Really appreciated our last visit to Rogue Growler. We noticed that the beer listing board was much more organized than it was on our last visit, making it easier to select what you might be craving. Granted, there are a million beers here to pick from, so it can be somewhat overwhelming, but variety is certainly the spice of life. On this visit, we found the service to be much more welcoming, and the gentleman behind the counter made some good recommendations for my wife to help her find exactly what she was looking for. This is just down the street from the park so after throwing a frisbee , walking your dog, just when you're thirsty it's close! We brought our dog since they have outdoor tables and I could see the ball game from the outside. Great selection of beer,ales and select ciders. We should come more often since we could walk there! read more

Great beer! Fun environment. Man they need to work on whose hosting though. There will be times we show up and have great wait staff; all very welcoming and informative on the brews on hand. Others you've got to wait 10 minutes for them to come back from their car while they finish a blunt before you can order. Get it together and it'll be a stellar place! read more

A great place to hang out an have a beer...or 3 ;) The owners are really nice and know their stuff. The decor is awesome and their branding is on point, somewhat of a feat in our little valley. My favorite addition has by far been the patio which is miraculously cool even on the hottest days due to some cleverly placed fans and misters. Dogs are welcome too, which always guarantees repeat business from me. Rogue Growler doesn't serve food but that's ok, several local places will deliver there including personal favorite Jackson Creek Pizza. Some friends and i went for trivia night. The hostess warned the participants that there would be some "sexual questions" and leave now if that would offend. The questions were mostly innocuous, then she quoted about a paragraph of super filthy lyrics that were not just a little mysogenenistic. So...really bizarre. There was a taco bar that seriously tasted worse then school cafeteria food that was catered by a real-estate office, i bit into a chicken bone about an inch long. read more

I have been coming to this place since it first opened and I always want want to spend my nights off here. They do trivia, live music, and screens to watch the games. There is outside seating with fire pits and an ever increasing menu of bites to eat. The taps rotate constantly and my wife and I always find something we enjoy. read more

This used to be our favorite hang out. We loved the back patio and that they were dog friendly. Before we had a dog, we liked hanging out with other people's dog. Then we got one of our own and the Growler WS perfect. But alas they are no longer dog friendly, which is a loss. read more

I am in love with The Rogue Growler and think it such a great addition to Medford. My husband I went for the Elysian Pumpkin Beer take over, which was a such a fun event. At first, we were worried we wouldn't find a place to sit because the inside seating was take BUT no worries (!) they had an adorable outside patio. For the tap take over, they had seven different pumpkin beers; yep, SEVEN different PUMPKIN beers! For this event, they tapped a pumpkin and a portion of profits went to fire fighters. Even without pumpkin tappings, it's obvious The Rogue Growler is a local gem. Seating is limited so I would be prepared to take my growler and just get a refill and enjoy at home. read more

I really enjoyed the environment of this place. They had a great selection of beer and overall the place itself was fun to be in, however, the server behind the bar was extremely rude. She had purple hair and a terrible attitude. She refused to help us with knowledge of what was popular and good, and seemed inconvenienced to give us the two samples we each had. She loudly put up chairs and tables one hour before close, to try to signal to us to leave. Definitely will try this place but will leave if treated that way again. I understand everyone has their off days, but I am in customer service and there is a face you have to put on even if you're not happy. read more

Went to have a relaxing beer and basically got ran out of the place. They had a party booked but didn't tell you before you bought your beer and sat down. Trying to relax and have a beer and a lady is moving tables all around and making people move so she can move the tables. She had the audacity to take my table that my beer was sitting on. If you're going to book a party maybe you should tell your customers that come in that you have a party booked and they are not welcomed. If you're going to have a private party maybe you should close your place for that event. Will never go back. Had to slam my beer and leave. Do not recommend would have done no stars if possible. The help is wonderful. The choices are numerous. So my son and I went here since they had so many beers on tap. We both order a flight of tasters so we had 12 tastes between us. We were about to finally pick one to bring back as a growler for a family dinner. Alas, when we went to check out, there were no "to go" containers as they we still on back order. We were happy with everything and sad we couldn't bring some with us. And this is where the staff went above and beyond. I stopped into this place one day just to check it out and instantly made friends with the beertender Amanda who was extremely knowledgeable about each and every beer on the extensive beer list. She matched my tastes to the perfect IPA. I'm always going back to get her recommendation on new beers that come in. Plus she's tough with any rifraff that may come through the door so that they don't spoil the vibe for everyone else! Great fireplace in back. Highly recommend. read more

We were traveling through Medford when we Yelped where to get a good beer. This place came up and we decided to stop there. We had a very knowledgeable server named Amanda and she help us pick great beers. Yes!! So happy the Rogue Growler is here. I love that you all were bold enough to open as a neighborhood establishment rather than following everyone else downtown. This place is a beer drinkers paradise! So many beers on tap and all decently priced. Anything over 8% was served in a 10oz glass, and the prices were reflective of that. Sculpin on tap for $5, sign me up! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely a small place, I could see it getting a little crowded on a busy night. I hear they are opening a back patio with a fire pit for the summer months, which is awesome. Looking forward to supporting this local, small business for many years to come. I didn't give this little neighborhood corner, beer heaven gem 5 stars because I haven't had any of the food yet. But the beer selection is just amazing, kinda small so if it's busy your not gonna get a seat and the times I've visited, the one bar tender can get pretty overwhelmed.
