Came into this location due to the convenience of it being near by my house. Order an iced hazelnut latte with almond milk and a dom scoop of hazelnut the cashier said oh you want an extra scoop it'll be a charge extra. However I always order this drink at the Placentia location and have never been charged extra for a dom scoop. I informed my go to location which is placentia and they informed me it's not supposed to be charged and all coffee beans do dom scoop. I was driving around looking for a place to chill prior to a business meeting and was craving a raspberry iced cold brew tea. Comes in two sizes.. Regular for $3.70 and for a large $4.30. They ran out of regular sized cups which I can't imagine they would so early in the morning. So, they gave me a small and discounted for $2.95 but even with the discount and the size, it wasn't worth the value. Especially not topping it off and leaving half an inch off the top. Service here isn't great. It's hella slow. With two workers and one tidying up the tables that weren't messy, that left one staff member on the cashier and making drinks who was fairly new and without urgency. World's slowest Coffee Bean. There are four workers behind the counter and they are making the drinks out of order. Either that or they forgot to make my order. Customer service here blows as when I asked what the status of my drink is they replied with, "We are getting to it." Meanwhile several others behind me have already gotten their drinks and left. Came by today to buy some drinks and order the cookies and cream. I got a regular and some whip cream on top. It was pretty sweet and frosty but it was a little too much sweetness for me. Drink was OK didn't seem to have a whole lot of texture more of an icy so that's why I was three stars for me. read more

So I've never came to this coffee bean and instead of going to starbucks I thought I'll come here. Well I literally got here at 9:55 pm. Which means in reality I still had time. Sign says they close at 10:00 p.m. Those are the business hours!. But the shop was literally already cleaned like they had started shutting down at 9:30 p.m. Maybe even before. Well, in actuality, it found me since I was oozing insomnia: Velvet on Netflix and late night Halloween chocolate cravings. It's also across from Downey High where my girls were at a swim meet. Perfection! Same warm, wood and cozy interior. Seating along the walls, middle and outside. It was Brazil Day for the light coffee was called Brazil and bossa nova was playing. Wish I could have sat and relaxed a moment, but motherly duties were calling. Cashier was efficient, used my app to get rewards, and the coffee was good. I went to this location to get my daily coffee and it's my first time going to a coffee bean location. I did not have a great first experience. The employee taking my order, their name was Emily gave me unnecessary attitude. They did not have great customer service. To top off the bad experience my drink tasted bad. I'm a regular coffee drinker and the drink they gave me tasted bitter. The espresso tasted as if it had been sitting there. Overall not a good experience. Had to go to another coffee bean location to satisfy my morning. read more
