It's Triple Star Tuesday AND I had a 50% off coupon through the Starbucks app, so of course I had to stop at Starbucks! The cost of the cold foam sadly went up again a bit ago, to a whopping $1.25. So since I had the coupon for the 50% off, decided it was time to try a different cold foam. I got a venti iced matcha latte with the peppermint chocolate cold foam. I'm a huge fan of the regular iced matcha latte, so was excited to try this! The peppermint chocolate cold foam added a nice touch to the drink. It tasted like an Andes mint chocolate drink with a hint of matcha. If you're craving a strong matcha taste, probably not the best choice, but if you want a chocolate drink with some caffeine, I highly recommend! Super tasty! My sister got a grande hot peppermint white chocolate mocha, which she enjoyed. They actually offer peppermint year-round so if you're craving a holiday drink even when it's not the holidays, that's the perfect one to get! This location does get pretty busy. Large space with a lot of tables, but it fills up pretty fast. I've studied here a few times, and had to get there pretty early to secure a spot. If you're a regular at Starbucks, I highly recommend the Starbucks app. There's a lot of perks - collecting stars to get free drinks, add-ons, or merch, free drink on your birthday, and coupons. Plus mobile ordering is pretty convenient. At this location, I recommend mobile ordering if you're in a rush to go somewhere. Today, we mobile ordered so our drinks were ready within 10 minutes, and ready upon our arrival. Workers were friendly and greeted us upon arrival.

This review is based on how efficient this particular Starbucks is. I was loading up the pup in the car (after an hour watching him do a buncha zoomies and do lotsa and lotsa playtime with other pups at the dog park nearby) when I had this sudden urge for and iced matcha latte. So I put in the order through their app and was informed it'll be ready in about 9-12. Welp... I was gonna be there in less than 5 which was fine, I thought I'd just hangout with the pup in the car while I wait. Parked right up front and boy, this place is PACKED. Not a single table was open on a not-so-early-almost-lunch Sunday. That said, I expected my drink to take longer to come out. But! I actually got a little glimpse of the pick-up area and saw something that looked like mine. Since no one picked it up after a few seconds, I decided to check it out... ... and it was mine. I was ecstatic - I couldn't believe my drink was ready so quickly despite the crowd! How were they able to pull this? The drink was perfect - even more so when the sun began to break through the cloudy sky. I might just make it a must-stop for before and/or after taking the pup for a park run.

    My actual order!

This is what I got with my request for light ice, 2 or 3 sips and enough ice to build an igloo! Next time I will just order a drink with my glass of ice, if that makes any sense!

Starbucks 2 Femaie African American workers (Thur ~6pm 12/28/23) on Hawthorne/182nd like to quote unwritten/nor published corporate policies to customers that other Starbucks locations and other coffee establishment (McDs, Gloria, Dutch Brothers, Dennys, Yellow Vase) have NO problem accommodating to put dairy on the side. Worker claimed "sweet foam MUST be inside the same cup" to not perform the task and that it was corporate policy and called it "fluid" policy. This location has NO Barista and the workers refer to ingredient guide list on how to make as policy vs. how a customer wants their drink with a SIMPLE change of having dairy set on the side. This situation alone made me decide not to buy Starbucks gift cards for family friends for the holidays. Instead, I bought Nespresso gifts cards so they can make their own w/o needing to stop at Starbucks. Or MCDs, gift cards.

Upon walking in long line but it went very quickly. Got greeted order was taken and repeated but I didn't know the cashiers name no badge? However she was nice ,I also didn't even get a receipt, nor was I asked if I needed a receipt so minus one star I ordered a Whit chocolate Mocha no whip Tall Vanilla Latte Egg white bites And a bacon Gouda Sandwich . On one of the photos they look very busy ,but they are actually taking their sweet time it's 8:56 and I'm still waiting for my order, once it get my items I'll post the time. However the stores is clean and they ar very stoked we'll in all their products which is great...

Due to Coronavirus, they don't accept reusable cups but they still give discount for bringing it in.

Favorite location! Definitely my favorite starbucks location to study or chat with people. Located on corner of Anza and 190th, this place has huge parking lot. Inside is also huge (relatively speaking). There's lots of tables for seating and free wifi is great. Menu is the usual with exception of seasonal drinks and custom drinks only at this location. This place used to serve alcohol i think, now they don't. This is my favorite studying spot.

Trash overflowing, restrooms "closed", employees not giving a rat's @ss!

Like the last reviewer, Mediator M, I felt like no one wanted to be here. No name tags, out of uniform, no smiles, no greeting; warm or otherwise. I went in at 6:30pm. They close at 8. I asked for the restroom code. I was told both restrooms were closed. "Why would they both be closed?" No answer. I'm sure it's just because they cleaned them early & locked them so they could leave as soon as possible. I went across the street to use the restroom at CVS. When I came back, I ordered & no receipt was given. I'm sure they knew I would use the number on the receipt. While I was waiting, the employee who told me the restrooms were closed & two other baristas were doing nothing while trash overflowed & the tables were dirty. If you are open & selling food & drinks, YOUR RESTROOMS SHOULD BE OPEN! HASN'T STARBUCKS GOTTEN IN ENOUGH TROUBLE REFUSING THE USE OF RESTROOMS???

I love Earl Grey in my matcha, and Otto Tea Shoppe nailed the flavor. The matcha was earthy and a great green color. My husband really enjoyed his banana matcha (and so did I... wife tax hehe). The whole experience felt indifferent. There are too many places taking matcha seriously now to settle for a cup that feels like someone bought the right language but skipped the discipline.

A friend introduced me to TOT Coffee because she was completely addicted, and as a fellow coffee freak, I had to try it for myself. Well... after my first order, I was hooked. The NOLA was strong, rich, and packed with flavor -- exactly the kind of coffee I've been searching everywhere for. Honestly, I think Blue Bottle Coffee should come study TOT's NOLA because its better than theirs. The Chai Latte is another favorite of mine. Everywhere else, chai usually disappoints me with that artificial taste and overpowering sweetness, but here you can actually taste every single spice. Perfectly balanced and never overly sweet. And then there are the seasonal drinks... always delicious, but this round was next level. Who would've thought pineapple and coconut could work so well in an espresso latte? I seriously cannot stop thinking about it. The Pineapple Match Lemonade was incredibly refreshing too. Honestly, I'm just happy I live nearby and can grab TOT whenever the craving hits.

The line can be a little long since there is only one person taking orders. They've been there for one year and they are getting to the point of putting decor up and really creating a space for themselves. I love the poster about the name "tot" coffee. To summarize, they talked about how "tot" is to refer to the "little kid" or "tot" sense of curiosity and wonder. The whole place gives the vibe of a former diner, so it's an interesting contrast to have more elevated drinks. I'll be open to trying it out once again, but wasn't totally impressed.
