Came here around halloween time so it was worth it for the decoration since they went all out. The front door is closed and blocked off after a certain time and it was kind of weird they don't mention that or have it written somewhere but it's good they take into account noise for the neighbors. Drinks were good. Did not have any food so can't comment on that. It is a small place though so can get packed

My man and I stopped by here this evening around 6 o'clock for a cocktail and a snack. It turned into a full fledged evening, as there was some sort of corporate event going on. It was super quiet and chill until about 7 PM when many suited-up corporate professionals began to arrive. We were sat in a very comfortable green velvet-upholstered little nook, and we loved the ambience of the place and ordered a cocktail while we decided on the menu. Our bartender/waiter Miguel, went above and beyond to check on us, even though we were casually dressed and obviously not participating in the corporate event that was taking place. The drinks were extremely strong and good. We ordered the mussels and fries as a starter, and then decided to split the fried chicken sandwich, which was delicious and exactly what we wanted to fill us up. We can't say enough about how delightful the bartenders were, and how even though there was a room full of people at this business networking event, they still came around to check on us. I can't remember the name of the other lovely bartender, but he was a slim, handsome bespectacled young man. Suffice it to say we slept on this place, but we love it here and will most definitely return!! Thanks to the staff for their perfect service and delicious food and drinks!!

Went to the Corner Door on 1/31 for my BFs 34th Birthday. I ended up buying a round of drinks for the table (3) and with a 20% tip I paid 90$ so do with that information as you will The bar was pretty busy, but not overly packed which was nice. If you sat at a table and ordered a drink, tenders would being it to you which is a nice experience as opposed to hanging at a crowded bar Ambiance was great, very vibey and lowkey. Music instruments strewn the wall and iirc there is a dart board, although not really utilized But the real star of the show was my espresso martini. Ive had a lot of them, as theyre exclusively my drink (that or lemon drops) and Corner Door made one of the yummiest espresso martinis ive ever had. It was made with mushroom mocha which was a delightful twist. Only downside is the drink was in a pretty small coupe glass Seriously such a delicious espresso martini

Brunch is now served and what a Sunday treat! Great live music kept the energy high. For my mocktail, order my hand crafted sunrise and sunset drink from the detail oriented bartenders. And the food, reminded me of my Filipina heritage. Chef Justin took me back to my roots with the ube pancakes and fried rice. The most luscious creation to me was the SHRIMP OKONOMIYAKI. I'm glad you asked why; because it made me roll my eyes up at every bite and made me feel like dynamite.

Came here last night for a friend's birthday and loved the vibe of this quaint and eclectic bar! The ambiance was fantastic and the DJ at night played some great beats! The bartenders were so friendly and made fantastic drinks. I got a margarita and it was well balanced. There was ample seating as well as a cute outdoor patio. There was even a plushy couch with pillows. They even had some heat lamps going on this chilly summer evening. Parking was a little hard to find but I was able to score a meter on Washington Blvd.

Discover the Corner Door couple of months ago and this is my go place. Great vibes. Zack, the owner is awesome, makes you feel welcome. What makes this place also special is their cocktails! The bartenders are very friendly, always smiling and service is perfect. Although, my favorite bartender is Miguel. He always makes me great cocktails and always surprises me with new ones that are not on the menu! Live Dj's during weekends.

    Cool spot.

Review pending because I need to actually go back and enjoy the food and cocktails! Discovered the Corner Door when they participated in a local trick or treat pathway for families local to the area. What a charming place! The decor is cozy and welcoming. It's giving out a "come have a drink back at my house" vibe. Not too posh, not too divey. The staff behind the bar were lovely and patient when my kids took out a skeleton. I can't wait to go back and try it out properly

Ended up here one night with a friend. First time. Will not be my last. Even if I have to drive around the block looking for parking again. Even if it's busy, which it wasn't the evening I was here - don't ask which night because I'm so far behind with my reviews that I don't remember. Even if it's not quite a full menu as it's a bar that serves food, not a restaurant with bar. At least that's my take. The decor is hard to explain. A bar. Some tables off to one side. Then an area set up like a living room or lounge. Quirky. Fun. That's the vibe I felt. That's the vibe I like. Back to the parking. Street parking. Free after 6PM I think. Confirm the time. If you go by my review and get a ticket, that's on you. There's a happy hour. Two, if I remember correctly. Check the menu. I didn't take pics of it. Or maybe check their site or social media. Chose a seat at the bar. Great, friendly service. Bartender took care of the drinks and served the food (see pics). Enjoyed the food. Loved the drink. Burger hit the spot as it was cooked as requested, wasn't dry and tasted good. Fries were crispy, not under or overcooked. The drink was balanced not overpowering and considered ordering a second, but opted for dessert (elsewhere) so, passed until my next visit. What I really liked about this place was the feel like it's one where you'd go happy hour or to just hang out with friends. I don't want to go so far as to say that it feels like home - but for me, I felt comfortable enough to say that I can see myself as a regular here. Remember, to each their own.

