    Cookies!

My husband happened to stumble upon The Cookie House while working and knew he had to check it out for me. He knows the way to my heart lol. He said there were plenty of choices and the service was friendly. He decided on 3 different cookies which were around $10 and change. He came home with 2 sugar cookies and one gingerbread. Each cookie was individually wrapped and decorated wonderfully. The cookies were fresh and tasted delicious!! Definitely not frozen. I will definitely be making a stop in to see all the choices they have and try their other options. It's always great to have another small business to support. I will absolutely be letting people know about this little local gem!!

Reese's Pieces was my fav! almond Joy next! velvet chocolate, chocolate chip & cherry chip all great, but Molasses my third favorite!

Shouting out a Thursday Community Review to The Cookie House! Thank you for making the cookies each day! If you love love love cookies like me then you need to try this place! I can't stay away! Tucked at the south end of the Walmart Center is this gold mine I found. They are open during Covid. Just mask up and go inside. I was able to pick out each cookie that I wanted to try. I found out that you can actually order custom Cookies with whatever shape or theme that you want on them if you order ahead. Cant wait to go back!

This was a very cute shop. I was reading a book about a cookie shop and it really put me in a mood for a Cookie so I yelped for a close by cookie shop and this store popped up. So I stopped by with my four year old thankfully it wasn't closed yet. I love the decorating idea if my son wasn't so grumpy he would enjoy it. The price is what you expect so no complaints. My oldest stayed home so I bought three cookies my oldest had asked for a peanut butter. And my youngest was being grumpy and wanted nothing but chocolate milk. So I got a traditional chocolate chip and decided to try their chocolate brownie with pecan. We took it to go as my oldest was waiting. The peanut butter wasn't that bad just wish they had crushed peanuts inside but overall it was good. The chocolate chip hit the right spot. Lastly the choColate brownie gave me enough chocolate that I just felt good afterwards. Long review short if you want a cookie definitely come here they have many choices and decent prices

This is an amazing cookie shop. I have tried many of the cookies and they all have been great. The chocolate chip cookies are my favorite but there are always some other great options. I ordered some sugar cookies for a marketing event and they turned out perfect. Individually packed cookies with our logo and company name. They looked very nice and tasted very good. Shannon was very nice and super helpful!! I will definitely be back!!

This place is fantastic. We are not a cake family, so decided on a cookie cake for a birthday. I brought in a picture of what I was hoping for, and they assured me they could do it. They did exactly what I needed, took the time to ask design questions, and exceeded my expectations with the final product. I highly recommend The Cookie House.

We came by to pick up family dessert. We were looking forward to supporting locally. Unfortunately, the cookies were dry--a few not even edible because they were rock hard. Such a disappointing experience. I know they say their cookies are made daily, but I could have bought something from a box that would taste better than what we paid way more for. Try another bakery before coming here.

I ordered cookies for my husband as a surprise for our first wedding anniversary. I came in with a photo I found online and asked if she could make them. The owner said yes but also took the time to tell me all of the options I had to make the cookies unique and special to us. She suggested changing the shape to a heart and using our wedding colors since they were for our anniversary. I'm not creative like that at all and was so excited by her ideas! I ordered them about a month in advance and she packed them so nicely that not a single cookie broke during our flight! I almost forgot to mention that the cookies are, of course, delicious. I'll definitely be ordering from her in the future and recommend you do too!

What a cute little shop! The name had me intrigued so of course I had to stop in and check it out myself. The second I opened the door I was hit with the most delicious of smells. We were greeted quickly by a nice lady who was so patient while we looked around. While the shop is small the cookies were a huge hit! Instantly my eyes went to the cutest character cookie from Beauty and the Best, as well as beautiful fall decorated cookies in the shapes of leaves. As we were getting ready to pay I saw large snickerdoodles which are my favorite! My daughter loves red velvet so we also chose one of those. I really liked that they were all individually wrapped and nicely plated for individual purchase or larger packaging If you're looking for a sweet treat for others. If you're looking for a special box or event they had so many prepackaged cookies with different styles including the Beatles or cherries. Cookies are about $3 a piece average, but if you're looking for quality and pretty design so worth it. Lastly the taste of all were phenomenal. The teacup cookie was soft with a bit of crunch from the edible decor on top. Stop by and see for yourself. Yum.

The cookies were so good and fresh we had the chocolate chip and the coconut macaroon dipped in chocolate.

One of the color photos and the most delicious coconut macaroon.

Hi there, thank you for reaching out to us. Unfortunately we do not offer Keto cookies. We offer gluten-free cookies but that is the only specialty diet offering we currently make.

    Any gluten free options available?

We carry coconut macaroons daily in our cases ( with or without chocolate). We also offer gluten-free chocolate chip or White chocolate honeycomb however, those are only available with minimum 1 day call ahead ordering; minimum of 1/2 dozen.

