Our family loves a good local coffee spot, and this one was actually my daughter's pick this time. I've been here a couple times in the past, but it had been a few years, so I was curious to see how it held up. She wanted to come because her friend (who's gluten-free) swears by their homemade gluten-free pop tarts. First thing I noticed, it's definitely changed a bit. The big menu screens are gone and the menu is a lot more curated now. I'll admit, I was a little disappointed at first because a sandwich I used to love wasn't on there anymore, but the staff mentioned they rotate the menu pretty often to keep things fresh, which I actually appreciate. It was a little cold out, so I went with the tomato bisque and the croissant grilled cheese. The portion was on the smaller side, which honestly worked for me since I wasn't super hungry. But wow... the flavor. The tomato bisque was phenomenal. Like, genuinely one of the best I've had. It honestly rivals (and I don't say this lightly) some of the higher-end spots, and yes, even Panera's, which I love. We also ordered the crispy buffalo chicken wrap and that was really, really good. Super flavorful, not dry at all, and just packed with flavor. The croissant sandwich was also fresh, buttery, and exactly what you want from something like that. Of course, we had to try the gluten-free raspberry pop tart, and I get the hype. It was so good. Definitely more on the sweet side, so it felt more like a dessert, but I would absolutely order it again. Next time I want to try the blueberry one too. My daughter got the matcha (she's very into matcha and has opinions), and she said it was just okay. They do warn you it's unsweetened, so that may be part of it, but she gave it about a 3.5. One thing to note, this is more of a small, boutique-style coffee shop, not a quick grab-and-go place. We waited about 20 minutes for our food, but everything is made fresh, so it didn't bother us at all. Just something to keep in mind if you're in a rush. Overall, we really loved it. Great food, cozy vibe, and worth the wait. We'll definitely be back. Five stars!

Warm cozy coffee shop with some pastries, sandwiches and wraps. There is both indoor and (shaded) outdoor seating. This place can get busy but service was quick. I had to try their tiramisu iced latte & it was alright. It somewhat tasted like a tiramisu. But I can't say it was the best. Will have to try other lattes next time.

    Espresso Tonic, add banana puree!

We've been coming to The Coffee Class for years, it's one of my must-do spots when I'm here in Vegas! You can't go wrong with literally anything you order. Their food and pastries are all fresh and phenomenal. Their coffee drinks are so fun and delicious too, lots of options to customize and tons of flavors to pick from. I've had their banana bread latte recently and it's one of my favorites. This time, I got an espresso tonic and added banana puree to is, which I was a little nervous about but it came out to a good texture with the perfect balance of sweet and roast bitterness from the coffee. It makes for an incredibly unique flavor combination and I for sure will be coming back for more!

I stopped by Coffee Class and had a pretty mixed experience overall. I ordered the banana nut latte half sweet, but it still came out really sweet, almost like it might've been made regular. I also tried the brown butter latte, which I was excited about, but it didn't have much flavor and fell a little flat. Honestly, it felt like the sweetness levels might've been switched when the drinks were made. Food wise, I got the avocado toast and had requested the egg on the side, but it originally came out on top. To their credit, they fixed it quickly and without any hassle, which I appreciated. I also ordered the poblano bowl and that was the highlight super flavorful and definitely something I highly recommend. Overall, service was friendly and they were great about correcting the mistake. Drinks weren't quite there for me this visit, but the food (especially the poblano bowl) makes me open to giving them another try.

The coffee here was actually quite good, and at first glance the space looks calm and nicely designed. That said, the experience didn't match the atmosphere. The staff were singing--loudly and for an extended period--while we were trying to have a conversation, which became distracting and honestly a bit of a nuisance. We even glanced over hoping they'd take the hint, but it didn't change. It's a shame because the interior suggests a relaxed, quiet café vibe, and some soft background music would have fit much better. Instead, it felt more like a busy, chaotic spot--closer to a cheap café in a NY train station than a place to sit and talk comfortably. As for the food, it was just okay. The pastries were average, nothing particularly memorable or worth going out of the way for. Overall, decent coffee, but the atmosphere really needs to be managed better to match the space.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. The quality of the desert was fantastic. I didn't grab a drink so I will definitely be back for one and a pop tart.

