This coffee shop is so cute! Such a hidden gem in Pacific City. It opens early, has plenty of space, and the staff are so welcoming. I got the You Salty Dog, and the vanilla foam adds a little extra sweetness, so just keep that in mind if you prefer your coffee less sweet. My sister got the Coco Panda, which was also more on the sweet side -- although that could be because she added vanilla cold foam. Overall, such a cute spot with a cozy atmosphere. Stopped by Pacific City and noticed a line outside IYKYK Coffee Lab. Figured that was a good sign, so we waited--and it was absolutely worth it. We ordered the Dr. Joe (left) and the Bonfire (right). The Dr. Joe had an incredibly smooth, flavorful matcha with a unique blend that wasn't overly sweet. The Bonfire surprised me. At first sip I thought it was just going to be a great-tasting latte, but a little while later the espresso kicked in. Great flavor, quality coffee beans, and a drink that definitely delivers. The shop itself is a vibe. Modern, clean, and welcoming without feeling pretentious. You can tell the staff genuinely care about what they're making. They took their time with every drink, paid attention to the details, and were super friendly throughout the experience. If you're around Huntington Beach or riding through Pacific City, I'd absolutely recommend stopping here. This is definitely getting added to my beach bike morning routine. This place is located at the Pacific City shopping mall, inside Swell Eats (food court), which is on the side near Sephora. Please note you will have to pay for parking and there's no validation, unless you spend $250 or more in one day. Haven't been at Pacific City in several years but I don't recall a parking fee back then, so this is definitely a deterrent in coming back here. Place has a hip vibe with a viny/turntable/DJ theme. Drinks are quite unique and offers several pastry/baked goods from several different vendors. I like that this place lists the places it gets its items from. I tried a bagel from Calic Bagel, which is known for using unique cream cheese fillings in its bagels. I got one with habanero cream cheese which was really good. Coco Panda, which is a matcha based drink with pandan syrup and coconut milk was pretty good, although I couldn't taste much matcha. There are several other drinks I would like to try, but I have no intention of coming back here because of the location. It's just too inconvenient to come to this overly crowded shopping mall and pay for parking, just to get a drink. I'm not taking any points off for the location since it's something that's out of control for the business, but I will just wait for its new location to open in Long Beach before returning to this brand. read more

Such a cute little coffee spot in Huntington Beach! My experience here was simple, easy, and most importantly delicious. The drinks were so good, and I love that you can grab your order and either take a stroll around the area or head over to the crane game section right behind the shop for some extra fun. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful when it came to recommendations, which made the whole experience even better. It's always nice when you can tell people genuinely enjoy what they do. If you're looking for a new coffee shop to check out, I'd definitely recommend giving this place a try. I already have my eye on a few other drinks from the menu, so I'll definitely be back soon! This place offers ocean views right outside, tasty treats to go with your coffee drinks, and parking validation. The mocha itself was a bit on the sweet side, but very good. Service is fast and friendly. The best part is the ability to choose your coffee design by uploading a photo. My kid got a kick out of seeing an old pic of his on my coffee. The latte itself is a bit pricey over $8 for a small mocha, but with the design gimmick they got going it won me over. I'll definitely be back to try their collab epic breakfast burrito next weekend. The ice oatmilk latte I got was SO GOOD with a teeny bit of vanilla syrup. The service was EXCELLENT. I got the blueberry bagel and that was disappointing. The bagel was very thin. I prefer thicker, fatter bagels. It was dry even with the spread. I would choose a different pastry next time. The coffee place is located in Pacific City located next to the Pasea Hotel. Ordered the Coco Panda which is made with ceremonial matcha, pandan syrup, coconut milk, and a coconut wafer roll on top. I paid over $8 for it. The baristas behind the counter were so sweet and said to let them know if I needed any adjustments made after taking a sip. I'm a huge sucker for pandan flavored anything so I was kind of skeptical about matcha and pandan together since I've never tried it. I was warned that it's unsweetened other than the pandan syrup in it but I opted to have it be made as is just to taste the full flavor of how they make it. I couldn't really taste the coconut milk thinking it would have a distinct flavor like how I can really taste the oat in oat milk. I also would've actually preferred the matcha and pandan flavor to taste stronger. Both were really light in my opinion. I did go back and asked the barista to add another swirl of pandan syrup. I mixed it in with my straw and took another sip and tasted the flavor a little more. If I can't add more matcha (not that I asked lol) then at least more pandan syrup so I can taste something. The color of the drink is a beeeaautiful green! They were all super cool and nice behind the counter. I'd love to come back and try another matcha latte or espresso drink! read more

