We've ordered from here as a family about 4 times. It's our 10-year-old son's favorite take-out place in Walnut Grove. The wraps and bowls are quite filling and very flavourful for the price. It's not just rabbit food. I find it interesting that even the simplest of toppings like onions are extra, but I guess this isn't subway. The way they come, they're already pretty good, however I like to add a little bit of extra veg and extra condiment to amp up the flavour and sustenance just that little bit more. read more

I used to like this location but consistently for the past three years the quality has gone down. The boxes used to be full but now they are always half empty. I can't believe how the portion control has gone down. It seriously looks like someone ate half whereas the boxes used to be stuffed with goodness. This has happened repeatedly over the past few years and is clearly this locations standard. The salads are not worth it. I should add that the staff are friendly and I have no problem with the service. The stuffed cups (Zeus is my fav) taste great and the clear cups are always filled. My daughter had the spicy chicken sandwich and loved the flavours although it is not a large sandwich (think typical kids school lunch size). read more

Nice healthy lunch option!!! I did a "build your own" salad with mixed lettuce, grilled chicken, avocado, peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, and banana peppers. Tzatiki dressing and light parmesan cheese. Large size is $9, starter is $6. Add chicken for $3, avocado for $2. Service was friendly and fast! Food was fresh and tasty. It's similar to Freshii. They also have soups, wraps, and rice bowls. Went to this location for lunch and was glad my friend and I chose here to meet! It was easy to find- right off 200th near the freeway at 88th Ave in Langley. There are other locations but this was midway for us to meet. My friend selected a bowl/ Whole Bowl #2. It was beautiful and nice large portion! Spinach, roasted pecans, cranberries(dried), carrots, cucumbers, garbanzo beans and warm brown basmati rice. For $9.50 cdn I chose the Bangkok wrap with prawns add on. It had romaine, ice burg, chopped peppers, snow peas, onion, noodles, peanuts, cilantro in a whole grain wrap. $6.50 plus $4 for prawns( which were large and sweet) We both had chopped water - chopped pineapple and berry infused-delicious at $2!! The restaurant is s fast food cafe style- order at counter and they deliver to your table! Great service and clean bright surroundings! Staff was helpful and friendly! read more

I'm lucky I guess cuz I didn't really have to wait. Thank goodness. I'm terribly impatient at times. I ordered the No. 1 whole bowl with the grilled chicken. It's reminiscent of the Chipotle experience. The ingredients are fresh tasting with some nice kick to it. I didn't have to wait long at all for the food to arrive maybe 5-10 minutes. It was a decent portion and came in a nice size bowl. If you know me, I'm starting to lose my ability to eat a lot. That's a good thing. So this was perfect for me. I'll come back for other healthy items. Ambiance was nice and casual and Bright. The staff friendly enough. The price paid was abit higher than normal but worth it. read more

Very healthy fare with a nice touch with their Chopped Water which is like their infused water blend. Their menu boasts soups, fresh salads, while bowls which are rice bowl dishes with fresh ingredients, salad rolls and a few other extras. Food was quick and super fresh which is great. I'm so glad to finally have something fresh and light as an option for lunch in this area. I visited for my first time last week and made the mistake of going at 12:30 for lunch. I was actually glad to see it packed in there because I want this place to stick around! The line moved fairly quick but was lined up to the door. They have the awesome option of pre-ordering online which I will definitely do next time. Since it was my first time there I wanted to check it out first. I ordered the vegetarian salad rolls, grilled cheese sandwich on multi-grain for my 8 year old daughter and I designed my own salad. I love having the option to put whatever I want in my own salad. Even though I designed my own salad, the staff was super quick and my salad was exactly what I ordered. I ordered the Starter Size, Spring Mix, with wild salmon, roasted pecans, red onion, cucumber, tomatoes, carrots and parmesan cheese. For my dressing I chose the Creamy Lemon Dill. The dressing was alright. I would've preferred the lemon to be a bit more prominent. Next time I'll go with something not as rich; possibly the balsamic or chipotle lime citrus. The salmon wasn't really seasoned but cooked perfectly. Unfortunately they were very skimpy on the toppings I chose. I would have liked to see more onions at least! For a $10 salad (salmon $4) there should have been more veggies. The grilled cheese was very good but for a fussy 8 year old, the bread was very chewy (I liked it though). The vegetarian salad rolls were nothing to write home about. It was just some veggies stuffed in a chewy rice paper wrap. The Evil Peanut sauce was alright if you like wasabi. I'm not sure if there is wasabi in the sauce but that's what it tasted like to me. The portion sizes were perfect for me (I'm usually starving by lunch time). I wasn't convinced that a salad would fill me up but I'm sure glad I only ordered the starter size. The staff was very friendly, fast and knowledgable. Went here today as I was in the area. I usually go to salad works for my salad fix. I would say salad works is a lot better than chopped leaf. 2 full salads with chicken was almost 30 bucks. I don't mind paying that, but I expect more for my money. 2 little pieces of avocado and maybe half a serving of chicken? Lame! On a positive note the staff and restaurant are nice, they are quick, and the food is fresh. Good place if you are in a rush and don't want fast food. read more