Cute, clean & chill! I will say, I wouldn't come back for the food as it was just okay.. but absolutely going back for the coffee! The Banana Nut coffee was 10/10!

I drove all the way from Aliante to try this place and was disappointed because I wanted to seasonal pop tart that's been advertised. It was even advertised on the board when you first walk up but they told me they discontinued it days prior. I was super disappointed but ordered the biscuits and gravy with a strudel . The biscuits were OK & a little overcooked (hard) the gravy was decent to be vegan but a little salty for me. The strudel could have been softer but had good flavor.my dulce de leche coffee was delicious. It's a cute atmosphere and quaint I was just disappointed to have driven all that way & they not have what I wanted. Overall, it is a little pricey and I spent a little over $30 on. 3 items , not sure if I'd return.

The coffee class provides an elevated coffee experience like no other. It starts at the front door. This Henderson location has a grand chandelier right at the main entrance. I flew in and came here immediately after picking up our rental car. In this trip I have the biscuits and gravy. You couldn't even tell this was a vegan dish! Beautifully done!! My drink was a blueberry cobbler hot latte. I have severe dairy issues. Be sure you mention this to your cashier. This drink not only allows you to customize your dairy choice (oat milk for me) but it has a dairy foam on top. Mention your restrictions so the barista can point you in the correct direction on your drinks. This was a beautiful mid morning stop. Allowed me to update some emails, a quick zoom call, a great meal all while waiting to check into my hotel. The coffee class is your place ...

What A Beautiful Coffee Shop. I Absolutely Love The Aesthetic And Style Of The Brand. The Banana Bread Iced Coffee Is Insanely Good. I'm A Really Big Fan Of The Cookies And Creme And The Blueberry Muffin One. The Only Downside I Would Say Is The Price. Spent Over $20 For Me And My Sisters Drinks. But Overall Still Very Satisfied

This is a really nice coffee spot to relax, get some work done, or just hang out. It has an open, calming vibe, it's very clean, and the staff members seem to genuinely enjoy being there. They have been super friendly the two times I've gone in! The barista recommended the banana latte, and I normally hate anything banana-flavored... but this latte was AMAZING. I got it half sweet with oat milk, and I'm so glad I trusted her suggestion. Now I want to come back just to try the rest of their latte options. They also have a free self-serve water station with ice-cold water, which is a huge plus for me. I love when coffee shops offer that. I haven't tried their food or pastries yet, but I definitely plan to in the future. My only tiny downside is that the coffee is a bit pricey, around $10 after tip, but the quality makes it hard to complain. Overall, this is a great coffee shop with plenty of seating (both indoors and outdoors), lots of power outlets, excellent coffee, and great vibes. Highly recommend!

If you're looking for a coffee spot that goes beyond the basics, The Coffee Class is an absolute must-visit. From the moment you walk in, the friendly and efficient staff make you feel right at home. The atmosphere is welcoming, and everything runs smoothly--even during busy times. The food is where this place really shines. You have to try their homemade pop tarts--they're massive, freshly made, and honestly in a league of their own. It's not your typical grab-and-go pastry; it's a full-on treat. Their breakfast sandwiches are anything but ordinary, with creative combinations that elevate the usual morning staples. We also tried the Bacon Béarnaise Burger, and it was incredible--rich, flavorful, and totally unique. Definitely not something you see on every brunch menu. Whether you're stopping in for coffee or a full meal, The Coffee Class delivers on both quality and experience. This spot is a standout and absolutely worth checking out.

Ask the Community - The Coffee Class

Is there any entree that is gluten free here? Does this restaurant use a shared fryer for things like flour empanadas that would cross contaminate foods like gluten free home fries? I have Celiac disease and have to eat gluten free.

