If you're anywhere near Huntington Beach, do yourself a favor and stop by The Coffee Tale -- I'm genuinely obsessed. I'm someone who drinks coffee daily and frequents a lot of different coffee shops, so I don't say this lightly... their coffee is AMAZING. Every cup is smooth, rich, and consistently perfect. You can tell they really care about quality. Beyond the coffee, the whole experience is what sets this place apart. The vibe is warm, welcoming, and just the kind of spot you want to linger in. Their sweets are just as impressive -- fresh, delicious, and the perfect pairing with your drink. And the staff? Truly some of the kindest people you'll meet. The owner is incredibly sweet and creates such a genuine, positive atmosphere that you can feel the moment you walk in. This place checks every box for me -- great coffee, great people, great energy. Don't miss it if you're in the area!

Cute little coffee shop in the old world HB. The atmosphere is very chill and a great way to start the day. Plenty of seating and friendly staff. The coffee was great and they had lots of different options as well as small bites.

The coffee table has every type of coffee, including Turkish coffee. Today, I had a dark chocolate coconut latte, which was delicious. Their baklava is excellent very authentic. This coffee shop located in The Old World Village in Huntington Beach makes it seem like a European café. The service is terrific and everything on the menu looks delicious.

First time here and it was so delicious! The owner is so friendly and accommodating. The inside is so cute!

Came over during the holiday season. This area is fully decorated, and has a good holiday spirit. There is a Christmas market outside of the coffee shop. This coffee shop gave me a Turkish vibes. Cashier was friendly, and service was fast. I ordered a dark chocolate latte with oak milk. The coffee was on the pricey side, and the taste was not as good as I expected. Parking was difficult. The parking lot is a bit small, and it was full. Not likely to stop by again.

The good: We got two fall seasonal drinks: Turkish fog (like a London fog but made with Turkish decaf tea) and a toasted marshmallow and caramel. We also tried a Boston cream pie cake that was tasty and wasn't too sweet. The drinks were good and were served warm. They were sweet without being overly sweet. I liked that my toddler was able to enjoy the decaf Turkish fog. The interior had Moroccan lanterns, Turkish decor, Christmas decor and was dog-friendly. They had both indoor and outdoor seating. I liked that their seasonal menu had a lot of options (including pumpkin spice lattes!). The parking lot had fun phrases like "good night" in French. The bad: The toasted marshmallow latte was supposed to come with cookie crumbles but didn't. The interesting: They played cool music like Phantogram but it seemed to becoming from just a speaker by the window so I'm unsure if it was from the cafe or from an individual customer's phone/computer. They're located in the Old World Village so there's a European/German flair outside.

The Coffee Tale is a turkish coffee shop located in Old World Village that serves organic coffee drinks. [Parking]: There's a designated private parking lot for Old World Village, but the lot can get super packed and I highly recommend visitors to park at the alternative parking structure at 7767 Center Ave (there will be a sign that directs visitors to this structure during the busy holiday season). [Atmosphere]: Cozy atmosphere and the shop gave this classic tea house vibe with Mediterranean vibe. Free Wi-Fi, but due to limited capacity there is a 2-hour limit with each purchase. There also a small outdoor patio area. [Menu]: The top Yelp highlights are Dark Chocolate Latte and Chai Latte. Customers can request for flavored syrup for an extra $0.75 to their coffee drinks. They do offer Turkish coffee for anyone who's interested in something different. *** Cinnamon Dirty Chai Latte ($6.95 + extra $0.75 with Dark Chocolate): I will have to admit I wasn't expecting the drink to taste this good - smooth finish & not overwhelming sweet. Baklava ($3.25): Tiny portion (I was able to finish this dessert in two bites), but it tasted great with a hint of molasses aftertaste. *** A nice cafe to check out in Old World Village. Visitors can also walk around the village with Christmas market vendors during weekends in November/December and The Biergarten at Old World HB.

Being born and raised in the HB/Westminster area, I never once stepped into Old World Village. And now I'm wondering why not?! It's so cute and adorable in this little shopping center transformed into some place right out of Europe! My sister and I stopped by this cute little coffee shop along with my two kiddos. We shared a Turkish spinach pastry and I had the Double Chocolate Coconut Latte. I'd say the pastry is an 8/10. Nice and flaky and flavoring was as expected. The latte was for sure a 10/10. Delicious! Service was friendly and helpful. And honestly, coming here just for the ambiance isn't a bad reason. So cute!

This coffee shop is so cute. The outdoor seating is flowery and the shop is in a great location in this little german town. The coffee and tea is so good. The service and quick and friendly.

one tea was $6. it seemed a bit overpriced to me. it didn't feel very cozy inside, although i imagine that was the goal. the decor is nice, but it's very loud because of the fans. will not be returning, just doesn't seem worth it compared to other cafes with higher quality drinks & nicer interiors.

