What a cute find! Adel is so welcoming. The variety of coffees and customizations make it easy for anyone to indulge in the delicious treats at this place. Lavender latte and the organic honey turmeric latte are amazing!

PROS: atmosphere is very cafe-like while the food and drinks are affordable, fresh, and served fast. The owner is extremely friendly and despite the size of the place there's a lot of seating CONS: the place is tiny inside and during the morning it can become cramped if a lot of people choose to come here at once OVERALL: if you're looking for a ma and pa coffee place this is where to go. The owner is friendly and the products are amazing

I love the coffee here, I think it is really tasty! It has a delicious, deep coffee flavor, and you can taste that the beans are fresh. The service is lovely, always very nice and chatty. It is a really cute coffee shop with nice options for pastries, and an adorable back patio to sit at while you sip.

Wonderful experience at the coffee place , the ambience, coffee , fresh sandwich , protein bars , everything is tastefully made . The owner is super warm and welcoming . Also tried the açai menu that was amazing too ! All in all a great experience! Will try to come back next time we're in town! A must try place :-)

    Medium Cold Brew + Caramel

I've spent the past 8 days in Millburn, and I've purchased this coffee at least 8 times--I don't usually write reviews and yet I was driven by my sheer LOVE of this cold brew to share with the world. This is the best cold brew I've had in my life: I get it black with caramel. It's refreshing and almost fruity, and it's my post-run drink every morning. I can't speak to any of the other drinks, but the cold brew here is truly spectacular. The owner is super friendly and clearly knows his coffee well (he explained he's been running this store for 10+ years and makes his own cold brew/nitro every day). The specialty lattes sound awesome too, and there's a good selection of baked goods and pastries! I am going to miss this place when I leave the town. Small businesses have been struggling since covid, and nothing makes me happier than to recommend and support The Coffee Mill Roasters!! It's right off of Millburn Ave, on Main Street by the Starbucks. Everyone should give this place a try :)

Bathroom needs improvement. Soap and toilet papers. This particular section is very important in the "new world" we are leaving. Fall season is great to try new flavors including lavender and the old classic pumpkin flavor coffee

Great coffee shop in downtown Millburn! This is probably the only coffee shop besides Starbucks that opens before 8am. Parking in downtown Millburn is usually a nightmare but if you're here before 8am, it shouldn't be an issue. The owner is so friendly and always seems to have a smile on his face. He really takes his time to make each cup of coffee even when there's a line to the door! Sure the wait is a bit longer, but it's totally worth it. The lattes here really stand out as they're stronger than the lattes that I usually get. The matcha latte is just okay. They don't use enough matcha powder. The pastry display always looks amazing! I had to hold myself back and just get one thing. The bread pudding here is delicious...I've never had bread pudding quite like this one. The texture is definitely more like bread but I really liked it. It is on the drier side so it might not be for everyone. If it weren't for the location, I would definitely come here more often.

Great coffee shop, owner is very kind. They seem to have an interesting drink menu and I'd love to try out more. My matcha was made well, frothy how it should be! The owner is very kind. I overheard that there is a one hour minimum for seating, so be aware if you are planning to sit to do work or catch up with a friend on the time constraint.

Over priced, poor service. Regret going here and strongly recommend against it. Go to any of the other many good coffee places around. My wife went in to get gelato, was charged 15 dollars (see price below). When we asked why the cost after paying, the owner angrily refused to explain or refund for the double charge. Sadly, we try to always support small business but not this one ever again.

I was excited to try this place as it had good reviews and who doesnt love a local coffee shop. Maybe was a off day but I had the worst experience ever. Ill start with the service in the shop. They guy who Im assuming is the owner was not friendly I walked in he just stared I had to greet him and say I want to order. then he was rushing and condensending to the female employee that worked there which Im sure put added stress on her and caused her to create mishaps 1 was they over charged me adding a large drink to my order I had to go back and get corrected. The drinks I did get caramel & a toffee taste like old over roasted coffee with no flavor added. but to make matters worst. I got home to enjoy my empanada I got from there bit into it an though this is really dry then it taste a bit weird come to find out it was old as it had mold all over it. Im so turned off by that place never again. I will go eslewhere

Finally got to experience this place after hearing of it for more than 2+ years! I've heard at…read moretimes this Coffee spot can be pretty packed, so I feel like I came on a really good day. First off: Service. I told the employee that this was my first time there, and they were more-than-happy to help me make a decision for my order. Patient and walked me through. Second: The Food. Let's get into it. 1) Cassava Latte ($7.50) - I was so pleasantly suprised at this drink; described as "(i)nspired by the Filipino dessert cake, made with condensed milk and coconut." The first sip, and I was intrigued! It was perfectly sweet, and the perfect mix of that coconut-dessert taste that cassava typically delivers! It tasted genuine, if that's possible. 2) Sinigang Croquette ($5.00) - This was interesting. Described as "Pork and Gabi (taro) shaped into a patty, rolled in Japanese bread crumbs, and deep fried. Served with our in-house sawsawan (dipping sauce)", it hit all the right notes. To be honest? $5.00 for 1 felt a bit steep. I'd pay $7.50 for two, though! 3) Boy Bawang Shio Pan ($7.50) - This was the most curious of all my purchases. Described as an "(i)n-house salt bread rolled in garlic and corn crumbs, filled with roasted garlic butter, topped with corn cheese whip. Inspired by the popular Filipino snack: Boy Bawang. THIS ITEM I SING ITS PRAISES. I am an absolute lover of the Boy Bawang Garlic Flavor Corn Snack --- much more pungent than anything Corn Nuts could ever offer. This Shio Pan absolutely delivered with its roasted garlic flavor! And as soon as you take a few bites ---- you get hit with that roasted garlic butter --- and let me tell you, they are not shy about their filling! Absolute master class --- but it's only for a limited run. You should definitely try! Third: Ambiance - The Cafe is quaint --- and has a seating area that could maybe fit between 18-24 people? It's just along the side of the business, but I managed to get a table for myself. Ayala, you did not disappoint! Can't wait to try your Sisig Flatbread for the next round!

I had the sisig flatbread and the pork croquette. The sisig flatbread had very unique and complex flavors. I thought it was very creative. The croquette was fresh and tasty, but it was truly the sauce that came with it that was the star of the show. It bold and vinegary and tasted great with the sisig flat bread as well. I tried a bit of my friend's pandan waffle and it was quite tasty! I could really taste the pandan. Now the bad. The ube latte was mediocre. I asked for mine with matcha, but I really couldn't even taste the matcha. I think next time I might try their other drinks to see if there is a difference. However, I was really expecting better. Overall: I'd say the food is better than the drinks, which is a bit of a disappointment because I was hoping for both to be out of this world. The service was good and the staff was very kind. I also enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant as well.