We don't have any fryers. We do have gluten free bread options for most sandwiches and toasts but we can't guarantee against cross contamination and as such we can't recommend our shop for someone with celiac disease.

Can you fill a large variety order for 30 people? I called and they said you do not cater.

Hi. Could you email me more about what you're looking for? Send to kyle@thecoffeeclass.com and I'll see what we can do :)

Is cash accepted as a payment?

    Yes

    Are there sugar free options?

We have a sugar free vanilla syrup

Do you need reservations to avoid a long wait time?

No reservations needed. It's usually easy to get seats. On weekends it's extremely busy but even then if you give it 15- 20 minutes usually seats open up inside or out.

Is the chicken pot pie still available during this time of year?

Hi Daisy, We will have chicken pot pies back in the fall. We dont have a date yet but probably sometime late September. Thank you!

    Is this place pet friendly?

They have a patio on the outside and you can hang out with your pet there and enjoy your coffee, etc., but I haven't see anyone take their pet inside the actual store.

Do you serve vegan options for your food items and specialty coffee drinks?

Absolutely! We have several drinks that can be vegan with oat or almond milk. Including hazelnut and vanilla lattes with espresso and our maple taro latte. Also the rose tea latte or lavender London fog can be vegan. Food wise, we have avocado toast… Read more

Is the smoke salmon toast still on the menu?

Yes it actually just came back for a limited time this weekend!

    Are you open on thanksgiving?

    We are closed :)

Do they have lavender syrup as an add-on for their lattes?

Yes we do! You can get it in any latte.

    Are there gluten free options?

Yes. Just ask which of the days baked options are GF.

    Hours of operation?

Hello. We are open 7am to 8pm daily and until 9pm Friday and Saturdays

But once you find the beautiful, ornate wooden door and step inside, you're transported into a charming little wonderland. The interior is unlike any other café in Las Vegas, with a greenhouse feel, small trees, unique décor, and plenty of cozy spaces to relax. The atmosphere is airy, whimsical, and fun. My favorite drink is the Iced Butterfly Latte, a delicious banana-flavored latte that's both unique and refreshing. I've also ordered the Berry Ricotta Brioche several times, and it's always amazing. The menu offers a great variety of pastries, sandwiches, desserts, and specialty drinks, so there's something for everyone. Pro tip: Find a table before ordering! This place gets very busy, and seating fills up quickly. If you're with friends or family, have someone save a table while the others order. Restrooms were really clean and had the same style decor too, so I appreciated that attention to detail. However, I docked 2 stars since I couldn't order anything. I arrived at 939pm, looked at the menu and decided on a slice of the Ube Crepe cake and one of the Apple Cinnamon macarons. They don't close until 10pm and people were still coming in, and there were still plenty of people sitting in the restaurant, but the staff didn't let me order anything at 945pm saying that she doesn't take any more orders after 930pm. What?!?! What the hell? You're open for a whole 30 more minutes and don't want to take my money - am I hearing that right? My friend had cash on him, and he was willing to pay cash if that's less of a hassle, and still no. It's not even to-go only, it was a flat-out no, before their 10pm closing time. THAT IS CALLED CRAP SERVICE. However, the 3 stars instead of 1 or 2 stars is because one anonymous employee who witnessed that go down changed my perspective of this spot. This person asked me not to reveal their identity on my Yelp review out of fear of getting in trouble. They overheard me trying to order but got turned away, then pointed to the macaron in a box in the fridge on display right there to my friend. So as I was walking towards the bathroom, this person (different than the girl who rudely turned me away) apologized for what happened and gave me the apple cinnamon macaron as a gift. That was so sweet of them. The macaron was absolutely perfect too, it was delicious - the perfect texture of the macarons, apple filling, in the center between the cream, with the crunch from I think they were dried apple bits on the side of the cream - amazing!!! But still insanely Vegas tourist trap rip off overpriced with the macaron that person gave me worth $8.35/piece. Honey & Butter Macarons in Irvine, CA or Durian Macarons at Sweet Mood in Westminster, CA, still keep their also delicious macarons under $5 each while having cute decor/ambiance (I'll admit they're not as impressive and unique as this spot though). But they're essentially banking on tourists not knowing any better and what things should actually be worth/gouging tourists as much as they can. Essentially, you're paying for the ambiance. Definitely not paying for the crap service. Food is good, but not astronomically priced good - you're kidding yourselves. You may be able to get away with stuff like that if you're inside one of the luxurious casinos on the Strip, like Venetian, Caesars, Bellagio, etc. But especially being off-strip, get a reality check. I may come back (thanks to your anonymous employee's kind gesture giving me that macaron), but it's more just to show my parents the cool ambiance.

