The food here is always good, and the portions are huge. I brought my dog with me this time, so we sat on the patio. The staff was so nice and brought him a water bowl, even asking if he wanted some ice. They also have a doggy menu with options like eggs, beef patties, and cheese. I ordered the BAM Burger this time and devoured it. The string fries were also really good and crispy. Overall great brunch spot!

Breakfast Date with My Bestie! Came back here for a breakfast date with my bestie, and this spot is conveniently located in a plaza, so there's plenty of parking--always a win! We arrived around 8:30 AM, so the line was practically nonexistent and we were seated right away. I've heard this place gets pretty packed starting around 10 AM, so coming early definitely worked in our favor! Spanish Frittata + Home Potatoes & Sourdough -- $19.69 Rating: 8/10 The cheese on top was melted to the perfect amount, and the combination of avocado, chorizo, and bell peppers gave the frittata a really nice balance of flavors. The home potatoes and sourdough were a great addition to make it a filling breakfast without feeling too heavy. Overall, a really solid breakfast spot with friendly and fast service. Definitely coming back when I'm in the mood for another breakfast date! Happy eats!

Came here for lunch w/my family on Saturday - it was very busy but the wait didn't feel too bad. We sat inside and upon walking in, I was blown away by how colorful and busy the place was. The decor itself is such a sight to see. Lots of options on the menu - we tried the shrimp omelette, the banana nut pancake, the chilaquiles & the chicken fried steak. That banana nut pancake was amazing, it was my favorite item and it reminded me of childhood because my mom would always make banana nut muffins! Service was great, everyone was very nice and attentive. Would definitely come back to try out some other items! There's also patio seating as well.

French toast is wayyyyyyy awesome!! Love it! My hubby found this place and we came here for breakfast. Inside atmosphere immediately caught my eyes and made me feel the home welcoming vibe. They are friendly, fast, and food is excellent. Must try this great place, I will say this is my favourite place in town now! Thank you Violet Rooster!

A Fabulous (and Filling!) Mother's Day Brunch! Came here on a Saturday with my daughter and grandchildren for an early Mother's Day brunch, and it did not disappoint! The Violet Rooster is a fantastic little brunch spot with unique, charming decor and seriously generous portions. PRO TIP: Reservations are highly recommended through Yelp! It is not a very large restaurant, so if you don't book ahead, expect to wait about 30 to 40 minutes for a table (which is exactly what we waited). Because of the cozy size, it's also probably not the best spot for big parties of more than 8 people. They do have both indoor seating and an outdoor patio option. Once we were seated, our server was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout the meal. We started with drinks--a Violet's Secret Mimosa and a Paloma--both were refreshing and well-made. For food, we ordered a bit of everything: Feta Me Betta: Egg whites scrambled with spinach, mushrooms, red bell pepper, turkey sausage, feta, and everything spice. It came with homestyle potatoes, fresh salsa, and a piece of sourdough. It was packed with flavor! Traditional Eggs Benedict: Canadian bacon with a perfect traditional hollandaise sauce that my daughter loved. Happy Hendrix Pancake: A super fluffy buttermilk pancake with a smiley face made out of fresh fruit and confetti sprinkles. It was an absolute hit with my granddaughter! All in all, a wonderful experience. The portions are huge--we definitely couldn't finish everything and happily took leftovers home. As a bonus, the bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. Just keep in mind that the parking lot is on the smaller side, so give yourself a few extra minutes to find a spot. We will definitely be back!

Great place to eat great food! I would recommend it to everyone come with family or girls day lunch or brunch! Even a breakfast date with your husband.

Easy to get into, no waits during the week and fun atmosphere. Food is great, large portions with a special vibe. Not like it just came out of the freezer. Plan to pay $50 for two people but it worth the price! Try it but don't make it too busy for me ;)

This place is awesome. Very energetic kind if vibe of a restaurant. Music while you're eating is a good vibe. The interior decors are unique. So many things on the ceiling that I can't keep looking up. Now the staff is kind and fast but not attentive. The food, well compliments to the chefs who prepared it. I love my order. Everyone in my party was having S good brunch. I'm most definitely coming back here.

Heard this place was busy so we joined the waitlist online as we made our way to the restaurant and that made our wait faster. Burrito was delicious, I chose chorizo as my protein. The biscuits and gravy was okay, it tasted like it was missing something but I couldn't figure out what. There wasn't enough gravy that I was just eating the biscuit by itself. The interior was pretty cool and very different with the decorations. Only complaint is our waiter never checked up on us after our food was served so we kept having to find someone (anyone who passed by) for things we needed. We asked for a box and our check but only got the box. Then even after our plates were taken off the table, we waited 10min just for us to ask AGAIN for the check because our waiter was too busy chit chatting with the women next to our table.

