Menu of tea and other drinks as of April 2026
    Kathleen N.

This is quite a hidden gem in Huntington Beach, and a coffee shop that can easily be missed since it's tucked away in an industrial area. Service is phenomenal! Roberto and CJ, the two baristas who had helped me that day, were very kind to give me recommendations on drinks, let me know what I might like, and even gave me a sample of their Pacific Blend latte. Their drinks that I've tried and liked have a been more than a handful, and they've all been pretty good. I recommend their caramel cloud cold brew latte- one of their speciality drinks, the honey oat latte- hot or iced, and you can't go wrong with either the iced mango (this one you can ask for it to be adjusted for half sweet) or iced lychee tea. One of their other popular drinks is the New Orleans latte or cold brew, but this drink was not for me, since it has lavender flavor in that, which I don't care for. I am not a floral drink person, but for any lavender girlies, this might be perfect. The shop has pretty ample parking and actually has tables and spots inside to sit. The place is cozy, clean, and quiet. It does get warm especially during the hot summer days, since it's like an open garage of an industrial shop.

The place is nice and cozy. Super casual and staff were super friendly. I highly recommend this place for working adults to get work done or local college students. They provide free WiFi to guests and internet speeds were incredible. The drinks are super tasty and not overly sweet, which I enjoyed. In addition, the restroom is OMG super duper clean and well kept. I can tell they focus on hygiene. I tried the strawberry matcha latte and it was delicious. And they even gave samples to all guests. That made me feel appreciated of them. Again I highly encourage everyone to give them a try.

    Biscoff latte! Delicious!

My new fav coffee place. I'm obsessed with the Biscoff latte! So good! Also had the guava mascarpone pastry yesterday and it was delicious. Cute rustic decor inside. Staff is super friendly. It's a bit hidden behind Scats, but check it out if you're in the area.

Strawberry matcha could use a bit more flavor but the honey oat latte is worth the hype it receives in the reviews. Very nice workers and it seems like a nice area to sit and work at.

It's located in an industrial complex, behind a church. The space is cozy & the service is kind. They offer all the basic coffee, as well as lattes, ceremonial grade matchas and non-caffeinated drinks & tea too!

Cute warehouse coffee spot! Tucked away but a really cute find with easy parking and maybe 4 tables. I had the New Orleans latte - tasty but came pretty sweet. I'd love to come back for the other drinks and try other stuff. I did see pastries too - nothing marked gluten free though :(

My, oh my, allow me to update this review on a foggy winter morning. I had the gracious opportunity to meet Moses and Brian, the manager, when I returned to this location to try their New Orleans and Pacific Blend drinks. Moses provided impeccable customer service and greeted me warmly. He was genuinely enthusiastic to chat with me. He then brought out Brian, who manages this location. Speaking with Brian, I was fascinated to learn about the history of the space. It originally began as a roasted bean factory (which likely explains the location). The intention was to ship and distribute beans from this warehouse. However, people soon began knocking on their doors early in the morning asking for brewed coffee. Before long, they decided to open their doors and serve coffee on-site, eventually becoming the store you see today. What fascinated me most was that this location was never intended to be the hangout spot Brian explained. However, it turned out to be a happy circumstance. Brian is local and grew up in Orange County, earning his degree from the University of San Diego. The store he manages exudes a welcoming atmosphere, with baristas greeting you warmly as you walk in. Similarly, when they finish creating your drink, they approach you with genuine smiles and eye contact when serving you. Gone is the abrasive practice of shouting out order numbers from behind the counter. Little things like this go a long way. Additionally, if you visit often enough, they'll even learn your name, just as Brian did when he greeted me. His vision is for this place to be a cozy hangout spot where even the manager can comfortably chat with locals. Now on to my ranking of the drinks. Third place: Pacific Blend iced latte. This is a solid brew, especially if you're not into sugar, as the drink contains none. You'll need to add sweetener if you prefer sweetness. I didn't expect that at first, but once I added sugar/Splenda, it tasted amazing. I only wished I had known beforehand that this latte is unsweetened. Second place: New Orleans iced latte. This drink has the perfect amount of sweetness, paired with a chicory root flavor. It's a difficult taste to describe, but Brian explained that it's often best likened to a "lavender" note. This likely explains why many reviews struggle to put their finger on the flavor: describing it, as I did, as "lavender, yet not quite lavender," or simply floral. It was well-balanced and complemented the drink beautifully. First place: Honey Oat iced latte. I ordered this with 2% milk, and it was HEAVENLY. This may very well be the best drink on Earth. It is perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, yet deeply satisfying. In fact, it invites you to take another sip the moment you set it down. That's how you know a drink is exceptional. I don't think any chain can compare to this. The Honey Oat Iced Latte is a hidden gem at this location. Honestly, even if this were the only drink on the menu, it would still be wildly popular. I definitely invite you to try this as it will probably blow your mind. All in all, Blue Flame Coffee delivers consistent drinks across a thoughtfully simple menu, supported by friendly baristas and a welcoming manager, all rooted in a rich, serendipitous history that somehow percolated (pun intended) into the decadent establishment it is today... just like its coffee.