This is my new fav neighborhood spot since my former fav spot closed in April. I've been here twice so far. 1st visit: I stopped by after work Friday for drinks with a colleague. Finally a place with a happy hour after 5P. I love this for us...lol We were greeted by Matt & Miguel at the bar. Anyhoo we ordered the tequila based happy hour cocktail Rose-Arita. So delicious and refreshing. I ordered the Mambo burger and fries! Unfortunately, it was so scrumptious I neglected to take a pic. My 2nd drink was custom made for me by the friendliest server/bartender with pineapple juice & Reposado tequila (Aiden?). 2 drinks, Mambo burger, and fries for $40. Happiest hour in town! They were prepping for a 70's theme bday event. I inquired about birthday celebrations because mine was around the corner. Liz, the event planner, was so gracious & informative. We made a plan to celebrate my birthday a couple of week's ago. 2nd visit: my birthday happy hour with friends & colleagues. It was most definitely a vibe. My friends loved the VIP treatment and space. Miguel kept the drinks flowing and a time was had by all. Even though I was charged for 2 drinks that were supposed to charged to my colleagues, I didn't mind paying because the Corner Door crew really came through for me! Can't wait to go back!

Thought this place was cute and really enjoyed the vibe! Lots of couches and seating and cool decor. Fun music but not so loud that it's hard to have a conversation, which can be hard to find on a Friday night. Really enjoyed the pineapple mezcal cocktails here as well!

Not yet. They have gourmet hotdogs and planning on building out an outside deck in the Summer with a food menu then. Great drinks and happy hour currently!

Tables looked available around 5pm though so walk-ins could be possible. Ambiance: Outside was nice and inside looked dimly lit and romantic. We were seated promptly and service was good. Food: Rice slushy had a strangely strong cinnamon-like taste to it that traditional rice punch doesn't have which was so overpowering, it made it difficult to go back for more sips. Oysters - good though small, enjoyed the kelp mignonette Korean Aguachile - Delicate tilefish completely overwhelmed by cold kimchi broth with actual icy slush in it and small amounts of fish Steak Tartare - The hot stone bowl seemed to defeat the purpose of a tartare, as it cooked the steak once mixed. The perilla leaves were also cut in large strips relative to the beef. Chilled Acorn Noodle - The perilla oil was nonexistent in flavor though the dish didn't need it and was good without. Overall, portions were small for the price and dishes weren't well-executed so despite being excited for more Korean options in West LA, I'd much rather make the drive to Koreatown for better portions, prices, and flavors.

The location has a spacious area filled with a variety of wine options. I picked a Bourgogne Chardonnay from France ($36). We came on a late Monday afternoon and, lucky for us, they have a bar special on Mondays: No corkage fee! They also have Happy Hour-- Monday to Friday from 3-6pm. The Chardonnay was divine! I would totally return and purchase another bottle. We also ordered a charcuterie board and took advantage of their happy hour special for $20 (pick two-- one cheese and one meat). We opted for the 'Humboldt Fog' Chèvre as our cheese option and the Bresaola for our meat option. Both were delicious, but the chèvre was truly exquisite. We shared one charcuterie board with five people and it was enough; however if you're on the hungry side, I suggest two charcuterie boards for five or six people. In addition to meat and cheese, it comes with crackers, some pickled veggies, onion jam, candied nuts, whole grain Dijon, and apple slices. On the left side of the venue you have your variety of wine options; on the right side, there's the bar and some tables, plus a small area with other snacks for purchase that pair nicely with wine or beer. They even sell the Torres truffle chips! My only complaint is the service, unfortunately. The lady at the cashier was super friendly, however the bar tender was not so welcoming. When he came over to our table to open our wine bottle, he didn't greet us, smile, or say anything. He took our bottle and opened it and then asked who was going to taste. Not sure if he thought we didn't speak English since we were speaking another language when he came to our table, but overall, we all noticed his attitude and thought it was rather unwelcoming. Because of this experience, I rate this place a 4/5, however, everything else was great!

I've enjoyed a wide range of wines from an orange one day, a pinot next, a buttery Chardonnay or a spicy Syrah. Every time I'm there it's a fun experiment. :) If you're a lightweight like me, I'd suggest eating a meal beforehand because the menu is pretty light. It was a quiet semi-divey atmosphere with a foosball table and a couple of dart boards on the dark painted walls plus a few TVs. There were only a few people there when we arrived around 6 PM. We sat at a high table by the window and the kind young bartender took our drink and food orders. We had arrived in time for happy hour, so we chose the charcuterie board and two orders of the salmon sliders, both reasonably priced at $9.50 each. The sliders were spicy and delicious. The charcuterie board was not as impressive. It didn't seem particularly fresh; the grapes especially were a bit wrinkly and sad. We could also have done with a few more pieces of toast to go with the pieces of smoked Gouda and Brie, and the couple slices of salami and prosciutto. There were also a few dates and dried apricots on the board. Well, whatta ya want for $9.50 in L.A., I guess... Overall it was a pleasant and chill experience, and our bartender/waiter was quite attentive even though the place started to fill up the longer we stayed.

The spritz was strong or my tolerance has gone way down. First course: I was pleasantly surprised by how big the Avacado toast was. It had a jam at the bottom that brought the whole dish together. That's some healthy eggs! Fresh toast looked amazing as well, same with the burger. I know the burger was also popular at happy hour for the price but I was told it was very good.
