Not…read moreonly is their selection wonderful and totally a one stop shop for quality gently used kid's clothing, toys, books, etc - the store owner & associates are entirely kind hearted, genuine, helpful and warm. The service they provide is second to none in the retail industry. I was in the store trying to find a last minute dress for my 5yr old's school dance, and ended up finding hidden gems, one after another! Styles that I fell in love with, and hadn't seen anywhere else. You can absolutely see how much care is taken when accepting items to buy or trade, they uphold solid standards, which I really appreciate. The prices are very fair, specially due to the quality they accept and you can tell prices are not marked up unnecessarily. I noticed several customers, much like myself, happen upon the store and making comments on how they'd never known it was there and were thrilled with their finds! I noticed every single customer was always greeted and helped in the most welcoming and sincerest way possible. Every single time I have visited, the staff have been rude, snobby, and honestly just mean. The last time I went I told myself I would never come back again, but I decided to give them one final chance -- and it was the same experience all over again. The last time I went, I dropped off multiple boxes of items. I had arranged the items in a specific way so I would be able to tell if they were actually going through everything. By the time I had barely left the parking lot, they had already texted me saying they were done. When I picked the boxes back up, it was obvious the items had barely been touched, which confirmed they didn't actually go through them. Not to mention, some of the clothes they are selling are way overpriced and honestly pretty low quality for a used clothing store. It doesn't make sense to charge those prices for items that are clearly worn. At this point, the owner really needs to step in and manage this location because the way it's being run feels completely out of control. I've visited multiple times hoping the experience would improve, but it hasn't. I will never visit this business again and I will absolutely be directing and advising others to do the same. For anyone looking for a better experience, the Tempe and Gilbert locations are much better. The owners there are awesome and they do a great job actually running their stores and treating customers with respect. Try them on and decide I want to buy them, only to be told an employee sold two different sizes to someone, so the only pair left in store was 2 different sizes. They offered to ship them to me so I accepted and paid there. When I get the boots 6 days later, they have a couple scuffs and aren't packed like they're brand new. They look like someone's return. I blow it off and try them on in my house, and decide they are also super uncomfortable and I wouldn't be able to wear them. Had zero time to make it BACK to the mall or the post office to return them until 56 DAYS later, still within the 60 day return window. So I make a special trip to the mall and explain everything. The employee kind of acts like she doesn't believe me and then looks at her computer and says 'the system' won't' 'let' her process the return because it's been longer than 60 days. I had proof of when they were ordered and when I received them, but she wouldn't budge. I asked to speak to a manager and she said I am one. THAT is how a manager handles customer service? A human cannot use their common sense to override 'the system'? Does anyone know how to use their own brain these days? Thanks for wasting my time. They have long lines where there are a lot of people trying on clothes. The line is usually gigantic no matter when it is. Well it is even busier during the holiday season. I like the variety they have for the clothes. The prices seem pretty good too. We have to be careful of fast fashion these days and take care of the environment and spending I heard. Some places make clothes that are supposed to last a lifetime. I heard some have turned to mending old clothes instead of buying new ones to be more conscientious. Once someone asked me about where to get their shoes fixed and how to get ink replaced in their pens. I thought that was very admirable.

One feature I particularly appreciate is the children's play area. It is usually kept very clean, and unlike many mall play spaces, the equipment does not appear overly worn out or neglected. It creates a comfortable environment for families and gives kids a nice place to enjoy themselves during a shopping trip. The food court used to offer a stronger variety of dining options in the past, which I do miss, but the mall still has a solid selection of stores and remains one of the better places in the area for shopping and spending an afternoon with family.

Not only are many of our preferred stores there, but some fantastic dining options too. The anchors give everyone the large worthy retailers, and the inner shops run a diverse and voluminous shopping options. Plus, the place is chalk full of independents running the gamut of services and products. The only thing that irks me about Chandler Fashion Center is its cockamamie layout and the lack of more accessible menu boards to tell you where to go or not to go! Otherwise... we're good.
