Excellent cafe with home baked pastries and tons of other goodies. We were there when they'd just moved into their new location so a couple of items were absent from the menu. This didn't matter at all. Everything we had was 5-star worthy. The woman who assisted us was super pleasant, helping us to pick out a memorable breakfast. We ended up trying one of the breakfast sandwiches with a homemade biscuit, a salmon bagel, a paris brest, and a cinnamon bun. I would recommend them all. I am a frequent customer of this establishment. I rarely ever review places. I drove over for take out only to find out they had made the wrong pizza for us. The girl at the counter did not make any concessions or even offer to give us the mistake pizza. They made us waste 25 minutes of our time waiting for the new pizza with no compensation or food for us to have while we waited for thier mistake. The food is good the customer service is lacking. I popped in for a quick lunch and had the broccoli soup which was delicious. I also had a great chocolate chip cookie. I was underwhelmed by the wait staff . I ordered at the counter and the couple there were having a convo and didn't seem to care I was waiting to order. When I ask for a soda they motioned to a machine. I got the soda out and had to ask to have it opened. I don't know if they thought I had been there and knew what to do or what. The food was also quite pricey. I may go back as s treat but they definitely need to train counter staff to at least pay attention and maybe smile. read more

The Copper Crust is a restaurant I really wanted to love. It's in a good location, near my home and work. The menu looked promising as well. Yet, the food was average or subpar. My quiche was cold on two separate occasions. Their espresso is, in my humble opinion, burnt, and there is almost never a table (as there are four of them). The redeeming quality is their baked goods, which are great. So if your looking for a good york bakery, Copper Crust isn't bad. But it's not the restaurant/café that I was hoping it would be. read more

What a pleasant experience finding this gem while traveling on business. My wife and I both got cold sandwiches for lunch which were delicious. Fresh local ingredients. The house salad comes with a lemon vinaigrette that is truly remarkable and needed to be mentioned. The many bakery items are over the top! The sticky bun was sooo good. Some items to note; the sausage is not the typical breakfast sausage. It was ok but not what we like. The bacon wasnt very substantive (I like thicker bacon and this wasn't even close). Having salad is different but it had a refreshing pineapple dressing on it. Eggs were done ok (we got scrambled and over hard). Frankly, I could do without the salad if it meant the restaurant would have thicker cut bacon. I asked for the potatoes to be crispy but they didn't come out that way and they weren't hashbrowns or anything just sliced potatoes- no big deal here, I just mention it. Stopped in York, Pa for boxerfest. Found this place on yelp. Its a cute, clean, restaurant. You order at the cash register and they give you a number card for your table. Once your food is done they deliver it to you. By far the best French Toast I've personally ever had. Made with real crusty french bread. I personally feel that it didn't need syrup. Husband had the Black Prime Rib sandwich. It looked and smelled wonderful. He thoroughly enjoyed the sandwich. If boxerfest returns to York, Pa for 2020 we will be back. read more

Outstanding little breakfast and brunch cafe! I thought it was so sweet, we got a little twisted around trying to find it (it's on the Beaver Market entrance not the Pennsylvania entrance). We called and the lovely lady actually stood outside to help us find the cafe! The customer service was outstanding and the food was incredible! We tried the lemon curd French toast, which was my favorite! The lemon curd is perfect and house made! We also had the wonderful house smoked bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on a delicious cheddar biscuit and the poached egg or house smoked ham with an awesome poblano scallion cream sauce atop another yummy cheddar biscuit. I thought it was very classy that the chef came out and asked us how everything was and chatted with is for a bit. Overall an amazing experience!
