    Cookies and cream
    Marisa M.

I used to love bang cookies 5 years ago! Idk if it's because they expanded so much, and I'm happy they are successful, but the love that was in these cookies as a startup is lost. I got two cookies and both tasted too crispy and burnt around the edges, had a taste like sugar coated plastic. The cookies and cream was so so sweet, didn't have any chocolate flavor and the cream was a thin line in the center. I rather eat an Oreo. The chocolate chip caramel one was a tiny bit better, at least the gooey center was gooey. But it had that same plastic taste. Not that I know what plastic tastes like but something was off. I unfortunately will skip.

There is nothing like going to grab lunch/dinner and getting a cookie on the way home. My personal favorites are the s'mores and the SnickerChurro cookies. The cookies are large, soft, and taste especially good when they're fresh after the oven. They're perfect for satisfying a sweet tooth craving. Highly recommend bypassing the nearby crumbl, walking the extra block, and getting yourself the goodness that is Bang Cookies

Walking out of the bars and hit up this cute little shop on the way home. The sign caught my eye, tried a few flavors but went with obviously one cookie. SNICKERCHURRO COOKIE for the win!!! This snickerdoodle cookie with Dulce De Leche on the inside was screaming my name. This crisp cookie with a soft center was the perfect delicacy. The lady at window was hilarious and I love that they have a small to-go window outside. I definitely got banged in Jersey City lol

    Inappropriate sign lol

Small counter with one employee in the window. I came end of day and they had ran out of a few flavors already. But I got three different cookies to try. One of them disappeared from the bag pretty quickly. I was going to only eat half and save the other half for later but that's not what happened. Hard to resist a chewy gooey marshmallow. I'd say they're on 70% sweetness level from all the cookies I've tried. Not overbearing but still up there. I would have loved a glass of milk with the cookies. I'd definitely eat Bang again. Don't think I'd go out of my way to Jersey to get them but if I'm in the area, why not. Also my friend said he can't bring his kid here because of the sign outside. Beware lol!

Do yourself a favor and get banged at Bang Cookies! Delicious and large cookies with many different choices. Fresh, warm, gooey, and melt in your mouth. Definity a high calorie treat and good thing I run a lot during the week to burn these off, but so worth it. Not cheap, so it's a once in a while embellishment if you live close by. So it's a good thing that it's over in Jersey and not near me in Manhattan! Oh, and the salted chocolate chip cookie was the correct choice. Always.

I honestly expected more from a cute dessert place in Jersey City. Maybe a warm and fresh baked cookie like they display in the bakeries when you walk in and there's a homely aroma NOT here. The cookies are simply in particular bins in wrappers and aren't even warmed when you buy them. The storage of putting them in plastic bins and just handing them to the customer isn't very attractive and the price of one cookie is way too much for how little effort goes into the presentation. I got the s'mores cookie which is just a bunch of stuff on top of a chocolate chip cookie and they definitely need to do something more inviting like warm them up or at least display them in a glass case to make you feel like you're getting something gourmet. Not worth it. Sorry.

    Delivery

BANGCOOKIES has never failed to deliver and provide kind customer service. I had a small issue and they resolved it quickly and saved the day for my niece's birthday. My family brought BANGCOOKIES online for a couple of years and we love to gift cookies to family and friends. We love the flavors and taste. It brings a smile to our face and others .

Ok i dont like to give out low rating or bad reviews. But when your charging $4-5 a cookie. Then you have to deal with the criticism. I bought 5 cookies from here to see which ones i would like more and none of them satisfied my tastebuds. I couldn't finish any of them. Even my friend who is a cookie lover couldn't finish any either. A $25 mistake on my part but sometimes we learn the hard way. We would have been better off with some Oreos. I dont mind spending the money on something i enjoy. Like the cookies at Levain bakery on the upper west side. Now they r some good a** cookies. Check my review on them and look at the difference in quality. Now for the cookies they were bland and have a weird texture to them they r wrapped and dont tase fresh at all. Seems like they value quantity over quality. And definitely tastes like it.

Pieces of raw cookies and an example of one of the many cookies we had to throw away.

This place does not deserved even a star. On Thursday, I bought several cookies for my brother's birthday. We had several guests including my son's teenage friends. These cookies were a true disappointment! We always buy cookies from Funny Face, but I wanted to surprise everyone. It was a big mistake as the cookies were raw! My husband is a cookie fanatic and was very excited to try them. However, the cookie he opened was so raw that he had to spill it out. My teenage son tried another one and had to throw it away as well. A couple of his friends put their cookies in the air fryer and microwave, but they hated them. The family celebration turned into a disaster because I decided to buy these cookies instead of our regular ones or a cake. How is it possible that all the cookies were raw in the middle? My daughter put one in the oven in hopes of eating it, but she had to throw it away too. I was left with bitten cookies in the garbage and a very bad taste in our mouths from one of the worst cookies we have ever tried.

So disappointed to post this review, but bang cookies has officially lost me as a customer. We used to order from them frequently, but their cookies have since shrunken in size and quality. Delivery took over two hours last night, and to top it off, my wife found this in her cookie! Got literally anywhere else.

Holding it or tasting it gives a substantial, high-quality feel. However, the consequence is that even the staff struggles to scoop it out with their spherical ice cream scoops, let alone the disposable plastic spoons provided to customers. Green Tea: The highest praise Chinese people can give for desserts--not sweet--and it truly tastes like green tea, not matcha. The refreshing bitterness was incredibly pure, even bordering on slightly bitter, which is extremely rare in the US. Vanilla Peanut Butter: Very milky, but extremely salty, like eating peanut butter spread on bread. The vanilla flavor was almost completely masked. Coconut & Cream: I've always trusted American coconut ice cream, but this time it was a bit of a disappointment. The cream completely overshadowed the coconut, so much so that it took me a long time to recall what flavor I actually ordered. Ube: One bite brought back childhood memories, exactly the same as the ube flavor Wuyang五羊 ice cream cone. It was so touching I didn't order this in the end since I want to try more flavors as possible. I don't know why, but ube flavor seems to be gradually fading in China... Blueberry Cheesecake: The initial taste was a rich, sweet cream, with a refreshing hint of blueberry tartness in the aftertaste. It's pretty good, but honestly, it's not particularly outstanding. Banana Peanut Butter Chunk: The staff recommended this signature dish, and it once again made me realize how subjective taste can be... It's on the sweeter and saltier side, with a very strong flavor, but more importantly, it has a noticeable artificial banana flavor.

Service was great and allow you to try a couple flavors if you're unsure which is great as not all ice cream spots makes the flavors the same! On a Sunday afternoon lines moved quickly and we were able to find seats. This is a cute cafe that offers plenty of savory items and lunches, plus drinks like matcha, cakes, pastries and cookies. There is also a bathroom! The women behind the counter were all nice and patient with my questions, they also kept the line moving and were quick. I had high hopes for the Alfajores as this is an Argentinian bakery but unfortunately the ones given to me were stale. The cookie was very hard. Also the Dulce de leche was too sweet and burnt tasting to me. I also got a chocolate covered one and the cookie in that was also hard and dry. The strawberry croissant was amazing. Never had anything like that before. Not too sweet and very flaky. It has a ribbon of red on the outside which gives it a unique look. I would love to come back and try savory items. I'll continue to stick with the cakes and croissants for desert and make sure it's fresh!
