When I called to express my concerns, the manager made no effort to resolve the issue or offer any form of compensation. Customer service is just as important as the quality of the food, and this experience fell short on both counts. Unfortunately, this was the final straw, and I won't be returning. Living in Ohio and Washington, DC, I've searched without success for authentic fried clams; Four Corners is the first place that ever met (and indeed exceeded) my expectations. I started with New England Clam Chowder (cup, $7), but since I really wanted to try the lobster bisque, I ordered a cup for takeout dinner the next day (cup, $8). The main attraction, whole belly fried clams (market price), were amazing! The serving was more than ample in number (I had enough leftovers the next day for a meal to go with my takeout bisque). The clams were perfectly breaded and seasoned, and came out sizzling, along with hot rustic French fries and Cole slaw. I don't believe I've ever had such a tasty serving of fried clams in my life. Service was attentive, and the dessert menu was too tempting to pass up (I had the turtle cheesecake, split between both nights). Well worth a trip!