This place is a hidden gem! I've tried both coffee and matcha drinks, I recommend the coffee. It's very fragrant, fresh, and not too sweet. I believe that they roast and grind the beans in house. Their Strawberry Matcha is similar to a strawberry milk with a light matcha flavor. Super cool that they turned a warehouse space to a cafe, there's a couple of seats indoors The staff are always so kind and provide great service. ig: @cravingswithcat

Blue Flame is a small hidden gem in HB. This is a quiet coffee shop with limited seating but great vibes. They serve coffee, tea, matcha, and tonics along with a small selection of pastries. I highly recommend the delicious New Orleans latte. It's the perfect cup of coffee to start your day.

Cozy vibes inside and really good coffee. The staff is always welcoming with a smile and service is fast. The last time I stayed in the seating area to do coffee the wifi wasn't incredible, but maybe it was just that day. My favorite drink is their iced Honey Oat Latte. I typically don't drink coffee, but this latte is the exception for me.

Found this unassuming spot on the way to the gym and it did not disappoint. It's in an industrial area but they have a sign on the street so that was nice to spot. Service is friendly and quick. The latte was delicious and smooth. No adjustments made and no bitterness. They also have a stamp card if you are in the area it's worth to get.

Such a cute and cool little spot!! You'd miss it if you blink - the entrance to this cozy little coffee spot is in an industrial/business park area that I only discovered because it's near my VW tech's shop. It's literally a converted warehouse sort of setup - awesome decor and setup. They do very well with what little space they have - there is a roastery in the back, and a cafe upfront. I picked up the Pacific Blend Cold Brew, and a Ham & Cheese croissant - I like their very minimalist menu - only a few items they specialize in - which also helps prevent a long wait. You don't have to wait ten minutes like other cafes because someone in front of you ordered a super customized drink. It's straight forward here - latte or cold brew, hot or iced. The cold brew was great - smooth and full-bodied, with nutty tones. I normally like to add cream and sugar to my cold brew - but I had no issue drinking this straight. The ham and cheese croissant hit the spot - good ratio of meat, cheese, and croissant. They happily accommodated my request to microwave the pastry instead of toast it - since I prefer soft foods instead of crunchy/crispy. I was eyeing a Brown Butter Sugar Cookie - so I picked one of those up as well. Soooo good. The sweetness complements the taste of the cold brew. It's a perfect pair if you're here and just looking for a drink and a sweet treat. The space - such an awesome workspace. There's two picnic style tables, and two square tables, a sofa, outdoor seating, and a bar type setup near the entrance. The main roll-up door welcomes the cool ocean breeze in to keep the temperature down. Outlets are non-existent - not an issue for me since my laptop is normally charged, and I carry a portable power station with me anyway - but something to keep in mind if you're planning to study. Parking is super easy. There is a church across the way, but because they are mostly open on Sundays, you have a lot of open spots. One of the co-owners I was chatting to mentioned that they close a bit early on Sundays to allow parking for the churchgoers - a thoughtful measure. Overall, a new favorite - I hope to be back to check out the New Orleans blend, as well as their Yuzu Slushy.

Today was my first visit to Blue Flame Coffee Blue Flame sign spotted to direct thee I reviewed the specialty menu and opted for the honey oat latte with ice The guy behind the counter was unbelievably patient and nice Not long did I wait The latte was great! Such a cool little place An eclectic space I appreciated the natural lighting and open air feel The unhurried, less busy vibe which can be hard to find in CA shop at times, if we're keeping it real Overall, don't pass on this spot off of product lane A little coffee might keep ya sane xoxo -Op

They also have a wide variety of baklava and fresh knafeh right there ready to cut, which is a sweet cheese dessert with a fun kataifi crunch. The gentleman who helped me was very kind, though there was a slight language barrier. He let me try a bunch of nuts when I inquired - and I sort of had to, since several varieties were unlabeled, or just had a sign for what they were, or what the flavor was, but not vice versa. The nuts were good and seemed like a good and healthy snack to bring into a theme park or to have at home. I thought the flavors I tried were hard to distinguish from another after a while, and subtle. I had the fresh Dubai chocolate and thought it was pretty nice, distinctly bitter, nutty, moist, with tons of fresh kataifi crunch. You do have to keep it refrigerated though, as I assume it's made with ingredients that wouldn't hold well together at room temperature - typically a better sign in terms of paleo diets if you've ever made paleo chocolates for yourself. It's a bit atypical from other Dubai chocolate as the filling quantity here is uniquely generous. It's very rare to see a cute, almost timeless shop like this, containing lots of traditional and authentic goods. Would enjoy revisiting to try their coffee and the nearby food.

It was actually really busy and difficult to find an ideal spot. Since I was alone I sat at a high top ledge, strategically near an outlet. From what I saw, they had a really good amount of outlets in the indoor seating area. Later on I went back and ordered an iced Blueberry Lavender Matcha with Cold Foam ($9.25/large) and a Deluxe Avocado Toast ($15) which comes with egg, bacon, and herb oil. I like that this location serves the avocado toast with a knife and fork cause it was much needed. It was a bit on the wet side. Maybe I should ask for light herb oil next time. For how much this avocado toast cost, I would have liked more avocado. The avocado was more of a spread, not whole slices of avocado. Still good, just an observation. The blueberry lavender matcha was okay. I could taste the lavender but it was overpowering the matcha and the blueberry was hard to detect at all. Honestly the location and plentiful seatings is what stood out most from this experience. I would consider coming back since I know their products are good from trying their other locations but I wouldn't get the drinks I ordered this time. For how expensive coming here was, I wish I was a little more satisfied.