    1. The latte was blended nicely with hints of raspberry! Not too much ice! 2. The spot has cute casual vibes! The interior is definitely cozy with cool decor! 3. This spot has both indoor and outdoor seatings! Small number of tables for both areas! 4. Two parking lots that can get crowded if there is an event! Spots are double-lines and not compact! 5. The staff was friendly and timely with my drink! It took less than 10 mins! Note: I did not easily see a bathroom available for customers! It would be good to check with the staff! Come on a Friday if you want to try their cinnamon roll pancakes. Comfy cozy cafe. Cool people who all worked together. We never went without anything we needed. Started with a caramel latte and vanilla latte. Perfect frothiness! Moved onto a fitness scramble with potatoes instead of rice with a side of English muffin- perfectly buttered and toasted btw. Side of a single buttermilk pancake and bacon. It's cool you can order singles of any of their pancakes or French toast! Also got the French toast combo. Bacon was crispy and yummy. Nothing was overly oily like some cafes. Servers pointed out their three homemade salsas as well as their maple and boisenberry syrups! All the shakers and bottles were clean and not sticky. Definitely will be back on a Friday to try their cinnamon roll pancakes!! 10/10 recommend. Reasonable prices, good portions, solid service.

Places tucked away in a shopping center next to a fitness place, a liquor store and an insurance company. The sign is not huge so you really do have to know it's here. When you walk up the first thing you see is the outdoor dining area which is covered tents over tables which is really nice. I'm assuming that was when covid was a thing and most people had to eat outdoors. Regardless, this place is pretty popular as they have a podium and a guest list out front. I was able to walk right in and grab a booth at the back. I'm glad I did, such a great fun place to check out and see what kind of wonders they have in store The ambiance of the restaurant is a little bit dark, but they do have lights but it feels like a very cozy dimly lit hometown Cafe/ coffee shop I settled in with a cup of coffee, and ordered the combo which was two pancakes or french toast, two slices of bacon, and two eggs. Eggs any style. Of course I had to order my glass of milk with breakfast to see if they're paying attention. They passed the glass of milk test with flying colors! The food was good, absolutely solid and what a great little place to have breakfast. The wait staff is very on point and was ready to make suggestions and offer casual conversation. The bottom line? I would definitely hit this place up again whenever I'm in Huntington Beach. You should definitely give it a go and I highly suggest the combo as the pancakes are stellar!

I like this location more than others because of the bigger parking lot, more seating options (including an upstairs area and outdoor seating), and I've also received better service here compared to other locations. The place is simply decorated, and it honestly is a solid spot if you're looking to crank out some work or meet with colleagues/friends. It does get pretty crowded so it's better to get an early head start if you can, especially on the weekends. In terms of their drinks, my favorite is the blueberry lavender matcha latte. It's on the sweeter side and has a floral aftertaste, but the flavors mix really well together. I typically get their matcha drinks or teas because I'm not a fan of coffee, but my friends that are coffee fiends are fans of the various coffee drinks here. Compared to other cafes, I feel like the cost of the drinks is standard, but the prepared food and pastries are on the steeper side. The location has plenty of parking and plenty of seating. There is an outdoor patio, and inside there is a first floor seating area, and a second floor seating area. The interior had high ceilings and modern practical decor. Staff will take your order at the cashier, but they also have a kiosk if you want to avoid human interaction. I was here for a few hours, so I started off with a hot beverage since I saw that they have mug service. I had the hot Churro Latte ($8.15/large) and I was warned it's a bit sweet so staff suggested that I get it less sweet. I appreciated the gesture but maybe that's why I didn't taste too much of the churro flavor. It tasted like a good regular latte but maybe they held back on the caramel and cinnamon to the point I couldn't detect it. Seating is first come first serve. It was actually really busy and difficult to find an ideal spot. Since I was alone I sat at a high top ledge, strategically near an outlet. From what I saw, they had a really good amount of outlets in the indoor seating area. Later on I went back and ordered an iced Blueberry Lavender Matcha with Cold Foam ($9.25/large) and a Deluxe Avocado Toast ($15) which comes with egg, bacon, and herb oil. I like that this location serves the avocado toast with a knife and fork cause it was much needed. It was a bit on the wet side. Maybe I should ask for light herb oil next time. For how much this avocado toast cost, I would have liked more avocado. The avocado was more of a spread, not whole slices of avocado. Still good, just an observation. The blueberry lavender matcha was okay. I could taste the lavender but it was overpowering the matcha and the blueberry was hard to detect at all. Honestly the location and plentiful seatings is what stood out most from this experience. I would consider coming back since I know their products are good from trying their other locations but I wouldn't get the drinks I ordered this time. For how expensive coming here was, I wish I was a little more satisfied.

Calamari was plentiful in serving, comes with a sauce and I really liked their sauce, it has citrusy taste. The spicy wontons are a crowd favorite as well for me. It definitely puts it on the top spot of spicy wontons I've tried from other spots. THE DAO (yes, it needed the caps lock on the name), this is my top appetizer from this cafe. The vibe is cozy and welcoming, with a steady buzz of customers that shows just how popular this spot is. My fiancé got the iced sweet cream latte and absolutely loved it! smooth, perfectly balanced sweetness, and the espresso was top-notch. I went with the iced Americano topped with banana cold foam, and wow, it was a game changer! The banana foam was creamy, flavorful, and not overly sweet, pairing beautifully with the bold espresso. Both drinks were prepared and refreshed us instantly. The only minor downside is parking, which can be a bit tricky, but the location is clearly thriving with tons of foot traffic and business out front, so it's totally understandable. Once you're inside, the excellent drinks and friendly service more than make up for it. We'll definitely be back soon highly recommend this place if you're looking for quality coffee and a great local atmosphere! 4.5 stars in my personal opinion
