Nonetheless, I appreciated the freshness and moist texture of the breast meat. It almost taste as if they brine the meat before cooking it, except there was no saltiness. In contrast, however, the breading was a little too salty. Still, it was tasty, but not as herbaceous as KFC chicken. But the consistent portion size, flavor, and freshness, beats KFC. Love this place. You can tell the owner has so much pride serving 'home cook' style chicken fingers with locally sourced ingredients for the sauces. The chicken fingers were super crunchy without excessive 'breading'. The mango habanero and Jamaican jerk sauce were super flavorful. My kid enjoyed Mac n cheese made with real cheese and love the Mac n cheese bites (can't go wrong with fried stuff ;)). The garlic fries are also very garlicky without overly lots of fresh chopped garlic. I also enjoyed the mural on the wall done by a local artist. The owner is very enthusiastic to share. Chicken fries had maybe half a chicken strip crumbled on them and a sprinkle of cheese.

What isn't to love about this place. Melt in your mouth chicken. Beyond flavorful garlic fries. Head Chef has his art of food down to the science. Beyond friendly. Have been here a couple times and would make the 2.5 hour drive for their food. It is a great treat when coming over and always a must go when we come over. Be prepared for a small wait. Definitely worth it. I would recommend eating on site sometimes the chicken isn't as crispy after 15 minutes of being in the box. But still very delicious. If you are a garlic love the garlic fries are for you. I couldn't keep my hands off them. Chicken was crispy on the out side and juicy on the inside. The breading was perfectly balance to work well with every sauce. I also had the buffaloes wings and my mouth is watering just thinking of them again. I never ever right reviews, but this experience was due for one. The first time I had the Chicken Shack was about a year ago and it was great! The fries were crispy, the wings were juicy with a great crunch! I couldn't wait to go back! My outlook on this place has now changed. The wings and chicken tenders were mediocre at best. The fries were soggy and barely warm which is mind blowing seeing how I paid extra for the baked beans. The sauce... the sauce was the most disappointing part. First off, if I could give this restaurant more than five stars I 100% would. I love coming here so much! all of the employees are always super helpful and welcoming, they are very educated on the menu and any kind of food allergens in their items. The food is top notch, I personally love any of the wraps and the mac and cheese. It's always fresh, and super fast service. when I choose to dine in, it's always spotless and they play very good music (kudos to whoever made the playlist). The employees come out to check on you, and make sure your needs are met. Chicken was moist and seasoned well but the breading was so greasy and inconsistent, it went in the can. the fries were as greasy they also went in the trash. i couldn't put that much oil in my body at one time. idk i dislike leaving bad reviews. Based on the reviews on here, I expected it to be horrible. I could not have been more surprised. The chicken is amazing and tender like nothing I have ever had before (and I've been to many great chicken places). This chicken is made of real fresh chunks of chicken, and very juicy. The fries are on par with some of the best in the valley. My friend who is a wings fan is happy to have this place in Wenatchee, and he reports that the wings are very good. Their choice of sauces is amazing. We've been there a total of five times combined so far and we've never had a bad meal. In my view, it's well worth the price. I'm not sure why other reviewers report terrible chicken, but it's definitely not been my experience so far. read more