You can personalize your coffee with a picture from your camera. They have a wide variety of coffees. Not much in the way of food variety. The vibe is awesome! They have a DJ in the center of the barista area who spins. Service is quick, especially since there was a special event. I ordered the Bonfire Cap. and pistachio crescent. IYKYK Coffee Lab is that perfectly charming date you accidentally meet while you're already out. The drink names are clever, the flavors are bold, and somehow it never disappoints. Every visit feels like "okay wow, you did not lie on your profile." The only issue is the location and the parking. The location is inside Pacific City's little food court, so we only see each other when it's convenient. If this place had its own standalone shop, I'd be obsessed. Like show up unannounced, know everything on the menu obsessed. Until then, we'll keep it casual... kinda like a situationship casual, even though we both know it could be more. IYKYK it's kind of a hidden gem at Pac City, but if you know, you know. ; ) I got a hot Matcha with ever so creamy whole milk + vanilla and it was so warm and comforting and delicious. They really make quality hand crafted drinks which any coffee/matcha enthusiast would appreciate. I also appreciate how the barista asked what book I was reading and complimented my flannel. I've passed by this coffee shop many times and finally decided to give it a shot! I ordered the strawberry fields ice matcha. The drink was beautiful, but I felt like the matcha and strawberry flavor fell a bit short. I think the strawberry flavor came mostly from the dried strawberries and possible a dash of strawberry syrup. The matcha flavor was light, however it did do the trick and gave me a caffeine boost to get me through my afternoon. The menu on their tv didn't have prices which is fine but I also didn't expect the drink to be $8.35...a little pricey for what you get, but a bit understandable considering the location, supply cost, etc. I would come back and try some other drinks or a coffee! Happy to see that there's a coffeeshop inside the eating area of Pacific City! There's all this space that can be utilized and something to do before all the surrounding food area opens up. Environment - located right in the middle of the food area, you can't miss it! There are tons of tables and chairs to drink your coffee. You can also take your drink to go and walk around the plaza as well! Service - the owner was really nice to make drink recommendations. Was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed my drink. I just really enjoy honey lattes, and the Honey Love latte really hit the spot. Perfectly sweet (like a sweet treat) and creamy. Service was friendly even though we ordered a few minutes before closing (which I don't recommend!) The location is really cool! Find this inside Pacific City's Food Hall. This took over Portola Coffee's old spot. Hard to miss the coffee shop, just listen for the loud music. They offer straight forward coffee and crafted sweet drinks. Drinks range from $7-10. They offer an array of milk options at a cost and sweeteners at cost. The collab for the stuffed bagels is a nice touch but will cost you $9. You can order online or wait in line to order, drinks take a little while to receive. Presentation of the drinks are beautiful but prices are very high. Tried the cold brew which was smooth and strong. The Bonfire Cap had a toasted marshmallow but truly tasted just like a regular mocha. It's good but I prefer Philz for the authentic coffee feel. All the drinks sounded so good it was hard to decide which one I wanted. I had the Dr. Joe, Daydream and Bonfire. They were all delicious!!! They have a variety of pastries and normally my go to is a croissant but the stuffed bagels caught my eye. I had the habanero and the pizza calic. Perfectly warmed up and yummy! Definitely a must try! My favorite drink was the Dr. Joe and my favorite calic was the habanero one. Everyone that worked was super friendly. Drinks came out in a timely matter. My dog also loved the pup cups they gave him. After the second time we came here he was looking over the counting waiting for the cashier to give him his pup cup:) the last day we were there I think I ran into the owner. I ordered the Honey Love, less sweet, and it is under the Signature drinks section. Very tasty and I enjoyed it. Their staff person helping us was so nice and helpful. Great customer service. What I don't love is that they don't list their prices on any of the menus at the shop. You have to scan a QR code. With coffee and food costing more and more these days, not listing prices seems deceptive, like prices could change easily, even daily or by the minute.
