You are charged the $ 10.36 automatically. For my whole experience here at this restaurant I would give this restaurant very poor rating due to my experience here. I will not be coming back here. They should refund my money due to this horrible experience here.

The only food I tried was the guacamole. I was surprised. It wasn't good but it was bad. I almost forgot the chips and salsa wa above average. If I had more time, I would have tried some of the other drinks that they offered. They looked great.

Pickin' Porch forces a mandatory 10% "staff tip" on all orders. Because you stand in line and pay at a counter before you are even tended to, they are essentially demanding a tip before providing any service. Sometimes you stand in line for longer than it takes to receive the food you're paying a 10% premium on. If a business needs to cover higher staff costs, they should just raise menu prices. Forcing a surprise surcharge at the register is a cheap tactic. Furthermore, didn't ask, but suspect one is likely required to pay this fee even if you're just getting food to-go. For a restaurant located inside a craft mall, playing these corporate "gotcha" fee games feels completely out of place in this wonderful spiritual community Branson has always been. Branson is a city built on genuine kindness... However, Pickin Porch Grill's compulsory 10% tipping fee billing practice is the exact opposite of the nature of Branson. Come for the food, but be prepared for a frustrating mandatory fee at the register.