From the moment I walked in to place my order, I could already feel that the staff member was unhappy and dismissive. I truly hope that wasn't the reason for the way I was treated, but it certainly felt that way. This isn't just my opinion anymore. Many of my friends have said the same thing: the cakes are excellent, but the customer service is consistently disappointing. People come because the products are great, not because they're treated well. Sadly, it feels like there's no hospitality--only attitude. My family and I have supported Suzuya since the very beginning, back when the first location opened on Durango. We've watched the business grow over the years, and it's honestly disappointing to see the customer experience decline. Ordering now feels like talking to a robot who simply doesn't care. I've always heard wonderful things about Mike, and from what I've seen, he seems like a genuinely kind person. I can't help but wonder how he would feel if he knew his customers were being treated this way by his staff. I'm usually not someone who complains or leaves negative reviews. It takes a lot for me to write something like this. But today's experience was frustrating enough that I felt it needed to be said. Yes, Suzuya makes fantastic cakes--but great products should never be an excuse for poor customer service. Loyal customers deserve to feel appreciated, not dismissed.

From the moment you walk in, it's giving soft, whimsical, almost too-pretty-to-eat energy--but trust me, you should eat everything. The cakes are impossibly light with that signature Japanese-style balance where sweetness never overpowers, just quietly lingers in the best way. What really stood out to me is how much restraint and craftsmanship goes into these desserts. Nothing is overdone, nothing feels gimmicky--it's just clean flavors, airy textures, and a level of detail that shows real skill. In a city full of over-the-top desserts, this place keeps it refined--and that's exactly why it stands out. I'll definitely be back to work my way through the entire case. Great service and ambience as well. I'll be returning v soon !

They also offer other sweets too such as creme brulee, mini cakes, and milk tea. The double fromage cheesecake was very light and not too sweet. I got the 4" for $21, and thought that was a bit pricey for the size of cheesecake I got. I've also had the oreo cake and that was good as well. I also tried the barley milk tea with full sweetness. Includes tapioca balls. I like that this milk tea with full sweetness was perfectly sweet. No need for adjustments.

I also tried their mango matcha which was probably one of the best I've had in awhile. The mango tasted fresh (not the artificial kind) and the drink wasn't very sweet overall. The mochi beignets were good and much chewier than regular beignets. Wish the place was bigger, it's a bit cramped once inside so I had to dine outside on the hot benches. I'm already thinking of visiting again the next time I'm in town!

No line, tables available and plenty of mango mochi available. It's a small cafe and I can see how tight it can get with a long line. We ordered one mango mochi, 6 mochi beignets with yuzu dipping sauce, a Jokoy sandwich with the ketchup and mayo on the side, a yuzu lemonade and cold brew. They brought everything to the table for us. I loved the sweetness of the mango with the cream in the mochi. Honestly I wish I didn't have to share it with my partner, but since we got the beignets also it was probably for the best. The mochi beignets, or moignets were really good. I thought it would be heavy but the balance of mochi inside the puffed dough worked really well. I think I preferred it without the dipping sauce - not too sweet that way. The Jokoy sando was good and reminded me of breakfast sandwiches I would have when I was little. There was literally no one in the cafe when we were eating so I was able to grab another mango mochi to go real easily. The cashier was nice. I would go again, but definitely early to avoid crowds.
