Reviewing this Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf because it has good indoor and outdoor seating as well as an easy to access drive thru if you are traveling West on Artesia. They also have a full selection of teas and other merchandise in the store. The service is always friendly here and the store is kept very clean. There is also a lot of natural light that comes into the store which makes it a great place to stop and enjoy a coffee or meet with friends.

Walked in on a Wednesday evening to find Mylo carefully training a new team member, but greeted me right away. I noticed the dining room was spacious, and there was plenty of parking. As always, business was clean and staffed up with 3 people working. And my Americano was excellent--as always. Another 5 star CBTL location.

What a beautiful day to order a cookie butter ice blended from CBTL!!! This frothy, frosty, iced goodness with buttery, cinnamonny, notes of caramel, a hint of ginger, enriched with cookie flavor is a high quality coffee treat!!! Always order the heaping scoop it takes your coffee game to the next level!! I think they have Biscoff cookie butter mixed in, but I am not sure but it tastes good. I met Kaci today in the drive thru, very pleasant great customer service with a smile!!! Thanks Kaci for your friendliness!!

Tuesday 9/3 at 5:45am drive Thur, barista sold me a moldy croissant. Didn't know till I got to work. If you order from here, just check your food before leaving the drive Thur or better yet, not to order from here.

Paid $4.25 for an iced coffee and was 75-80% ice. Can't help but feel like I paid for a cup of ice with a splash of coffee... Won't be going here again

This feels like a Starbucks copycat. The food is identical now. Back in the day they had a honey bran muffin that could not be beat and a chai blended. Now it's the exact same food as Starbucks and coffee menu is same also...along with decor and displays. Meh

Vietnamese ice coffee

Nice little alternative to Starbucks. Indoor sanitized seating for a relaxing place to read or web surf. Who would've thought they have a nice selection of teas and beans. Surprised to see Vietnamese ice coffee and even more surprised that it taste good. It's condense milk balances the coffee strength. I also love that they use crushed ice, it's not clunky or hard to swirl. Give this place a try!

The aesthetic inside is really nice, clean, sunny, and with a few spots to sit and enjoy your drink or get some work done. They have a good variety of drinks, plus a few seasonal options as well. I got the Earl Grey matcha latte, and my husband went with the banana cream matcha latte. Both drinks came out pretty quickly! And they were SO good. I love Earl Grey in my matcha, and Otto Tea Shoppe nailed the flavor. The matcha was earthy and a great green color. My husband really enjoyed his banana matcha (and so did I... wife tax hehe). The banana flavor was super enjoyable and clearly not artificial. I'll definitely be back to try more of their drinks!

It was not whisked properly, the texture was off and the flavor was flat in that unmistakable way bad matcha announces itself immediately. Matcha is simple, but it is not casual. When it's done well, you can taste the attention. When it's done poorly, there's nowhere to hide. This tasted rushed, underworked and overpriced. Service didn't help. The whole experience felt indifferent. There are too many places taking matcha seriously now to settle for a cup that feels like someone bought the right language but skipped the discipline.

Oddly enough their logo reminds me of the logo from Boba Guys. The shop was originally rebranded from The Fika Company and this Redondo Beach location is the flagship store. The Boy & The Bear places a strong emphasis on store design and each location is named after a different color as this one is called the Black Store. Currently, they have multiple locations in Los Angeles (Redondo Beach, Culver City, Westchester, Pasadena, Sherman Oaks, and Gardena) with new shops opening in South Pasadena (Summer 2026) and Little Italy in San Diego (Summer 2026). [Parking]: Metered parking on N Francisca Ave. Otherwise visitors will need to circle around for local street parking. [Atmosphere]: Spacious indoor seating (about five tables) and a bar table & 5-6 small outdoor bench tables and additional cozy outdoor seating. [Menu]: A straightforward coffee menu with only three syrup flavors: mocha, vanilla, and caramel. They also offer teas and various croissants. *** Vanilla latte (to-go & hot - $7.50): No latte art - just a simple hot vanilla latte. It was a solid latte with the right amount of sweetness. *** A nice coffee shop in the South Bay with a good first-date vibe and above-average drinks, but beware of the parking situation.

A friend introduced me to TOT Coffee because she was completely addicted, and as a fellow coffee freak, I had to try it for myself. Well... after my first order, I was hooked. The NOLA was strong, rich, and packed with flavor -- exactly the kind of coffee I've been searching everywhere for. Honestly, I think Blue Bottle Coffee should come study TOT's NOLA because its better than theirs. The Chai Latte is another favorite of mine. Everywhere else, chai usually disappoints me with that artificial taste and overpowering sweetness, but here you can actually taste every single spice. Perfectly balanced and never overly sweet. And then there are the seasonal drinks... always delicious, but this round was next level. Who would've thought pineapple and coconut could work so well in an espresso latte? I seriously cannot stop thinking about it. The Pineapple Match Lemonade was incredibly refreshing too. Honestly, I'm just happy I live nearby and can grab TOT whenever the craving hits.

I had to ask them to put one pump of syrup in there because it was not sweet at all. I'm not someone who loves the overly sweet drinks either. It didn't really taste any blueberry flavor, so that was a little bit of a miss for me. The presentation was fantastic though! The line can be a little long since there is only one person taking orders. They've been there for one year and they are getting to the point of putting decor up and really creating a space for themselves. I love the poster about the name "tot" coffee. To summarize, they talked about how "tot" is to refer to the "little kid" or "tot" sense of curiosity and wonder. The whole place gives the vibe of a former diner, so it's an interesting contrast to have more elevated drinks. I'll be open to trying it out once again, but wasn't totally impressed.
