100% recommend chicken shack!! They don't ever disappoint!! Great customer service:))

Three fingers and 3 Fingers, Fries & Drink with honey BBQ and hot sauces.

I like the Chicken Shack a lot. The fries are good and the chicken is juicy, crispy, hot...all the adjectives that go with fried chicken. You can't really complain about it. Here's my complaint (even though I said YOU can't complain, I didn't say I couldn't complain): the sauces are not my favorite. They are not gross or anything. I dip in them and I swallow. But they don't have the depth of flavor I want in my dipping sauces. The honey bbq is sweet and the hot is hot. But there's nothing interesting going on beyond that. The chicken shack in redding used to have the best homemade sauce ever (but new management, new menu and blah. At least Klamath is original recipe). So there you go. Price is good, service is friendly, plenty of room in there and it's clean. The bathrooms too. But the sauce! I need better sauce.

Halfway through my fiesta grilled chicken salad I realized it had mold in it. Check your chicken before you eat it :(

I was halfway through my fiesta chicken salad with grilled chicken and saw some discoloration in the pieces. Please check your chicken before you eat from here :(

Well it has finally happened! They shrunk the wings
    Cynthia S.

Just an fyi to save you from the shock... no more wings they are now serving party wings. However the sauce is still good ‍.

For an instant as we entered we thought we were experiencing the scene from Bob Seger's song Turn the Page. We looked at everyone and they looked at us. Like many lounges, they have a high % of local clientele and we clearly were not that. Nevertheless the friendly guy behind the bar welcomed and joked with us as we ordered our food and drinks. The overall place looked spotless and fresh unlike some places that have sticky tables and smell like stale beer. Below is the breakdown: Wings - amongst the largest I have ever seen. They came breaded with Buffalo sauce on the side. They were juicy and delicious even without the sauce. I asked for "hot" and the sauce was Franks straight up which is just right for me. Apparently they offer four Buffalo heat flavors and over a dozen other sauces. Burger - a 1/4 or 1/3 pound burger with standard toppings. Breaded Calamari strips - first time I have encountered Calamari that looked like a fish stick. They were tender and good. Frys - these were amazing. Everyone does frys and it is hard to get excited but these were fantastic. Crisp and medium sized they came out hot and fresh. We think the kitchen is related and shared by the chicken place next door. The service was just right and the gal working the table was super nice and helpful. Prices were more than fair. As we left we said goodbye to a now fully occupied bar and had several farewells come our way. Overall a great place run by great folks.

I ordered a Corpse Reviver #2 and my husband went with a Paper Plane--both cocktails were absolutely delicious and well-balanced. The menu was a bit unexpected for such a stylish lounge, leaning heavily on fried comfort food. We tried the cheese curds and the charcuterie board, and both were surprisingly good. Service was a bit uneven. The bartender, while very chatty with locals, didn't acknowledge us at all--which made it clear we weren't part of the regular crowd. Thankfully, the waitress was friendly and attentive, even though we were seated at the bar. She's the one who took our orders and made us feel welcome. Overall, it was a pretty good experience--especially if you're from around here or don't mind a little local-clique energy.

I can literally throw money in the toilet and itd be better spent than going here. I dont think wanting fresh, hot food is too much to ask for a $24 order. Theres one gentlemen who usually works sunday who hits it out of the ballpark, hes great, every other visit is dog sh1t. You can also add in the constant arguing, i heard one young lady colorfully describe how she was going to 'beat that b1tch up' after work, shes saying this while standing at the counter talking to the other employee whos trying to take my order. But wait wait-these are employees who want and deserve a raise, right??? Youre stupid if you waste money there, i promise its better to flush money down the toilet, youd get more value that way. Oh, dont forget to avoid all the dirt and hair on the floor when you walk in unless you like your food to be cold, rubbery and hairy. Shut the doors on this place, these people objectively deserve to lose their jobs. (Aside from the tall gentlemen who works sundays, i have nothing but good things to say about him, wish i knew his name cause hes the one single solitary good employee. The manager is even proven to be a liar, offering refunds for wrong orders and then denying it when you go back for the $$, fire these idiots.) I only gave 1 star because not giving a star isnt an option.

There is certainly chicken so if you are hungry or want some pretty good bar food with drinks, there is that, be sure you have your cab money though, its easy to get swept away, its a lot of fun. The staff in general are quite good too. For the part of town you find Chicken N Cheers in I think they do a VERY GOOD job at conducting the overall atmosphere. They aren't there to be baby sitters, they are there to create an atmosphere that people would like to hang out in and they accomplish that in spades; I think that is the sign of a GOOD bar. Having been to many of the bars in town, Chicken N Cheers does it right. I have gone around 5 times now and every time I enjoyed myself. The crowd is generally on the younger side and are sociable. And that is GOOD. I understand that some have maybe judged them a bit too rowdy, but I'd say to those folks the establishment does do a GOOD job at threading that needle, you know "boys will be boys" and to be realistic with those sorts of expectations.
