So since I had the coupon for the 50% off, decided it was time to try a different cold foam. I got a venti iced matcha latte with the peppermint chocolate cold foam. I'm a huge fan of the regular iced matcha latte, so was excited to try this! The peppermint chocolate cold foam added a nice touch to the drink. It tasted like an Andes mint chocolate drink with a hint of matcha. If you're craving a strong matcha taste, probably not the best choice, but if you want a chocolate drink with some caffeine, I highly recommend! Super tasty! My sister got a grande hot peppermint white chocolate mocha, which she enjoyed. They actually offer peppermint year-round so if you're craving a holiday drink even when it's not the holidays, that's the perfect one to get! This location does get pretty busy. Large space with a lot of tables, but it fills up pretty fast. I've studied here a few times, and had to get there pretty early to secure a spot. If you're a regular at Starbucks, I highly recommend the Starbucks app. There's a lot of perks - collecting stars to get free drinks, add-ons, or merch, free drink on your birthday, and coupons. Plus mobile ordering is pretty convenient. At this location, I recommend mobile ordering if you're in a rush to go somewhere. Not a single table was open on a not-so-early-almost-lunch Sunday. That said, I expected my drink to take longer to come out. But! I actually got a little glimpse of the pick-up area and saw something that looked like mine. Since no one picked it up after a few seconds, I decided to check it out... ... and it was mine. I was ecstatic - I couldn't believe my drink was ready so quickly despite the crowd! How were they able to pull this? Starbucks 2 Femaie African American workers (Thur ~6pm 12/28/23) on Hawthorne/182nd like to quote unwritten/nor published corporate policies to customers that other Starbucks locations and other coffee establishment (McDs, Gloria, Dutch Brothers, Dennys, Yellow Vase) have NO problem accommodating to put dairy on the side. Worker claimed "sweet foam MUST be inside the same cup" to not perform the task and that it was corporate policy and called it "fluid" policy. This location has NO Barista and the workers refer to ingredient guide list on how to make as policy vs. how a customer wants their drink with a SIMPLE change of having dairy set on the side. This situation alone made me decide not to buy Starbucks gift cards for family friends for the holidays. Instead, I bought Nespresso gifts cards so they can make their own w/o needing to stop at Starbucks. Or MCDs, gift cards. read more

Favorite location! Definitely my favorite starbucks location to study or chat with people. Located on corner of Anza and 190th, this place has huge parking lot. Inside is also huge (relatively speaking). There's lots of tables for seating and free wifi is great. Menu is the usual with exception of seasonal drinks and custom drinks only at this location. The tables in this store are permanently disgusting. They're irreversibly caked in who knows what and if you out your hot sandwich bag on them, it literally sticks to the table. Once you tear your bag off, it's permanently added to the collage on the tabletop. That said it's big and convenient so it's always packed and that seems to be the only concern as they've never done anything to improve the store. PROS: - Pro Tip for this location: USE THE MOBILE APP - Line management is decent, and earns this Sbux an extra star - Cashiers/Barista's are very nice, and remember the regulars - There's a lot of seating area CONS: - Sadly only 2 restrooms, and there's a lot of "accessibility" in the ladies restroom (so I've been told), but the lone men's potty is one person at a time, and can really back up a line. - I will say the staff needs to clean the bar area, the coffee servicing area in the middle, and the table tops more often. It gets filthy inside and here's where I deduct stars. - Also they need to refill the creamers and napkins more often For being a big location at a key intersection, and high traffic they doa decent job moving the orders along. I love walking in here! With the new renovations, it is so spacious and inviting! And, with that being said, it is very clean and new! Although this location is usually very busy, you can find parking fairly easily. When I want a perfect Starbucks drink, I make a point to come to this one. The service is very friendly and they actually have given me info on various drinks. One time I asked about the new Fizzio drinks and was told if the Spiced Root Beer one was too strong, I could come back to the counter & ask them to add cream to tone it down. I was also told that it would then be more like a root beer float. I didn't return, I drank it the way it was served. On another occasion, I overheard a Barista telling a customer all about the Clover machine & how it worked. I came in recently and the guy taking orders said he recognized me from Yelp and I think he mentioned something about the green tea frapp! So odd, but yet cool! My staple drink and most favorite one is the Matcha Green Tea Frappuccino!! With an extra scoop of Matcha!! This is most definitely my go to Starbucks location. While choosing what rubber tasting breakfast sand which I wanted a cute little fly popped out of nowhere. See exhibit A. I asked the lady if that's the sandwich I would be eating and she said yes. So great, no damn food Ok moving on to the drinks. I was feelin something with nitro in it because who in the hell wants oxygen in their coffee. I want that damn nitro. So I got a nitro black coffee. When I get it the lady hands me a cup with some weird hole at the top. I said where the hell is my damn straw she pointed to the sign. See exhibit B. I said give me 10 straws so I don't have to deal with this straw crap. Starbucks trying to save the world by not using straws but using non sustainable coffee fields for their garbage coffee. It's loud during their peak hours so I'm not too sure how people can work here with the noise but the staff here is very nice and it's pretty clean. It shares a parking lot with the pool store (right next door). But parking isn't hard to find. I use my Mobil app to avoid the wait. Out of experience if you're in a rush order a head.
