dogs for quite a while now, so I guess it's time I left a review. This restaurant is staged at American Eat Co. and offers a variety of great food. We mainly come for the birria tacos and Sonoran dogs. Both are amazing and aren't too harsh on the billfold. The service is always great as well, ZERO COMPLAINTS! If you haven't already checked this restaurant out, make it a point to! Two thumbs and two toes waaaay up for this restaurant. Happy eating, my foodies!

This is one of the funnest twists on a Sonoran dog you can get, they have a RED bun and you can get the loaded monster dog that's a foot long, they also have one with hot Cheetos on top or you can get the regular size! Birria Taco Dirty Dog Monster Hotdog Monster Sonoran Dog

Come for the hot dogs, stay for the birria! What can I say- birria ramen, grilled cheese, cheesy tacos, eggrolls, and so much more stuffed to the brim with their saucy birria and ooey gooey cheese!

Monster Sonoran Hot Dogs has some cool items on their menu! Some notable options are the birria hot dog and monster Takis. I opted for the footlong Sonoran hot dog. The Sonoran hot dog was loaded with toppings and drizzled with condiments. Overall, it had an explosion of flavors, and nothing can beat a bacon-wrapped hot dog. One critique I had was there was a lot of bread; the bun was nicely toasted but was a bit overwhelming and filling. I recommend getting a beer and enjoying the lively atmosphere of the food hall. You can sit wherever you like, and the servers will come to you. When I sat down, I got my food quickly. Ultimately, I enjoyed my experience and will return when I want a fun evening with good food.

If you're in the mood for some really good Mexican food I would head over to American eat company and make sure you visit monster Sonoran hotdogs not only are they famous for their birria foot-long Sonoran dogs but all their food is absolutely delicious. From the regular Sonora dog to their ugly quesadilla and the cheesy birria taco, The meat is seasoned very well packed with so much flavor & extremely juicy make sure to grab napkins because you definitely need them. I love their little saying that they have we're not fast food we're quality food and quality food takes time,

Ohhh Heyyyyy Mondter Sonoran dogs, you are freaking fabulous. And ya know what else is fabulous? The biria tacos!! This place is a must try! Great food, fair prices, and good service. What more can you ask for?

The Monster Sonoran Dog. Well...it was interesting. Tastes good. But for ten bucks?!!! Ten bucks!!! Yes, it was long, about a foot long. Probably no "about" about it, it probably, definitely was a foot long. A really good bun. I don't know what makes it orange. But good thing it was good, as you have to eat your way in about 3 inches before you get to any insides. The birria addition to a Sonoran hotdog was interesting. It was OK, good even, but didn't make me go "Wow! That's an improvement!" I wouldn't necessarily choose it over a traditional Sonoran dog Chipilone style. Then there's the price. I mean, ten bucks is more than a #1 at In-N-Out, Freddy's, or you name it. I guess you can justify it by saying that it is about twice as big as a usual Sonoran dog at $3.50 and the remaining $3 is the addition of the Birria and special bun. OK, that feels somewhat better. But I'm still choking at $10 for the dog, $1 for the soda can, tax, and the surcharge for using a credit card. It was $12 and some change! Yikes! I would have gone somewhere else, but it already took a 15 minute drive from work to get there. They have some other very interesting sounding menu items that I might go back to try. The Monster Sonoran Dog will not be a repeat adventure. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

Whenever we go to American Eat Co we always have to go to Monster Dogs. We love that it is always consistently delicious. The salsa verde is great! Also, they always are very attentive to subbing items and ensuring that our order is complete. They are also very helpful when we want to order something different and have questions.

Birria tacos so small that three will fit in the palm of your hand.

Really looking forward to having some birria tacos for lunch so ordered 3 at $3.10 per taco. I was thinking I was going to chow down on some great tacos and was really hungry. What I got was a bloody joke. Look at my picture. I put my hand in the frame so you could see just how tiny they were. All three would fit in the palm of my hand and I have small hands. I was lucky if I got 2 good bites out of each taco. One of the tacs was only half filled with the birria with the other half having just onions and cilantro. Only good for an appetizer - barely. Luckily, after I had these I just had to go over to Pops to get some real food. Don't waste your time here. Fail.

