Such a fun experience. The comedians were actually hilarious, and the energy in the room made it even better. The atmosphere is classic comedy club vibes, and you never know who might pop in. Definitely a great spot for a night out.

Had a great night! Enjoyed some comedy and did a bit of networking. I didn't have food but I'm sure it would be great. The Service for water and beverages was on time and waitress was attentive. Ambiance was relaxing yet very cold. I suppose that's a good thing when it's more crowded then usual. I would totally recommend coming to hang out and you can stay after the main comedians to catch open mic. I unfortunately do not have any more photographs as upon entry, the staff kindly instructs you to power off your phone and place it in a securely locked phone case. It is imperative that you open this when you depart. Overall had a great time.

the comedy store is everything you want it to be and more. upon arriving, the wait staff are very kind and generous. they get you gong in the right direction. a few tips, get there about 20-30 minutes early if you want to sit close (however, be careful you could get roasted. my buddy and i did and it was fun). the food, the cookies are super small. the pretzels are very good. the pizza is SMALL. from pauly shore, bobby lee, zainab johnson, and everyone before or after were fantastic on the stage. this lived up to the hype and more. if you are ever in the area or vacation here; you have to experience this.

A new place discovered. I was happy to get a chance to experience more comedy in LA. So this place has multiple rooms with various shows going on. My location was on the right and up the stairs. It's a very intimate place, maybe sitting 50-60 people. The waiter was quick and thorough as he was servicing the entire place. The food menu was limited and I wasn't in the mood for food. But the drinks were delicious. Was able to take photos, they make you lock up your phones in security bags. Which you keep on your person. I would definitely go again Plus there is public parking next to the comedy store

This is, hands down, the coolest comedy spot I've been to. The dark ambiance, table and seat arrangements, and aura of the place makes the whole thing just feel so exclusive and intimate. And only for $20!!!!!!!!!! At least that's how much ours was on a random Tuesday. We actually had a surprise guest (Ali Wong!!!!) and that was the coolest experience ever. The shows also go on for a long time! We were there from 9-11:30 and left because our parking was going to expire but def still more comedians were coming on. Drinks were yummy and strong! Remember there is a 2 drink minimum- nonalcoholic included!

The various rooms here have different entrances to the building. Original Room in the middle, where there are outdoor tables and seating in the front patio. Main Room is to the left of that. Belly Room around the corner, in the back, where I saw a sign for Cirque Du Store this past weekend. We attended Late Night in the Main Room on Saturday. The listed showtime was 10:30pm, but that's when they opened the doors to the long line of guests waiting outside. Then they scanned our tickets at the counter, locked our phones in yondr bags, and seated us in the main room which was smaller than I imagined, considering people say this the biggest room at the venue (I haven't experienced the others). Drink service was slow but friendly, the passionfruit margarita was tasty with a nice sweetness I enjoyed, and a double meets the 2 drink minimum (though even the double was kinda weak). The show featured Robby Hoffman, Jesus Trejo, Craig Conant, Byron Bowers, and a couple others. Robby Hoffman was my fave, great personality on stage, and even better jokes. The last performer of the night was pretty bad, and for his set, heckling from the front row was relentless. Neither the comic nor the staff did anything about it, even as it drove guests in the audience to leave the show early, one after the other (it was still dragging on after we left around 1:15am). It's a shame, as its a cool venue otherwise.

The only place to catch comedy for me. We got 8 tickets on a whim for a Thursday and saw Whitney Cummings and Eliza Schlesinger along with and up and coming star CP

We spent over $50 each on a Tuesday because Iliza was listed as part of the lineup. She is a favorite of mine, and her name was a major reason we purchased. She never performed, and when we contacted The Comedy Store for a refund, they refused. This is not acceptable. Do not promote comedians who are not actually confirmed.

Had a blast at the show a Tuesday night. We had the VIP stage seats and although I was afraid to sit in the front, we had a blast and Whitney Cummings, Bobbie Lee, and Adam Rey were hilarious. Our server was very good, drinks were strong, and we had a wonderful evening with friends.

Not only is this historic venue in the comedy world, but the home of Crack 'Em Up Comedy held every Thursday!!! We missed the food but the waitress has amazing service and allowed us to get another drink! The best part is you NEVER KNOW WHO can pop #IntheROOM

This venue was great! First off loved that they didn't let us use our phones. Creates a more personal experience with the comedians on stage. Secondly it was fool to see some big names tonight like Bobby Lee and Pauly Shore! Loved how our server would take care of everyone simultaneously in our section. Would love to come back here soon!

This was my fiancé and my first time seeing a live comedy show at a venue. We saw that Jim Jeffries was going to be at the main room at The Comedy Store so we just knew we had to get tickets! We decided to Uber there because I have a broken leg and we didn't want to deal with finding parking. I'm very glad we did because in typical Hollywood fashion it was pretty busy down there, even on a Tuesday! The Uber dropped us off at the front. We knew there were multiple rooms there so we asked security where we should line up for the Main Room. The security guard we asked noticed I had my knee scooter and mentioned that we were ADA and that someone would escort us to the main room once it was announced on the patio that it was open. Once it was open we were escorted towards the back and to our table. I'm very thankful that they sat us at a table in the back corner that way my scooter was out of the way and it was comfortable for me. It is a nice intimate venue that doesn't feel over sold. Our server was friendly and very attentive as well. My fiancé and I both enjoyed our drinks. The show overall was a great experience. How could it not be? Jim Jeffries is hilarious! I would definitely attend another comedy show here again in the future.

