The chicken is always satisfying. My go to is the number 1 with hot bbq or jerk sometimes half and half. The garlic fries are to die for. Never a long wait sauces are always full of flavor. Would definitely recommend. The ambiance is like a sports hangout with a bunch of tv's showing different games with a small arcade for family's with kids. I absolutely love this place! What I love about it is everyone is friendly, helpful and the food is always good. The chicken strips are good, that's what's hubby gets and I always get the salads. I like the Chicken Shack a lot. The fries are good and the chicken is juicy, crispy, hot...all the adjectives that go with fried chicken. You can't really complain about it. Here's my complaint (even though I said YOU can't complain, I didn't say I couldn't complain): the sauces are not my favorite. They are not gross or anything. I dip in them and I swallow. But they don't have the depth of flavor I want in my dipping sauces. The honey bbq is sweet and the hot is hot. But there's nothing interesting going on beyond that. The chicken shack in redding used to have the best homemade sauce ever (but new management, new menu and blah. At least Klamath is original recipe). So there you go. Price is good, service is friendly, plenty of room in there and it's clean. The bathrooms too. But the sauce! I need better sauce. read more

The pictures are deceiving. The chicken sandwich I had was not even a breaded chicken breast. It was a tender cut into strips on bun. And I also tried their gizzards and I must say some gas station gizzards are better. They tasted old. No flavor and heavy on the breading. Not coming back again! read more

The Chicken Shack in Klamath Falls was my favorite restaurant and couldn't wait to go again. Things have changed and the chicken strips are now half the size they were before, shrinkflation I guess. The new normal size is half the size they were with even smaller chicken strips added to the basket. Everything was cooked very well had a nice crunch and juicy. The fries were perfect. I got the chicken sandwich and it was tasteless. Zero flavor. My lady got the buffalo fires and they were very good but it's hard to EFF up buffalo. Cheese curds very good. Overall decent but nothing special. Might consider trying again when traveling though. Sometimes we get our garlic fries with plenty of garlic and it's great but other times we get them with lots of parsley and maybe 4 chunks of garlic. We tried this place once before, never again. 3 to 4 tables with customers while we were there, not busy. Both of our orders were wrong, completely. One order received wrong sauce, other was supposed to be buffalo it was not . When asking for correct sauce and sauce that was supposed to be on other meal we were charged for sauces. I'm a huge fan of the homemade aspect of Chicken Shack. I love that they make they're own sauces and soups. My favorite sauce so far is the Tangy BBQ. I tried their clam chowder with the fritters the other day and loved it, the fritters are a very nice and tasty touch. After ordering 100 NAKED wings, (no breading, we have to have gluten free) we drove another hour and a half to get to the RV park. When we went to eat, none of the wings were gluten free. We had to throw them all out. When we called to talk to the manager, we were told that the owner would call us back. After 4 days, I called from work. The owner told me that we did not order naked wings, we ordered plain. I told him that, due to my son's gluten issues, we absolutely ordered naked, and the cashier repeated that to the dishwasher. We were then told that the dishwasher was cooking because the regular cook was on break. The owner refused to believe that we did not eat the wings, going as far as to say "you're telling me that you did not eat a single wing? Hmmmm, hard to believe." I will not be called a liar! I am calling the credit card company to have these charges reversed!!! Edit: After multiple phone conversations, leaving multiple poor reviews, and disputing the charges with American Express, the owner refunded $99.99 to my card. read more
