Skip the green siren lady and head to the Coffee Loft. It's not exactly on the main strip, but it's a really nice spot with a small amount of parking and a ton of space inside. As for the coffee? Yum. I had a double latte, which turned out to be way more coffee than I expected. Sure, the milk art was lacking (who really cares?) but the coffee was quite rich and very strong. They have some pastries, but not a tremendous amount. My chocolate croissant was good. Wifi worked well, there were plenty of power outlets and enough seating of different kinds. I liked it! Great experience! The working staff were very patient and explained everything thoroughly! The choices of lattes , where endless! I got the almond joy with coconut and it was amazing , the sweetness and density of the foam was perfect! My boyfriend got the white mocha latte which was equally yummy. We split the Hawaiian panini which was nice and hot , with the warm cheese melting and fresh pineapples giving a sweet taste to it. Then we ate the apple danish with cheese and ending up getting a second one w raspberry. Overall great atmosphere and cool artwork everywhere! read more

This place was so cute! I've only been once so I'm judging on first impressions but it was the perfect spot to catch up with my friend! They have a cute meditation room in the back and they have a good selection of coffees, pastries and some breakfast foods. We had the gluten free avocado toast and I would NOT suggest it (it seemed like bread and it was little smashed avocado on gluten free bread-not too good), but the gluten free blueberry muffins was SO good and the coffee was good! This is a great local coffee shop! The staff is always super friendly! The quiche is out of this world! - wow I could go on and on. They have a good selection of coffees and teas. Their selection of goodies and snacks is always fresh. You have to try the quiche ( I am not a huge quiche fan but I absolutely love theirs!) I will most definitely be frequenting this place even just to read a book on their patio in the summer or to catch up with friends. They have a small parking lot right outside their door which is super convenient on those cold days when choosing to go there over the ease of a coffee drive thru is hard! read more

Don't bother writing anything about this business as they come back at you with lies. The owner accused me of being a smoker and bring camping gear into her business! Miss Jackie I don't know what you do for drugs but you clearly need help. I go there every other week and get a large iced coffee . I don't normally sit in the boho rooom but was told it was calm and relaxing in there. I normally get my iced coffee to go because of the infriendlyness of your staff. My rating for this place is very low. Go attack someone else and get some help for what ever problem you have read more

What a great local gem! I've been looking for local coffee shops to replace my chain coffee habits, and I'm so happy I found this place. On my first visit I had a bee sting latte and a vegan/gluten free muffin and both were excellent. The staff were also super friendly and the shop has a great atmosphere. Stopped in and got the Avocado Toast. Unfortunately the bread was barely toasted and the avocado was unseasoned. I'm ok with plain avocado but usually when presenting it as "Avocado Toast" I would think it should have a flavor. It was just an OK experience. read more

Really cute place. Super friendly staff. However, the coffee was extremely bitter with a harsh flavor. I like lattes and I never add sugar. I was unable to drink this without sugar so I threw it out. Not sure if it was just a bad batch of beans, a poor roast, or the barista espresso machine skills. I've only been here the one time so I'm leaving it at 3 stars but would be interested in others experience if this coffee. read more

This place is a total disappointment. The space would be cute, but the walls are dirty, every table is covered in crumbs, the upholstered seats and couch are dirty and stained and i don't think they've ever swept the floor. I ordered an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich and it took 20 minutes to come out. They were not busy. Twenty minutes for pre-cooked eggs. Ugh. My boyfriend got a banana muffin which tasted like fake banana flavor. I live up the street and would've loved a great coffee shop to frequent but I'll never be back. read more

I was at CL today. Wow, my first visit. I was excited as I love Jims Organic. However, the vibe, service and overall energy of the shop is fantastic. More spacious and roomy than most coffee shops, with a whole area in the back - far better than Starbucks, with better options for coffee and tea drinks than most places. When I went, I was on a temporary coffee-free, dairy-free, and sugar-free diet (I know, I'm no fun), so I couldn't partake in their delicious-sounding offerings like peanut butter brittle latte, and other special flavors. I did get a mate latte with almond milk, and was happy there were things that I could actually have. Prices are pretty much in line with Starbucks - an iced coffee was $2.70, a large tea is $3.15, and I paid $0.75 to make it a tea latte ($0.25) with almond milk ($0.50). There were maybe 6-7 tables / chairs to work at in the front; we were a group of 4 and someone working there was kind enough to direct us to the back where there was a large room with paintings on the wall and a kitchen. It was quiet, peaceful, and the WiFi worked well. The WiFi is free, just ask them for the password at the front. They had 2 bathrooms, both of which were clean, spacious, and well maintained. I'd come back here if I was in the area. The only gripe was that there wasn't a lot of parking in the lot (only room for 4-5 cars), but I was able to find parking on the street right in front. Solid offering of coffee drinks, teas, baked goods, quiche, KIND bars, and other snacks, so you should be able to find something that caters to your taste. read more

