We stopped to grab a bite at a place nearby but they were closed. So then we stepped inside Copper Crust and so glad that we did. Everything was delicious. The Pizza was awesome, especially the crust & sauce. The Italian sub looked and tasted like it belonged on a magazine cover. The Cinnamon Roll, Cookies, Scone, and Cherry Danish were take homes that were exceptional. They treated us like family. Thank you Ms JoAnn and staff. Wish we lived closer. Everything we've eaten here has been delicious. Chicken salad, pastrami, baked goods. You can't go wrong.

One of the absolute cutest places I've been in York! This place was busting at the seems with people! The atmosphere is so great and the food is even better. We ordered several sandwiches which were delicious and the quiche which was so amazing we left with 2 whole pies. All baked goods are made on site and are even better than they look. We met the owner who is a great guy. You can't go wrong with anything here. Keep up the great work! Your business is definitely a stand out! We found this place on a drive from DC back to the Lehigh Valley. Not far off of I-83 and in the town of York, it is nestled in a strip mall. They have sandwiches and salads. They used to do pizza but that is not happening now due to training a new chef. We had the hippy sammie on a bagel-so good and fresh and full of veggies. The menu is creative and there is also a bakery-oh yum! We took home some cherry pie and some oatmeal raisen cookies. They are friendly and keep the tables clean between guests. Very full when wer were there but tables turn over quickly. If I lived here, I would be a regular! read more

I love love love this place!! Came in on a Saturday around 3:30 and the place wasn't busy at all. I was overwhelmed by all their selections and they were so nice to walk me through all their different types of pastries. I got the Stern, which was easily the best Sagel (salmon with bagel) I've ever had. The smoked salmon was so fresh and full of flavor. None of that fishy taste or smell! read more

Stopped in to purchase a pie and chose apple. The filling was great but the crumb topping was so hard it was nearly impossible to cut through for serving. Perhaps it would be better served as a crumble where scooping the serving is acceptable. Pies should be able to be sliced & served for presentation, not scooped because the topping was too hard to cut. Cute place! read more

Elegantly simple. Excellence in every way. The command of pastry, filling, and crust had me caught somewhere between Brooklyn, San Francisco, and Europe. I simply did not expect the high level. So I enjoyed the house-smoked pastrami. Nothing like this in the area, and the bread had the decency to fight back. Really...proper crust, and a big win for us today! On the way out the door, was offered a small portion of house-smoked lachs, which only lasted until I could find a good schmier for the bread we bought. My all time favorite would have to be their ham and cheese croissant! When you bite into the flaky, buttery, croissant you immediately taste the thick sliced ham and velvety cheese that accompanies it. It is to die for!!! Our daughter came to visit so we visited The Copper Crust and got their eggplant Parmesan take home family meal. There was a pan of the most scrumptious eggplant parm and a salad of cut up lettuce, croutons and shredded Parmesan cheese with the Caesar dressing on the side. Unfortunately there was no information on heating up the parm so I called. Happily our food was heated and we started with salad. A little of the lettuce was a little brown which bugged me, but not a lot and that happens when you cut lettuce with a metal knife. Oh well. The dressing had a generous portion of both croutons and cheese and the dressing was excellent. We all loved it and we decimated the entire salad. To the main course- I felt it needed a little more mozzarella so I added some on top. It was out of this world. If I could give it 6 stars I would! The sauce was delicious. Just perfect. The eggplant was tender. And there was ricotta cheese in with the layers of eggplant. I'd never seen that before but OMG what a great addition- creamy and yummy. This reminds me about my local cafe back in NYC. The staff is so friendly and they always bring the food to you. The croissants perfectly made with a crunchy outer texture and a fluffy core. This place is amazing! The mini fruit pies and cakes are incredible. The croisants, breakfast sandwiches, french toast, lunch sandwiches, and quiches are excellent! Cookies had good flavor but were not soft on my 2 visits. I still need to try the homemade bagels and pizza which are rumoured to also be delicious! If you are heading past or into York, this bakery cafe is a must. Its the best youll find withing 50 miles. read more

Most everything I've tried is good. The coffee is ok. The customer service is usually poor, but that is par for the course these days.

Good food. Amazing pizza. And the sweets are some of the best I've had in the area. Def. Recommend.
