I just got a cold brew with one pump of flavor, and this guy, who has been very rude up to this point, pours at least 4oz of flavor into my only maybe 10oz cup. First my drink tasted awful, all I got was syrup in the first sip and this strange black pepper taste. I've been here twice in about a weeks time. Visiting from NJ I was there on a nice, sunny, but chilly, Saturday. The place was buzzing with folks and the older gentleman at the counter was talkative and super friendly. We ordered two teas and a blueberry scone. We sat outside to listen to the acoustic entertainment while we sipped. The tea was nice - but how can you mess up a teabag and hot water!? The scone - well, lets just say we now refer to this as "the incident with the stone". It was so hard that we took turned trying to break it against the metal table edge!!! Yuck! lol Second time was with my daughter and it was a quiet, drizzly, Weds. We needed warming up. There was no one there, just one younger man who was on the phone at one of the blocked off, inside, tables. He seemed perturbed we bothered him. We ordered two chai lattes. They were very good but the entire time he made them he was on speaker phone with a credit card compnay kind of yelling - it was not comfortable - so we looked around - you know, like you do when you don't want to show you can hear but obviously can! lol The place needs a very serious scrubbing down - so cute, but wow - clean it up before summer hits!! read more

The coffee is delicious (that's coming from a barista of many years), the food is a delectable little snack (not a meal so don't expect to fill up), and the staff is direct and efficient. Coffee was served warm but not hot like it had been sitting for hours. Creamer was in a Costco sized container with a small plastic spoon at the bottom. Untold number of hands have been digging around that creamer, not sanitary during a pandemic. Wife had a bagel with cream cheese with a very generous helping of cream cheese. I had a bagel with ham/cheese which was a bit overpriced for the portions. Overall I will look for someplace else in the future. read more

A cozy little shop, in an alley off the main drag leading to the beach. There's a number of shaded tables available outside, with a few seats inside. The strong scent of flavored coffees foreshadows the menu. On a recent afternoon, they were out of croissants, so I tried a breakfast sandwich (sausage, egg, cheese) on a bagel. It was reasonably executed, but begged for the option of hot sauce, pepper, salsa, or something to add some flavor dimension. Espresso was unfortunately harsh, without the smoothness that comes from an experienced barista's touch. The pastries were so-so. All in all, a nice spot to linger and "good enough" by beach standards, but pretty average otherwise. If it didn't have the outdoor seating, I'd have dropped my rating to 3 stars. read more

Horrible customer service. Owner threw a $1 at me because he overcharged me and told me and my friends "to get the hell out and go to Dunkin Donuts". He tried charging me for something I didn't order and I told him 4 times it's not what I wanted. He just said "trust me". He yelled and treated all of his employees horribly. Best coffee I've had in Rehoboth, and they have SO many options!! The place is very small and is in one of the side streets off of Rehoboth Ave, so I just assumed the menu would be pretty basic - I was totally wrong!! They have like 10+ flavor shots and every kind of dairy/dairy substitute you could want, plus a ton of options for the actual coffee as well! I had the snickerdoodle coffee, as in the actual coffee beans were snickerdoodle, and it was SO good!! I had it iced with oat milk, highly recommend. I walked in spontaneously on my way between early Christmas shopping at the book store and Sea Bags. Asked at the counter for a coffee with Splenda and half and half. Gentleman said Splenda and half and half are behind me and hands me a coffee. I pay - and tip 20% because people are still hurting after Covid. I take my coffee to add Splenda and half and half and there no half and half. Gentlemen says "what's there is all we have". Coffee mate, like the powder kind you spoon into your coffee WTH? Why not say that before you sell me something you don't have? Moreover, who sells coffee as their main product without the additions that coffee drinkers typically request? I live locally and this is hands down the worst coffee experience I've had. I left the cup of coffee on the counter. Keep my money, dude. I don't drink coffee, but this is an excellent place for breakfast. Pastries, cider, and a nice seating area outdoors (couple of tables indoors as well). Who gives a crap about good coffee if your crying in it? The dickhead at the counter (possibly the owner? Big blue glasses and a shitty attitude?) dragged me to a new sight-shaming low when I asked him gently where I might find napkins and he stood back, hands on hips and shouted "it's over THERE where it says NAPKINS NAPKINS NAPKINS" in a tone so nasty the entire store (a line out he door) stopped talking and stared at me. As a LEGALLY BLIND PERSON. I felt COMPLETELY humiliated. I found the still poorly labeled container of napkins nailed to the space between two windows and left feeling like I'd been punched in the face. I sat out in the courtyard, my second day on vacation from treating my patients with posttraumatic stress disorder, and imagined various scenarios in which I will go back in there and punch that dickfuck in the face. Perhaps even using the napkin container to do it. But in the usual style of the one who is stigmatized and ashamed, I felt unwilling to take any further risk upon my own character and instead sat there until I felt well enough to be seen in the world again. I really hope that the rest of his day sucked and that eventually somebody will come along and punch him in the face the way he deserves. As for the coffee it was fine. A nice gourmet coffee shop in downtown Rehoboth Beach with tasty coffee and a decent selection of fresh pastry. We get our morning or afternoon coffee here every time we visit Rehoboth. It's conveniently located just off the main street, few steps from the beach. It's always nice to chat with one of the owners and find a brief oasis away from the heat. This was a nice place tucked away. The family, 11 month old and a 3 year Old were going to attempt brunch at a restaurant but knew they would hold up for a wait. We stumbled here thinking we would just get coffee and maybe a bagel. Well to our surprise I had a great lox, capers, tomato and onion on an everything bagel, the wife had a sausage egg and cheese, and the drinks were fantastic, iced coffee, frozen coffee and the kids had a blueberry crumb with a fruit smoothie.