Exterior view. There's an outdoor patio to drink.

Loved the experience of watching a comedy show at such an iconic venue. We bought tickets (VIP bench seating with a table for two) online after looking at the line up and saw Marc Maron was performing. During Dean Delray's performance, I looked to my left and saw Marc Maron chillin' next to us. I no longer heard anything else Dean Delray was saying as my mind was freaking the fuck out. And no, I said nothing to him because I was trying not to be that person. Needless to say, it was the highlight of my night. Other things to know... - No photos. No video. No heckling. - Two drink minimum for each person. It doesn't have to be alcohol tho, but... *evil smirk*. Wait staff will come around to take drink and food orders. - In the main room, the women's restroom is at the back. Four very narrow stalls and it was clean, but I went before the show even started. - It was a three-hour show of different comedians performing which made me so grateful for comfortable seats! - You can grab drinks at their outdoor patio, prior to the show. During the show, I would see Marc Maron wander out to the patio a few times. - There are designated smoking areas in case you need a quick fix. THE DRINKS. - Moscow Mule | Nothing fancy; Grey Goose vodka, lime juice, and ginger beer. - Peachy Dream | Cazadores Repo, peach schnapps, pineapple, and gingerale. Sweet peach flavors and a little gingery spice. Highly recommend. THE PARKING. Parked a few blocks down in a tiny parking structure where Sixt car rental is located (8305 W. Sunset Blvd.). We parked there for a little over five hours and paid $31. There is parking next to the Comedy Store (managed by Laz Parking) that charges $25 for the first 3 hours, then charges more depending on how much longer you stay (see my photo of the parking rates). COMING BACK? Absolutely... one day when I'm back in the area.

Ask the Community - The Comedy Store

If you don't drink alcohol, how much do they charge for nonalcoholic 2 drink minimums, like soda and water?

I usually get coffee, ginger beer, or a bottle of water and it's about $12 for two drinks.

    Are they serving food again?

When I went a few months ago they were only serving drinks and there was a two drink minimum

How early should we line up knowing that the show is almost sold out?

I would say 1 hour if you want to get a reasonably good seat. I highly recommend buying tickets online in advance & get VIP if you can afford it, especially if there are comics you really want to see.

    What's the parking situation like?

I went with a friend and he got there first. He parked in the neighborhood, he was the smart one. I parked in the automated parking lot just above the comedy store which said it was $16. I thought that wasn't bad at the time but the machine doesn't…

    What is the Bag policy?

They will check your bag upon entry and everyone is asked to remove anything from your pockets.

Do you have to show proof of vaccination to get in asking for a friend lol?

Yes. We went a few months ago and we had to

If the show starts at 9:00 what's a good time to get there?

About an hour early if you have general admission tickets.

    Is there a dress code?

Shirt shoes and pants! So no not really. Some people dress up, cuz it's the best comedy clubs in the world. But as long as u get ur two drinks, laugh, have a good time, and don't talk during the show, Ull b fine!

What's the deal with "Mitzi's booth"?

Is the comedy store open on sundays and mondays? I don't see anything on there website

    Not yet, after June 15

    Is it wheelchair accessible?

Yes and no. There are a few different stages - main room, smaller space, etc. they are really nice there, better than The Laugh Factory (used to work there're) - I would suggest this to anyone attending a show there - CALL THE COMEDY STORE - seating…

Can you order food instead of drinks to fulfill the 2 drink minimum requirement?

Unfortunately, it's specifically a two drink minimum. (Some other clubs around town are a two item minimum, which is a nice change.)

Do they ID at the door or just when ordering drinks?

    At the door

Could a 15yr old perform at open mic or attend any shows?

This comedy club is 21 and older only

What would you say the dress code is?

    Casual

I bought tickets and am concerned I might not be able to attend considering I'm 19. Will they let me if I go with my 21 year old girlfriend?

I would call. But, from my understanding, since they serve alcohol its 21 and over and u get carded.

    Can 20 year olds attend?

My understanding is no! Because they serve alcholol and you get carded. They could loose their liquor lisense. But i would call and double check.

For the two drink minimum, must we order alcohol? We don't drink...

No u dont have to order alcohol. As a matter of fact, I ordered diet coke, coke when I went bec I was a designated driver for the night. Its actuakkt cheaper to order a soft drink at $4 vs a beer at $8 or $12

    Can people under 18 come?

No. 21 over only bec alcholol is served. They can lose their ABC license. If im not mistaken.

    Do you take amex?

    Yes

We ordered Aperol Spritzes and they were delicious and refreshing! All reasonably priced too, yay! They have "cart" service too which added to the airplane themed experience! Service: Splendid! The Bartender and Flight Attendant were attentive and friendly! My friend and I had a blast of fun and plan to visit again soon! If you haven't been to The Aviator yet, plan to do so! You'll be glad you did!