Which, you know, is kind of the whole point of a restaurant. The atmosphere was great, a little on the nose, but great none the less. It feels like a Mexican dinner or at least what I imagined a dinner in Mexico would look like. The staff where beyond amazing, especially the woman who made our complementary salsa right at the table. And the salsa was yummy but sadly that's the only part of the meal that I can say that about. The thing is, nothing was truly bad, but just about everything was incredibly bland. You'd have expected someone who puts raisins in potato salad to have served it, not an authentic Mexican restaurant. Though the positive is the lack of seasoning is really the only major problem. The food did not have any weird taste, it wasn't dry, the presentation was fine. It simply needs to be seasoned and this place goes to a solid 4/5 rather than a three.

El Charro kept…read morepopping up in our search, and since we love exploring historic places with a story, it seemed like the perfect choice. Located in downtown Tucson, this iconic restaurant is full of character and beautifully decorated. We visited on a Saturday around 1 PM without a reservation and were told there would be a wait since the place was packed. They only have air conditioning in the indoor dining areas and basement, not on the outdoor patio. Luckily, we were seated in the basement, which turned out to be perfect. The service was commendable truly some of the sweetest and most attentive service we've experienced in a long time. We started with freshly made chips and salsa, which were an instant hit. For drinks, we ordered the El Tamarindo, Mangopeno, and Monica's Cafetini. For food, we chose the Vegan Jackfruit Taquitos Trio and the Fresh Corn Tamale Platter, which came with a side of squash. The drinks were excellent, with the Mangopeno being my favorite. But the real star of the meal was the tamale platter. Oh my goodness it was absolutely delicious! Everyone at the table kept digging in and couldn't get enough. Even the squash side was so flavorful that we ordered an extra serving. The vegan jackfruit taquitos were a bit too deep-fried for our liking and didn't quite compare to the incredible tamales. To finish, we shared a caramel flan, which was the perfect sweet ending to the meal. The pricing was very reasonable, the service was exceptional, and the food was memorable. We will definitely be back again if only for those amazing tamales!

The food was creative while maintaining that fabulous fresh, handmade Mexican flavor profile. Absolutely delicious! Pricing landed somewhere in the $$ amount per person including beverage and appetizer. Very fair for the level of hand-crafting going into every dish. We didn't have a reservation (highly recommend getting one for busy times) and were happy to sit where they could fit us. Our server Louie was EXCELLENT. He walked us through the entire menu in 3 minutes and we felt confident ordering. He also suggested an amazing appetizer featuring chilies stuffed with cheese and shrimp and wrapped in bacon . I ordered the Fajitas Mixtas for my main as I wanted to try several meats. Hubby ordered the shrimp enchiladas with both green and red sauce. Both were beautiful and delicious. I also tried the mocktail that had prickly pear puree. It was delicious and refreshing. The menu had options available for folks seeking Gluten Free, too. Amelia's was decked out with modern, slightly edgy decor that was welcoming and exciting. Seating for wheelchair users could easily be accommodated by dining table chair removal. The Oracle Street location isn't huge, but the staff does a fantastic job getting folks in and you won't feel cramped. They have a great selection with plenty of options, even for the picky ones (aka me!). The prices are very reasonable, and the food is colorful, beautiful, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Honestly, I wish I could give Yaquesita a little more, maybe half a star more, because this place definitely has potential. Their flavors are good, but compared to similar restaurants the menu feels a bit overpriced. For a party of three we ended up paying around $100, which felt like a bit much for what we got. The restaurant itself is pretty small with only about 3-4 tables inside, but the patio is a decent size and has a cute vibe. It's actually a nice option on cooler days if you don't mind sitting outside. Some items were better than others. The wet-style burrito was delicious and definitely a highlight. The quesabirrias were good, however the birria felt more like fancier shredded beef. It was missing that rich, spicy, slightly acidic, earthy flavor that usually sets birria apart from barbacoa or traditional shredded beef dishes. The bowl was just okay and had lots of lettuce. It felt more like a salad with a bit of meat, rice, and beans. Honestly, Chipotle does bowls better, and that says a lot considering the price. The nachos were good, but I've had better. Seis Kitchen has amazing nachos to share. That said, it's definitely a place I'd come back to mainly out of convenience, not because one particular item on the menu won my heart. I really do hope they continue refining the menu because the flavors are there and this place could easily become a standout spot. Personally I just think at the total price of my ticket other restaurants should not even have room in my mind during my meal. If you're in the area and looking for a safe bet where everyone will probably find something they like, it's worth giving them a try.
