Apparently this place has been open for 3 years and I just found out about it. The place offers both indoor and outdoor comfy seating, with a pier view from some of the outdoor spots. The inside had ample space to meet up with friends. Service was quick and courteous. They have a pastry case but I didn't try the pastries this time, they did look good though. I got a mocha which was properly served in a ceramic mug with a design on top. The mocha was delicious from the first sip. WARNING! Parking is all metered around here unless you park in the garage, and you have to pay even on Sunday. I parked in metered parking, and at just 5 minutes over I got a $68.50 ticket ($65+$3.50 processing fee). Literally 5 minutes, as if the meter maid was hiding in a bush in front of my car, jumped out, ticketed and disappeared back into the bush. Embarrassed it's taken me so long to review this Huntington Beach coffee shop. 1 Oz Coffee has one of the trendiest setups in HB. This surf-themed cafe is walking distance from the sand and is located a street over from downtown -- making it the perfect sipping stop for locals and tourists alike. I personally love their ever changing menu of signature lattes. This spot is often on my weekend walking itinerary, so it's nice to pop in and try something new every visit. Unfortunately I don't have the willpower to pass up an ube latte, so I find myself ordering this drink frequently as well. While 1 Oz isn't known for their food, they do offer a number of tasty bites! The cafe serves baked goods and more hardy options like avocado toast, salads, pancakes, and bagels. I wasn't wow-d by the previous croissant I ordered, so I'll have to keep sampling others. I get warm and fuzzies browsing the jewelry and bikini stands set up outside of their shop. I love that they include other local businesses, it really gives this coffee shop a community feel. read more

Parking: parking situation in downtown Huntington Beach is a bit tricky. Most options are metered parking, $4/hour. If you get lucky, you may find some residential street parking but it's still a walk to 1 oz coffee. It is a lovely area to walk around. Service: the barista was very kind and very fast. He took my order and made my drink very quickly. Ambiance: the coffee shop is so nicely decorated! I love the pink interior. It's nice and quiet, lots of seating space for chatting or studying. Drink: mango matcha latte (9/10)- it was very delicious, the mango flavor was so fresh and tasted real (not artificial tasting). Loved how creamy the mango flavor was and how well it paired with the matcha. Definitely one of my favorite mango matcha lattes. I will note that you cannot modify the sweetness level of this drink since the mango milk is premade, for anyone who is not fond of sweeter drinks. I would definitely go here more often if it wasn't for the parking situation. read more

Visiting a friend and wanted to find a local coffee shop with a view of the water. It was so easy because it was in downtown Huntington Beach, there's neighborhood parking, the beach is right in sight, and next to a hotel so when we grabbed our coffee and food, we're able to sit outside in their patio chairs, but after that we were able to walk around towards the beach and then ended up around the neighborhood. The drinks and the food were so delicious! The service was awesome as well. You can sit inside or outside in the ambience is calming. This was probably around 11 AM and around 11:30 to 12, people from the hotel started coming in so there were families and kids. Got a little bit louder, but there's so much opportunity to chill out inside or walk around. read more

I drove up here for a morning yoga and coffee rave from San Diego and haven't explored Huntington much. I was pleasantly surprised to enjoy this place for the event because it's the type of spot I would naturally vibe with. I saw someone order the savory sourdough waffle prosciutto avocado and it was delish! I also got the ceremonial grade matcha with rose and lavender. Amazing. I love all the pink decor. New month! New coffee shop discovery! 1 oz Coffee shop is a fairly new coffee shop in Huntington Beach. The original locations are in the San Francisco Bay Area but now they are in Surf City! They opened up in Huntington Beach about 8 months ago and it such a cute coffee shop! Walking in; I knew this was my kinda spot. I absolutely adored that it had pink walls and pink chairs. It even has a little light up sign that says "Good vibes only." Aside from good and (cute vibes); this spot has yummy pastries like pistachio and strawberry croissants and different lattes like matcha lattes, vanilla bean lattes and ube lattes! I was definitely sold on this spot when I saw ube! I was even more excited I saw they have latte flights! Wow! I have never seen a coffee shop that offers flights! Their latte flights consist of ube, matcha, regular and cinnamon honey lattes. For a latte lover like me; this is pure heaven. They also have another flight option consisting of a cold brew, batch brew, single espresso and single macchiato. I didn't get the flight when I visited here but it is definitely some thing I want to try. For my first visit here; I chose to just get their ube latte. The ube latte was great! It had the perfect ube flavor and even had a little hint of coconut. They don't use any artificial syrups or sweeteners and so the sweetness is based off the natural sweetness of milk. My only wish is that they serve it a little hotter as it was a little cold. I definitely enjoyed my visit here and I hope to be back one day to try that latte flight! We have tried several beverages from this place and although initially, I just felt like it was OK and nothing special, my husband has been coming here to pick up food and coffee every weekend after church. They remember us! They'll ask him about our lives and because of that, my husband decided this would be his new coffee shop. This past Sunday, he brought home an Ube latte, a strawberry croissant, and a pistachio croissant. The croissants are pretty good. They are filled with cream, but the Ube latte is where it's at. You can taste the actual Ube flavor and it doesn't taste fake at all. The several times I've been here, it's been quiet with one other couple or small family. Visited 1Oz Coffee after a nice jog by HB pier. It was very close to PCH and just a short walk from the pier. This coffee shop is very cute with a good amount of seating including tables and a couch inside and some seats outside. They played soft music that wasn't too loud so it seems like a good place to sit and do some work or to hangout and enjoy coffee and pastries with friends. They did have WiFi. On this specific visit, I arrived just before 10am and there was no line. I ordered an unsweetened Matcha latte to enjoy inside & it hit the spot. It wasn't too milky and the matcha did come through which I was very pleased about. They do have 1 gender neutral restroom that was well kept and clean. Because the location is in Downtown HB, parking is limited on the street but there is a public parking garage just off 6th street. Overall, I enjoyed my $6.73 matcha & the vibes. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely be back to try their coffee and some pastries. read more