First time trying this place and we loved it!, no wait for a party of 2, great service since the beginning, we ordered chilaquiles green with 2 eggs and they were delicious , also we ordered banana pancakes also very good and fluffy, our coffee was very good too, ALSO they are fast!! We ordered our food and in 5 minutes they served our plates, so great service, very good food, nice ambience, nice music not overwhelming, and very fast!

We have been trying to eat at this restaurant for quite some time, but it is always so packed. We finally got a chance to eat here. It was a nice morning so we sat outside with our dog. The servers were nice and they were friendly with our dog as well. There is a pup menu for the fur friends! I got the chilaquiles and the food was okay, but lacked some heat and salt. The beans overpowered the dish.

This place is a nice little breakfast eatery. The decoration is fun and the food is great. My daughter had the French Toast and said it tasted like churros, and she was right. It was great and the portion size is huge. I had the Avocado Toast and it was great. The seasoning, the bacon crumble, and the feta made the meal pop. We will most definitely be coming back here. Also, they do serve lunch.

Excellent service and good! The ambiance was cool! Reminded me of spots you find around the beach for breakfast. Really loved it all!! We tried the buttermilk pancakes and the country breakfast. They both didn't disappoint!!

I found this coffee shop near me so I decided to go with my sister in law. We arrived 10mins before closing time so I was excited to make it on time. Apparently the ridiculously rude young lady working there wasn't having it. She took a couple minutes to take our order since putting in the patio furniture was more important. When she finally finished, she came to the counter with a horrible attitude asking what we wanted. My sister in law wanted a hot coffee and she refused to served it since the machine was "off" already. Then she proceeded to order a banana iced coffee (don't know the name) and again the lady refused to make it since it was one of their most "complicated" drinks to make. We ended up ordering two "quick and easy" ice drinks. We asked if she was working alone... this lady only had rude comments and answers to say (smart ass). It is unfortunate to be treated that way specially when it was my first time there. It is also very unfortunate that the Spanish Latte I ordered was delicious, BUT I will never be returning or recommending this place due to the horrible customer service. I have family in the coffee business and customer service is always a priority, not at this location. Very disappointed with whoever hired her and trained her.

If you're looking for that rich deep orange yolk, you'll likely find it here. I find that their eggs do not always have that deep orange yolk, but it often does! I finally tried their Ugleez ($12.50/30 eggs) and besides being "ugly" and much lighter in color on the outside, they were delicious and had the perfect orange yolk! I came to this drive-through farm instead of Maust Farms across the street, and there are…read moredefinitely pros and cons to both. This location is convenient and accessible because it's a drive-through, although traffic can get backed up. The eggs are also more expensive than the ones across the street, and in reality, I really couldn't tell which ones were better. I know some people are sticklers about eggs, but I honestly couldn't see much of a difference between the blue eggs I got from Maust Farms and the brown eggs from here. My biggest issue with this place was the amount of fecal matter on the eggs. That wasn't exactly appetizing, especially compared with the eggs across the street, which were much cleaner. I know farm-fresh eggs aren't always going to look perfectly clean, but for what I paid, I expected them to be cleaner. I originally thought you weren't really supposed to wash farm-fresh eggs with water, but when there's visible fecal matter on the shells, obviously you want to clean them before using them. I later learned that you can buy an enzymatic egg wash specifically made for cleaning fresh eggs and that the water should be warmer rather than cold when washing. Using cold water can cause the contents of the egg to contract and potentially draw contaminants through the porous shell. So if you're coming to this location, I would recommend knowing how to properly clean and store farm-fresh eggs, especially if yours are as dirty as some of mine were. The people here were very nice, and the drive-through is definitely convenient. However, between the higher price and how dirty the eggs were, I'll most likely go across the street next time.

Food has always been good, especially their waffles and in-house syrup- my favorite ! And I appreciate the expansion of their menu. Unfortunately over the past couple of years I've noticed a decline in their customer service. I know it's also under new ownership, I'm not sure if that's why but our past few visits have been disappointing due to the costumer service. I won't say all, but several of their employees have been rude and just unprofessional. It's not so much what the employees say, but more so their tone of voice and delivery. They need to work on being more friendly and hospitable to their customers. Also, the last couple of times our orders have been wrong. One time they completely forgot my husband's meal, and another time they added on two extra meals. I get sometimes these things happen but it's how they respond after and their willingness to make it right with the customer that's been aggravating. Maybe the employees should be trained to read back orders to avoid this from happening? After these instances, I now ask the cashier to repeat my order but I haven't experienced a cashier be pro-active in doing that on their own without me asking. I've had experience in the restaurant industry for many years as a server and hostess so I'm well aware of good customer service especially dealing with rushes and hangry costumers. I know this restaurant gets busy, and rightfully so for their good food and history, but it seems in their employee's tone of voice and facial expressions that they are not happy to be there to serve their customers. We dealt with a cashier who couldn't smile and looked so over it and just annoyed taking our order, the food runners sometimes have an attitude. A smile goes a long way !! I just hope to see an improvement in their customer service because we used to really love coming here.