We all have our own idea of what the ideal and "perfect" coffee shop should look and feel like, and this place is my idea of coffee shop perfection, and this is why it's getting 5 stars, in comparison to other similar coffee shops I've visited. My first impression was the interior design/decoration. Between the brick and beam structure, the track lighting, the original artwork, and the nicely selected tables, chairs and couches, they clearly put a lot of effort and thought into making their business comfortable, intimate, and someplace you want to stay and relax. You really feel at peace and at home here. The employees are very pleasant, approachable and helpful. They also add to the ambience of the place, and I found them very friendly and enjoyable. As a first time visitor, that's important, and they do a nice job of making you feel welcomed. I was also very impressed with the coffee and selection of pastries and other food. They even offer a quiche that I didn't have, but certainly plan on next time! The choices they have are plentiful, and they seem to offer many varied choices, and have something for everyone. Overall, I'm am very impressed with this business. I will definitely be back, and will certainly tell my friends and family. If you don't just come for the coffee and hanging out for a nice quiet moment, then come for the great art, pastries, friendly service and great atmosphere. I stopped in here to buy some pastries for staff and was DELIGHTED to find a whole row of gluten free muffins and even gluten free DONUTS!!! My husband has Celiac disease and hasn't had a donut in forever. I got him the GF pumpkin donut and he said "OMG. It tastes amazing!" Totally tastes like a gluten donut . What a hidden gem of a coffee shop! We'll be back for sure read more

Solid coffee shop in a converted mill building. The cappuccinos are pretty standard, nice consistency and they actually taste like they have been made with espresso, instead of a glass of warm milk, which happens too much around here. The Coffee Loft is a nice place to hang out, with a mix of seating options which includes a very comfortable couch. The walls double as an art gallery which when I went featured a local photographer. This isn't a coffee shop worth traveling for, but if you're in Marlborough already you should check it out. read more

I consider this place my second home. Their Asiago bagels are my favorite among with all of their iced coffees. Jackie never fails to brighten my day. Their bohemian room is perfect for chilling with friends or if you need quiet time to study. The mugs they use are all so cute and creative. Cute cafe/coffee shop utilizing massive COVID restrictions to create a safe environment. The baristas were so sweet, so nice and most accommodating. I wanted a chai but they serve Oregon Chai (ick) but they must have seen my dismay because they offered to brew a Masala Chai tea and make a fresh chai latte. It was tasty for sure. The let down was the oat milk latte. I feel like the espresso wasn't pulled well as the drink tasted burned. Thankfully, my blissful chai saved the day. Parking is mentioned a lot on the website and I can why. I had to tuck my SUV into a tight spot. Read well where to park as it's a bit tricky. Service was a bit slow but I wasn't in a rush. I had a giggle reading the other reviews and laughed to read one server was barefoot. They had pretty diverse staff and they were all very friendly and seemed committed to the restaurant and good service. They also seemed to know the menu quite well and proud that the restaurant makes everything from scratch! I got chimmichuri steak flat bread and my friend got a salad. We shared the seasoned fries. I would not think of these flat breads as pizza. Once you've mentally made that jump, the food is really good. I enjoyed it and it was a good amount as well. My friend also ordered food to go for her partner and our server was great to helping us time that order so it was ready for when we were leaving and still hot. Amazing service with great food and cute neighborhood. I think you can get dessert here but there's also a fun micro creamery across the street that was another delicious way to push deeper into food coma for the night!

Opened my coffee in my car to see it was only 3/4 full and that's including the foam which was really annoying. Would've gone back in but the coffee tasted so bitter and gross and the place was incredibly dirty when I was in there (don't get me started on bathrooms, ew) so I didn't bother going back in, not worth it.
