We've had a great experience with The Cleaning Authority from our very first conversation. Miss Jessica came out for our initial walk-through. She was so sweet with our 2 dogs and left us with a great understanding of what to expect. We recently had our first cleaning. Christian & Amanda arrived and got right to it. They brought in their own cleaning equipment & supplies and immediately got to work. They cleaned upstairs and down, wiped down the doors, cabinets, the baseboards, and vacuumed the stairs. The kitchen & bathrooms were spotless. They even changed out the bed linens. We also really love that they use green cleaners so the house is not left smelling like bleach and chemicals. When they were finished, everything was just left clean & fresh. As they were leaving, their supervisor, Olivia stopped by to inspect their work and ensure we were happy with the service. I used Cleaning Authority for a once per month cleaning since November 2022. The ladies always did a wonderful job but unfortunately management seems to be going downhill. For the past several months the cleaners were coming later in the day than I liked. I would call the office, get promises, then they would be late again. The last time I called they promised to put me on an earlier schedule and said it would mean a day of the week change. I was ok with that. Today, the Cleaning Authority showed up (late) with no reminders to me, on the same day it always was. I had to send them away, which meant a lock-out fee of over $100. Additionally, the office insists they sent me a reminder email. Nope! I always got the previous months email reminders. Someone dropped the ball and wants to blame me. My partner and I took the plunge and hired a cleaning service because we can't keep up and having the energy to clean is my top stressor. John scheduled a quote and coordinated everything. We first booked a deep clean to get the house in shape. Our master bath shower was is dire straights and the grout a mess. I was extremely embarrassed about it, but I had tried several cleaning hacks with gradual improvement. John had cleaned what he could. I was at the point where I was using the other shower in our house and wanting to replace it. When the ladies arrived, I apologized but they said that was why they were here. I was very impressed with the results. Mayra and Felipa were the gals who cleaned. The baseboards on the stairs looked fantastic and are difficult to dust. Blinds were dusted and the house smelled so fresh. I'm not sure the witchcraft they used on our doggie smell carpets upstairs, but these gals are good. The only critique I have is that I think our deep clean should have been a bit longer or broken up. We didn't have them clean the office or guest room since there was a lot to do. I wish they had taken a break. I could see that a lot of energy was spent at the start (master bath, guest bath,stairs) and when they got to the end, they ran out of steam. I noticed that evening the cabinets weren't cleaned above the microwave specifically. It is fairly obvious due to dust and oil mixed from the vent that turns into a brown smear. Other cabinets hadn't been fully cleaned either. I became deflated from my clean house high. It was around $400 for this deep clean. I'm happy to pay for the service provided. I really hope that this was just a one-off mistake. I guess I'll have to be *that* person and inspect everything. Our home really needed the attention and they gave it, with the exception of the kitchen. I also couldn't find a few things in my bathroom because they had put them in my Dopp kit (it had eyeshadow from a broken palette), so it had gotten all over the stuff they put inside. All in all, I've booked them again to see how continual cleanings will go. I recommend getting a service to come especially if you have mental illness or are just stressed. Having a clean home has such a big impact on my mood and improves my depression. So, if you really hate cleaning but love a clean home, the cleaning authority will be to the rescue. read more

Wow, compared to last year's move, this one is moving along suspiciously smoothly! We needed cleaners after we moved out of our rental, so I called up The Cleaning Authority. I'd seen Yelp reviews for the Austin office, but our house (in Milwood) was under the purview of the Round Rock location. TCA usually charges $75/hr for one-time cleans, but this location charges only $70. 3 hour minimum. The gentleman who runs this location made sure that he got every applicable detail about my cleaning request. Did I want to limit them to 3 or 4 hours? Did I want them to clean out the fridge, oven, window interiors, drawers, shelves, etc.? I gave them a 4-hr max, plus all the extras he mentioned besides the oven (it wasn't horribly dirty). They were right on time meeting me at the house this morning and I left for work as they got started. Two and a half hours later, I get the call that they're finishing up in 20 minutes. Wow, full house sparkling within the minimum time frame! Our new house is within the Austin office's district, so we'll be going with them if we decide to splurge on regular cleaning services, but I highly recommend the Round Rock location! read more
