It's probably not somewhere I'd personally plan to sit and hang out for a while, but they do offer online pickup through DoorDash, and the service was quick (for reference, I went at around 8:45am on a Sunday). The employees were also friendly and helpful when we had questions about the menu. What really stood out to me was the flavor! The drinks are rich, flavorful, and really well-balanced. It's not bitter, overly sweet, or too plain. Everything we tried tasted consistent and intentional. The prices are a little on the higher side, but based on the quality, I think it's worth it. I'd definitely come back, especially for the Madagascar Vanilla Latte, the matcha, or even to just try something new on the menu!

I've been a regular at this location for quite some time, but after recent events, I will no longer be coming back. The turning point for me was learning that the manager unfairly fired one of the best baristas the store had. She was always so kind, knew me by name, and consistently made me feel special. She was truly the glue that held the team together. From my perspective as a customer, I could see how smooth and organized her shifts were, and I've heard nothing but praise for her from the rest of the staff. Since this manager took over, it's been clear that the atmosphere has shifted. The morale of the team has noticeably dropped, and it seems like the manager prefers to operate with an iron fist rather than listening to the workers who know what works best. It's as if he values his ego more than the wellbeing of the store and the staff. The barista who was let go, along with others, had always been willing to speak up with suggestions for improvement, but it seems like their input wasn't welcome. On top of everything, the manager's drink-making skills are subpar at best. I'm really disappointed in what's happening here. It's sad to see such a hardworking and talented team lose out because of one person's inability to lead with respect and fairness. I won't be returning to this location again. read more

My family and I have several Coffee Bean gift cards. Two of my family members wanted to give their money to me because they know I (used to) like Coffee Bean. I emailed customer service to see if they could be combined into one card. Instead of honoring that request, they said that I had improperly accessed other people's (my family's) accounts. They shut down those accounts and zeroed out the gift card balances. They would not return the money even after all the cardholders asked for the money back. They confiscated about $59 of gift card money from us. California law states that the value on a gift card belongs to the beneficiary, not to the issuer, so I don't see why they think they can confiscate the gift card funds, but it's just me against them. After weeks of emails with customer service, they will only return the money if we provide receipts for the gift cards, which we don't have because most of the cards were gifts. I hope you consider my experience--where Coffee Bean demands a receipt to use our gift cards--before buying a Coffee Bean gift card or giving them any of your business. read more

This location is great. Right off Ximeno Ave in a pretty convenient strip mall. The parking in the morning is fine. If you're trying to grab something at night, it'll be harder as there are many restaurants there that have a lot of business. The service is pretty fast and they don't run out of their food selections as much as other The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, There are places inside and outside to enjoy your cup of joe. They even have a fireplace and a swing/bench outside. Is a great place to meet friends. The other day I went in and the line was so long I had to stand outside the door because there wasn't room inside to stand. They do move quickly through the line though. So I love the friends I've made at the Coffee Bean & Tea leaf over the past 15 years but it's gone a bit downhill. This table has a drink dumped on it Tuesday afternoon. Today is Thursday afternoon and it's still sitting outside with this filthy nasty drink dried on it. Are they leaving out all night. They take the other chairs and tables in. This Jamba is located on the southwest corner of Carson and Atlantic. Parking isn't too spacious here. I think I got real lucky because I saw only one spot open when I came just before 6 PM on a Tuesday, and literally a minute later, I saw a car pull into the lot and pass by; I don't think that car was able to park in the lot. They have a couple of entrances: one by the parking lot, and the other facing the intersection. I took the long way around to see the other businesses in this small plaza, and I entered through the latter entrance, where the front counter and menu were directly in front of me. A couple of customers were already inside waiting for their mozzarella sticks while another customer was at the register placing her order. That gave me ample time to decide what smoothie to get. They have two sections of smoothies on the menu, and the Super Blend section was more expensive, and likely healthier, than the Whirl'd Famous section, so I wanted something from the Super Blend section. Since I wasn't planning to eat much vegetables for dinner that evening, I wanted something with greens. There were only two smoothies on their menu with the word "greens" in the name: Apples n Greens and Greens n Ginger. I had Apples n Greens at the Cerritos location, but didn't think it was anything special, but the Greens n Ginger sounded interesting enough that I asked the first employee at the register about it. That first employee seemed to have an indifferent, and borderline condescending, attitude towards me and didn't seem as knowledgeable about the menu because she recited the ingredients of the Greens n Ginger in a rather dubious manner. I still went with it since it sounded like a winner to me. It didn't take too long for the Greens n Ginger to be ready, but that's because the customer before me had also ordered that smoothie too, which I didn't know until the second employee making the drinks said it was for the other customer. The second employee only said the drink name, which made me think that was mine even though I had a feeling it wasn't because that would have been quite a large size for a small! This is a commonality at any Jamba you go to, and I wish their corporate office would have the mindset to think of such a scenario happening at any of their locations. I made a verbal comment about the odds of such an occurrence happening, but neither employee really responded. The first employee seemed to be annoyed when I asked her a question, and she didn't really show much courtesy or even appreciation for my business. The second employee was done making my drink, and when she placed it on the pickup counter, she said they decided to make a Large for me instead. Wow! Suddenly, the vibes turned a 180 as I got a much larger drink than I deserved! I suppose they must have felt bad about pulling my leg on the other customer's drink that they thought upgrading my free drink for free would make amends? I took a sip of the smoothie, and wow, it was much more flavorful than the Apples n Greens from the Cerritos location! I didn't like, however, that it was too thick, but it was only a minor nuisance at best since I was spending a great deal of time in the shop drafting this review on my phone lol. The first employee spent some time cleaning the floors and was much more polite when she asked me to move so she could sweep the area around me. However, she and her co-worker had way too much fun with the music, which was kind of disruptive to me, but not too much. They have three tables, each of which could seat three, but the chairs don't have back rests on them. They are arranged so that customers would be facing Atlantic Ave. I probably would have given 3 stars, but I'll give a 4th since they decided to upgrade my smoothie from a Small to a Large. Also, my reward still remained on my account somehow lol.