It happened to be a little under twenty minutes away from us so we decided let's do it & they were open late. Hell yeah. There's not a crazy amount of pastries but the selection was great. We got two tiramisus, one vanilla custard lobster tail, some mini cannolis, & the wedding cookies. Everything came out to about $50 so beware, prices aren't exactly cheap. But for one, if you're going to do "bad" then do it right & we also shared with our family of 5 so plenty to go around. & Holy cow, everything was incredible. So indulgent, decadent & rich in flavor. My nephews liked the cannolis, personally they're not my favorite, but if you're into it the mini's are a great option to quench the craving. The lobster tail with the vanilla custard took me by surprise. I didn't think I was going to care for it, but the cold custard was refreshing & the flakiness of the bread was crazy, my taster buds were confused by the textures, but in the best way. They complemented each other well. My ultimate favorite was the tiramisu & the wedding cookies. I honestly wish I had gotten more of the wedding cookies, those things took me back. I grew up eating the Mexican ones & the Italians did it right *applause* But damn, the tiramisu was to die for. I would order that again & again. Perfectly chilled, the dusting of the cocoa powder didn't taste like nesquik--incredible. At first the price had me thinking if we were doing too much, like damn, should we have just gone to Sprouts bakery? But after being able to indulge in a great quality dessert, it was worth every dollar. My only feedback, careful when you're paying at the register. If you're not paying attention, the tip automatically defaults to 18% on the tablet. Only thing I didn't care for. I could see if I was eating at the restaurant, but I just popped in to take pastries to go. So, that was kind of annoying. The service was fine, the girl that helped me was nice, but again I just pointed at desserts I wanted & went home. The location is part of the main restaurant, but it has its own entrance & little room making it feel separate to the Sicilian Butcher. They also carry gelato which I haven't tried yet. I believe they have little tables to sit at also. Highly recommend checking this out so save room for dessert!

They had already put away half of their gelato and baked goods in the cabinet. I understand closing time is at 10:30, but if you still have almost half an hour left, I'm sure there are customers that are gonna come in and buy things. There were three parties of people that walked in while we were in there and then sitting out on the really nice patio. There is a little bit of seating inside, but the patio was very nice and there was plenty of seating out there too. The vibe is super cute, and I love the decor. Hopefully next time we go back, we can actually try things because they won't be put away!

A West Valley Gem Packed with Flavor, Charm, and Plenty to Discover…read more If you've ever driven past that bright pink building on the corner of 101st and Grand Avenue in Sun City and wondered, "What's in there?" let me save you the suspense: it's the New York West Bakery, and it's absolutely worth pulling over for. In fact, I've made the hour-plus drive each way more than a dozen times just to visit. Whenever I find myself anywhere in the West Valley, this place is a mandatory stop. I've taken countless photos of my visits because there is always something new to see, taste, or admire. Under its new ownership, New York West Bakery has evolved into a wonderfully unique fusion-style café. The menu is delightfully unexpected, featuring everything from traditional breakfast favorites and homemade tamales to incredible Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwiches. If I can dig up some of my photos, I'll add them because these sandwiches deserve their own spotlight. The transformation isn't limited to the menu. The Interior: Spotlessly clean. During one recent visit, I watched an energetic staff member carefully mopping the floors and making sure everything looked perfect. It's obvious they take pride in the place. The Exterior: They've added a charming outdoor patio complete with colorful umbrellas, comfortable seating, and newly planted trees that will provide even more shade as they grow. It's a fantastic addition and makes for a relaxing place to enjoy a pastry and coffee. The Food: Where This Place Really Shines When New York West Bakery gets it right, they absolutely knock it out of the park. Their fruit tarts are hands-down some of the best I've had in years. They're fresh, beautiful, bursting with flavor, and surprisingly affordable for the quality you're getting. Best of all, everything is made from scratch, which shows in every bite. The newer savory menu items are also a huge win. Their Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwiches deliver serious value. They're enormous. Honestly, one sandwich is big enough to share and still leave you feeling satisfied... or at least leave just enough room for dessert. And speaking of dessert, I have to mention those fruit tarts one more time. They're that good. My wife Lucy absolutely loves them. In fact, "love" might be an understatement. If fruit tarts had a fan club, she'd probably be the president. New York West Bakery continues to grow and evolve, and it's exciting to watch. Between the friendly atmosphere, expanding menu, beautiful patio, and from scratch-made baked goods, it's become one of my favorite hidden gems in the Valley.

Update: June 2026 The new owners have expanded into more of…read morea café than a bakery, and a fusion one at that since you can get Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwiches, tamales, and traditional breakfasts. I love that they added outdoor seating with cheery umbrellas and have planted trees to provide additional ambiance and shade, although the highway noise will always be problematic. The inside is spotless and while I was there a friendly staffer was keeping it that way by energetically mopping. Sadly, the St. Joseph's pastry I had had a tough not flaky or crisp shell, but the ricotta filling was light and good. I was so looking forward to the poppy seed bread but when I got it home and cut into it, the filling was not spread out throughout the bread and there wasn't much of it. The bread itself was not tear apart tender, but dry. I saved it by slathering butter on it and lightly toasting it, but that shouldn't have been necessary. For the prices, everything should have been top notch or marked down and labeled as day-olds. I'm curious about the breakfast and lunch café options, so I'll probably go back to give them a try, but note that the prices have increased by more than a few cents per item since the 2025 someone else posted, so check for the latest. Maybe they are trying to do too much and should limit the variety and be known for a few super delicious items that are always fresh and superior to what you could get in a supermarket. Having a few signature items and being the go-to place during special holidays would help define them, and please, please FRESHNESS is crucial--maybe the products are just drying out more because we're in AZ, but I'm not the only one mentioning dried out items.

Ate the cream horn immediately in the parking lot - delish. Loved the churro, which was maybe a foot long! Enjoyed the guava empanada as well. Concha was nice and soft, all the flaky pastries were amazing. Total was just under $17 (7 items) with cream horn being around ~$4.