I was really excited about chopped leaf but the last time I went to the Langley location, which was April 21, 2016, my wrap was made by a girl named Faith who made my wrap without gloves on and had long, acrylic, dirty nails. I used to LOVE Chopped Leaf. Recently I've noticed the portions have become way smaller and I wont be back. $13 for a tiny bowl of food just isn't okay. It used to be so filling and fulfilling and now the small portions are disappointing. The chickie bowl is a sad excuse for a childs meal too. My 4 year old wouldn't even be satisfied in the least. I visited the new Walnut Grove location yesterday for lunch and ordered the Sunshine Salad - full size - with chicken. Pros - once I got to the front of the long line (not their fault) the service was quick, and friendly enough. There was a good amount of cheese, apples and cucumbers in my salad. The dressing that comes with the Sunshine salad is delicious. Cons - I ordered the salad mostly for the avocado that's supposed to be in it. Said avocado was two very small pieces that wouldn't amount to two tbsp. Could also use a bit more chicken - especially since they charge you $3.00 extra for it. I didn't expect to see kale in spring mix, but that could just be me. It's tough to eat in its raw form. Also, at pickup it was hard to hear the girl calling. They gave me a number but she named the salad instead. I guess I'd go back though. The menu is varied enough and I liked my salad. Just have to watch the toppings. read more

Me and my wife came here and ordered some food. While we were eating I witnessed an older man behind the counter who looked like possibly the owner and he was filling the bags of chicken for use by the staff with his bare hands. Then he grabs the lettuce and starts doing the same thing, grabbing mit fulls of food with his bare hands that his customers are going to put in there mouths! Most of his staff were using protective gloves for handling food but the owner wasn't. He also had his jacket on which means he probably just came in from outside. Did he wash his hands? Probably not because a few minutes later he starts handling the till, exchanging grubby money pushing buttons on the till and when he was done off he goes handling the food again with his unwashed un protected hands. I have been to this location many times and it has been excellent. However, today was not the case at all. Very disappointing. I ordered a Chicken Caesar salad on line and paid 16.80. For a good salad with lots of ingredients that is a reasonable price. I requested, no bacon, no croutons and double the chicken. I did not receive double the chicken thankfully because the chicken that they put in my salad was anything but. It was fake processed and jelly like substance that had fake grill marks on it. Bacon and croutons were in the salad despite my request. There are other competitors in this area now and I will be trying them as something has definitely changed for the worse at the Langley North Chopped Leaf. Such a shame!!! I really like the whole bowl with black beans and Avocados, hits the spot after a long day at work. The best part is I can order online and the food is ready for pick up when I get there. It's much more convenient than waiting in line. The premises are kept clean and tidy and the staff has been more than helpful every time I've been there. The owners obviously take the time to hire nice people. I have no reservations about recommending this restaurant since it's my new favourite place in Langley for a quick healthy meal. read more

The Chopped Leaf is such a refreshing restaurant option, wholesome food that doesn't sacrifice big flavor and large portions. I'm sometimes hesitant to go to a 'salad bar' type place for a meal out of fear that I'll be bored with the meal and be hungry again in 30 min after the meal or something, but CL does it right. So glad to see new locations like this Langley one popping up! Before the opening of this Langley location I'd been to the Cloverdale location a bunch of times and was generally pleased with my experience, but found that they sometimes mixed up ingredients and forgot custom order details (failed to substitute spinach, forgot to add Chicken etc). I've been happy to see that this Langley location has been very proactive in their level customer service, double checking my orders and getting them right. Also, this location is really clean and well laid out - it's a corner unit with lots of natural light and generous space. Seems really well run so far and definitely my #1 choice for a meal anytime I'm anywhere close to the neighbourhood. read more

Back to work and opening the container, I found that there is no dressing at all, none! Almost 10 bucks for a salad and they forget the dressing? Not impressed at all! First and last try for sure.
